I couldnt even get an appointment at this place the lady on the phone was kind of rude first she tells me she never even heard of the insurance I got even though thats how I found out about them and second I tell her my symptoms and she just says oh well you need to go to urgent care it sounds like youre not going to make it to Tuesday who talks like that? No compassion and treated me like I was pranking them or something when Im not and fyi I did go to the ER and they really didnt do much I need a professional to help me not a doctor that knows little of gynecology whatever though found someone better and more understanding and actually knows the insurance Im on this place is a joke I dont see how anyone can deny a patient but I guess they can good luck ladies

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Scroggins office for about 2 years and I consider him the best ob/gyn and hormone replacement therapy doctor I’ve been to. He’s always kind and takes all the time you need. His staff (nurse and office staff) are also great to work with. A lot of companies used COVID-19 as an excuse to drop the ball on things that are really important but this office never has. I highly recommend this place... especially for moms to be!

My doctor in the first and second trimester was in Dallas as I lived there before. I was looking for a local doctor as I have moved & I got lucky to find Dr. Scroggins. He was a wonderful person and had a genuine interest in treating me as his patient. He was very patient and let me know what to expect as time went on.. he was very knowledgeable, answered any and all questions I had and knew what was best in my situation. He’s realistic when it comes to experiences he has had in his career, he tells you very matter of fact answers and not just everything you want to hear. My baby was healthy, happy and home in no time from the hospital delivery and he came to check on me several times during and after labor/birth.I absolutely loved his staff as well.. they were very helpful, friendly and fun to learn from.Thank you Dr Scroggins and Staff for such a wonderful experience!! I’d recommend you to anyone looking for a great OB hands down!!

Dr. Scroggins is so much more than a 5 Star Doctor!!! He has been the best Doctor I have ever had. He has the BEST BEDSIDE MANNER... I have been going to him for many years. Dr Scroggins is attentive to your needs and takes all the time you need to help you understand any health care concerns you have. He has delivered my 2 children by C-Section, which made it possible for a healthy delivery for both my children and my self. Since then many years have passed and now he helps me with my low hormone needs. I would recommend Dr. Mark Scroggins to EVERY WOMAN out there!!!!

Dr. Scroggins and his staff are wonderful! I have been a patient of his since 2005, when I was pregnant with my first baby. Since then he has delivered my 4th baby 2 months ago! Dr. Scroggins was very direct in explaining to me and Including me in creating a plan of care for each of my difficult and high risk pregnancies! There are very few doctors that would get a worried mom swimmingly through 4 csections! His staff is always helpful and really friendly they make you feel like family after a bit! He’s always answered every question I’ve had no matter how silly or off the wall it seemed to be at the time. Me and my kids are extremely lucky that I found such a great obgyn. Couldn’t imagine seeing another doctor. Will see him for as long as he is practicing.

I started seeing Dr. Scroggins in March 2018 when I found out I was expecting my first child. From the first visit, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Scroggins and the staff. He is very knowledgable and answered most of my questions before I could even ask them. He paid attention to my needs and took his time with us every time. You can tell he truly cares about what he does. Dr. Scroggins performed my c-section and my husband said what he could see was done amazingly in the OR. My aftercare was fantastic and I healed beautifully. I accredit that to the fantastic job done by Dr. Scroggins. I will continue to see him for my needs and any future children we decide to have.

I just recently had my second baby with Dr Scroggins and I would recommend him to any and everyone! Hes very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions, should you have any. He very professional and to the point. His office staff is top notch, I love the ladies there! They went above and beyond throughout both pregnancies and definitely dont get enough gratitude (from us patiences) as they deserve! I could only imagine working with hormonally charged pregnant ladies 40+ hours a week, but they do and are exceptional with it! We plan to have one more baby... Dr. Scroggins and his staff will definitely be my first of choice!

Great Doctor and great staff! My wife and I stuck with Dr. Scroggins from the start and hes done a great job, especially in the end, being as patient as he was letting us wait and wait to ensure we really needed to go through with a C-Section. The staff was more than friendly and sociable. You would have to be a person looking for flaws or looking for confrontation to not have a good experience here.

Dr.Mark Scroggins and his staff are absolutely amazing. I started seen Dr. Scroogins in 2010 when I got pregnant with my first child. I was beyond nervous his staff made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Scroggins would make sure he answered all my question before he left the room. So when I found out in 2019 I was pregant I refused to deliver my second child without him. Yes that right I drove 2 1/2 hour to see this Dr. I would highly recommend Dr. Scroggins to any female.

I wouldnt let him deliver my dog. I am pregnant with baby number 6 and chose to deliver at a hospital further away than HEB to prevent the risk of getting him on call. He told me my 6 year old SON was a girl by sonogram. Never waited less than an hour at his clinic before being seen. Told me my son was so big one of us might die during birth. He used fear to get me to consent to an induction at 39 weeks. My baby was a whopping 6 lb 11oz. 🤔🙄 While in the hospital being induced, my labor progressed quicker than he expected. When I the nurses told him it was time, he literally told them theres no way, shes being dramatic. It was my 3rd son and was by far my most traumatic birth. It took YEARS to mentally and emotionally recover from the trauma he put me through and now with the arrival of #6 in a few days, the anxiety has kicked back in. Please consider looking elsewhere if you care about your birth experience.

I had a great experience going to Dr. Scroggins every time I went. The staff was always so nice to me, so I dont understand why other people had bad experiences with the staff. And Dr. Scroggins was super helpful as this was my first pregnancy and my husband and I always had so many questions along the way. He even let us wait an entire day to see if I could have my baby naturally because I was so scared of the c-section. He kept coming back up to the hospital to check up on us. And after nearly 24 hours and only dilating to a 3 and a half, we finally decided on the c-section. Dr. Scroggins was there in 8 minutes at the hospital as soon as we gave the ok. I really appreciate what all he did for us that day, and helping my husband and I bring a beautiful baby boy into the world.

Staff is extremely disrespectful and act as if you dont exist. Doctor doesnt communicate with the spouse, partner or support. Came to support my sister and after being denied to go back immediately with, I was told Id be able to after vitals. 30 minutes later, Im still in the waiting room, no one wants to help or acknowledge me, but the patients that left before had people with them. For a first appointment, I wanted to be apart of hearing the heart beat and in the room during the sonogram and hearing progress of baby and I missed it..

He delivered my daughter in 2008 via c section. I wouldnt recommend this Dr if thats what you call him. I didnt have any problems with my pregnancy except not dialating by 39 weeks. He admitted me to induce me and even tried breaking my water with no seccess. When told about c section he failed to tell me he was going to cut me from belly button down to bikini line. I found out afterwards that I would never be a leg to have a vaginal birth because of how it was cut open. If I was to attend it I could die from it. My stomach muscles were cut open and would never be able to push a baby out. While in hospital I told him something was wrong with my stomach. He brushed it off and said it was normal. I was sent home with infection in my incision. When I went back to er they did Emergency surgery I had MRSA with fever of 103. Lets just say once you get cut open a second time they dont staple you back up. They put a little machine on you called wound vac. It isnt very pleasant to have dressing changed all the time either. Its like ripping your insides out every time. Was sent home on IV antibiotics. Dr told me not to get pregnant for a year and put me on birth control. Seven months into the birth control routine i found I was pregnant again. When I went and had my first sonogram I found out I was six months along and cried not knowing what was going to happen. I was so afraid because I was still getting over the last birth. My son was born at 37 weeks gestation. He was 9lbs 14oz. Only thing I did different was find a better Ob Dr in Fort Worth. So life lesson if your gut feels funny about someone then you might want to think hard about it.

I would not recommend this doctor for any first time mother. Especially a mother who is attempting to learn about the process that her body is going through because this OB does not take the time to teach or even tell the woman anything that she may need or want to know about her own body or her child’s.This OB also uses scare tactics in order to quickly move through the motions of the pregnancy. For example, after my first Pap smear, a nurse from his office called me with the results of my test and informed me that they came back “abnormal” (there was minor swelling). However, she specifically informed me that the results for my HPV test came back normal and to not worry about cervical cancer because of this. She stated that it could be the natural hormones that come with pregnancy that could have caused the abnormal reading or that I had intercourse too close to the date of the smear and it threw off the results. However, she informed me that they would like to take a second look just to be sure. I was concerned with having them do another Pap smear less than a week after my first because it was still so early in my pregnancy and I was not informed of any risks that could potentially follow having two Pap smears so close together. Therefore, I denied the request to have a second one done (signed a refusal notice and everything to have on file). However, during my next appointment, the OB set everything up to do the second smear anyhow, leaving me confused. When I told him about the refusal letter I signed to have it done, he immediately told me about how the process of pregnancy would hurt much worse than the second smear and how I was basically putting my child at risk of death by not having a second one done. I felt as if he did not respect my choice of refusal, he made me feel like a terrible parent and a naive, uneducated first time mother, even though I had been consulting with other nurses and a dula throughout my pregnancy just to be safe. Long story short, I had the second smear out of fear instead of following my own gut feeling, only to find that there was nothing wrong in the first place as I originally imagined. Finally, three weeks before my actual due date, the OB performed his first routine vaginal check for dilation on me, only to find I was not yet dilated. I figure this is normal, especially for a first time mother and that I still had time to dilate. However, I was told by the OB that my cervix was “extremely narrow”, there was a low chance of vaginal delivery, and that I would have to be admitted at 39 weeks to induce my labor and have a c-section. Now, it was not the idea of a C-Section that really bothered me at all, it was the fact that the presentation of the idea felt forced and rushed as if the OB was absolutely certain that no progress would occur over the next few weeks with my cervix. As a healthy first time mother with a seemingly healthy child, I wanted to know if it was still possible for a normal vaginal birth even if it meant waiting until my 40 week mark to give my cervix a little more time to attempt to dilate. At my next visit I informed the OB of this and that my dula and other acting nurse agreed as well, that if myself and my child were completely healthy, there should be no harm in waiting another week to see if my cervix will cooperate and if not, I figure, the C-Section will still have to happen anyway but at least this wayI know I tried. The very second I mentioned having a dula, the OB completely lost it on me and began shouting at me that dula’s don’t know what they are talking about, that I double the chances of stillbirth/death in my child if I wait, and that if my dula was going to be in the room during delivery that he WOULD NOT DELIVER MY BABY AND I WOULD HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR TO DO SO.Therefore once again, this OB tried to scare me into doing what he wanted me to do by (once again) mentioning the death of my child and trying to make me feel like an incompetent mother. If my baby and I are healthy, what is the problem with waiting?

I had my 1st child in July 2011 with Dr Scroggins. As a first time preggo, I would have preferred someone who could have guided me through the process a bit better. He was nice but I wouldnt refer him. Also, I felt he kinda pushed me into a C-section. He mentioned he was going on vacation and was trying to get everything scheduled before. I guess if I would have waited naturally it might have interfered with his golfing. Last thing, his office staff, I dont know if they are still there but they werent the nicest bunch of ladies. Anyway, I give him a 2 because me and my child are alive and all so ...yeah.
