I love Dr. Suttle. It is actually fun to go to an appointment because she is like a ray of sunshine - so friendly and caring and knowledgeable. She listens to my concerns and addresses everything even if it wasnt the reason for my appointment and follows up on the issue at my next visit. She is very empathetic and has a great bedside manner. A top notch doctor!

By far the worst doctor we have come across. If you ask around she has the most revisions due to her incompetence. She is only good for sending you to physical therapy. Do not let her perform surgery! You will regret it! It will require another doctor with more experience and skills to repair. She is a DPM. Visit a foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon instead! She comes across very compassionate and will provide you her cell phone number to build confidence. She is dangerous and shouldn’t be allowed to practice.

I Love Dr. Suttle but the scheduling staff is another story! Waiting 6 weeks for an appointment is ridiculous. There seems to be no cancellation list in working order and pleasant service is out of the question.

I am a registered nurse who works in the operating room and would send her to any of my friends or family members. Dr. Suttle is a wonderful, caring and all around great physician! She saw my 11 year old daughter for a pretty traumatic ankle injury and was so great with a young kiddo. She explained everything in a way that not only I could understand but that my child could understand. Dr. Suttle has the best bedside manner and my daughter looks forward to seeing her! I cant thank Dr. Suttle enough for getting my daughter back to her sport quickly and safely.

My worse decision I have made has been to allow Sara Suttle to operate on my ankle. I tore my ATFL ligament and it should have been a simple procedure. I have now had two additional surgeries to piece back together the mess she has made of my foot and ankle. She cut too aggressively and damaged my sural nerve at incision. This happens in less than 5% of ankle surgeries. She also placed in anchor too high in the Talus agitating the joint space, which sounds awfully similar to another posting on here. She may have certifications, but I can attest to my personal experience the level of incompetence is unbelievable. I met with the top ankle doctors who treat all the major sport teams in Dallas, they were in shock by the lack of skill set. I am disappointed with Texas Orthopedic Specialist for allowing such a subpar physician on their staff. She has lots of volume of patients because of the name of the clinic. She is new and mark my words with the increased traffic she will continue to hurt people. I am Husband, Father of two young kids and CFO for a local business. I cannot express the amount physical and emotional pain this has caused. I pray for those she has operated and is planning to operate on. When I first visited her she was new to the clinic and she did not have these reviews listed. I hope my review saves someone from having their life altered for the worse.

Dr. Shuttle fixed my left foot but made my right foot worse than it was after surgery. After a 45,000 dollar hospital bill I am not happy at all. Her solution was to have the surgery again at my expense. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I have been a patient and friend of Dr Suttle’s for 6+ years and you will not find a harder, more dedicated doctor that cares more about a patient’s outcome than her. Yes, sometimes you have to wait to get in to see her; but that’s because she is very good at what she does (I would be more concerned with the ones you call and get in immediately)! Counter to what one reviewer states about her only being a “podiatrist” - she is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery - for both forefoot and rear foot - which takes years to accomplish - most DPMs only do one or the other (if that). I am amazed at people that use their work buddies to write bogus reviews without any factual details and just make false accusations about incompetence. I am also amazed at the spite by which people seem to strike out at others when things don’t go exactly as they plan. I hope that people reading these reviews can really see what’s going on here. You will not find a better doctor for your foot and ankle needs than Dr Suttle. Period.

Dr. Suttle is an outstanding doctor. I have been her patient for 3 years and I am so satisfied with her ethics. She and her staff will treat you like family!

She did surgery on me just over two years ago to repair a torn ligament. My ankle was swollen for two years. She had me get two post surgery MRIs, that she never shared with us. She just said there was no change. She put me through painful Arasti therapy and even sent me to a pain management doctor that suggested putting an implant in my lower back to help with the pain. After almost two years I went and saw two other surgeons. Both confirmed she must have neglected reading my two post-op MRI reports because they both said there was impingement because the anchor she used to repair my torn ligament was installed IN the joint. We would have sued, but the two year mark was too close for any attorney to accept the case. I am currently post surgery for the repair done by another surgeon and the swelling and pain are already better. Ironically, I met someone else last night on a walker and they were post surgery from another surgeon that had to repair a misplaced item in her foot surgery performed by Dr. Suttle. Both of our repair surgeons said they had multiple former patients of Dr. Suttles they had to correct surgery mistakes for. Please, please, please get another opinion before allowing Dr. Suttle to do anything to your foot or ankle.

Beware!!! Dr. Suttle is a PODIATRIST not a ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON. Our family entrusted her with a surgical procedure that has turned into a year and a half nightmare. She did WAY more than necessary, including cutting a nerve, and we have spent the last year undoing her botched job. The hell we have been through is irreparable. Our new ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON was shocked by her lack of skillset and little knowledge of the Arthrax hardware (he is on their board). Do not let her personality fool you, she went to Podiatry school and is not a orthopedic surgeon, like her office and colleagues allow you to perceive.

Parents steer clear or prepare to spend thousands getting your children back to normal. Terrible feeling as a parent to take them to a Doctor and create more harm than when they went in

Sara is the best with a wide variety of knowledge in foot care. She even knows a lot about my genetic condition as well as diabetic issues.
