I was a patient of Dr Nelson when I lived in WV. He was the most kind, caring, intelligent and compassionate doctor I have ever had the pleasure to see. The issues with my knee replacement (no fault of Dr Nelson) were dealt with swiftly and effectively. If I still lived in WV, he would be doing the other knee. He is truly very gifted at what he does, and he goes above and beyond for his patients.

Ive been to Dr Nelson a hand full of times and he and his staff are always polite and courteous!!

I agree with Leah’s review. Great Dr. Horrible office. Doesn’t not have the clean, sterile crisp medical feel. Signage is nearly non existent. The facility in general is in terrible need of upgrades. Not so accommodating to folks in wheelchairs, or on walkers/crutches. Was not a pleasant office experience but we really liked Dr. Nelson.

Bedside manners on dr. Nelson is 10/10, he knows what he is talking about. He will listen to you in a professional manner.

Dr Nelson is a very excellent Dr! He has done knee replacements on both of my knees, treated me for a broken tibea and now a broken foot. His bedside manner is impeccable and he is a very caring and understanding Dr. I totally recommend him for your orthopedic needs!

Dr.Mathew Nelson is an excellent OrthopedicDr. He listens to his patientsHe is through and does treat you with respect. His staff is kind and very helpfulI would highly recommend him.

I had surgery for severe Carpal Tunnel in both hands at the same time (at my request). Dr. Nelson did an amazing job and completely freed me from the pain in my hands. Unless you suffer from carpal tunnel, it is difficult to understand the horrific pain associated with it. The surgery went smoothly and I had no problem with recovery. Thank you, Dr. Nelson!

Great place and Dr. Nelson is a great doctor . He’s done two surgeries on me . Tore both my acl in both knees . Just had surgery last week on my right knee acl repair . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I absolutely adore Dr. Nelson!! I have been in so much pain for months that I couldnt even describe it, Ive had 3 x-rays!! Nobody could figure out what was wrong with me, acted like maybe I was a junkie and just didnt worry about it. I went to him yesterday, all he had to do was feel where I was hurting and knew exactly what was wrong! He gave me a shot in my left wrist and one on my right hand, it hurt like hell after the numbing wore off, but I get up this morning, go grab a drink and realize I can use my hands!!!!!! It had been months since I could grip anything with my right hand. If you or anybody you know needs an orthopedic doctor I highly recommend seeing him!!!

Great surgeon, horrible office. 3 stars only because I liked Dr. Nelson so much. On the rare occasion his staff does answer the phone, they are rude and combative. I have had to advocate for my own healthcare since the moment I walked in, including a situation which has delayed and impaired my healing. I do not recommend this place and will never use him again. It’s sad, because he is a very kind man and it seems he did a great job with my surgery. The pre-op and post-op have been a nightmare. I have managed a surgical practice and would never let my staff treat patients this way.

He is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend him. I’m 100% going to continue going to him. 👏🏼👏🏼💯💯

In Beckey we have a few select Dr.s we count on ! Dr Oya ,Dr Robin Cox and everyone in Raleigh Cancer center and Dr Dowdy are who I mostly deal with ! Im sure I forgot ! Great Doctor . everyones very friendly.

He has always treated me exactly how i needed and im in and out quickly but dong feel rushed.

This so called doctor is a butcher after three surgeries by him on fractures I am now in a wheelchair when I was previously an avid hiker and backpacker.

I dont like him
