I was recommeded by a friend when my usual hearing center in another city did not respond to any form of contact during the Covid pandemic. I was in need of immediate assistance for a hearing aid that was not working. After a few months with Able Hearing I felt like family. I am so happy with the new features including blue tooth for my phone. Staff is well organized and everyone very knowledgeable and helpful.

Came in for a free hearing exam, wound up not needing any additional follow up.The facility was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, professional, and very informative. The exam itself was very comprehensive.Before we started the test I got a brief spiel about how hearing aids work, the varieties and programs they had to offer, and their price points. There was no pressure or sales pitch at all, I just got the impression that they were giving me the info ahead of time so if I did need a hearing aid it wouldnt be too much info all at once.Was very pleased with my experience!

I noticed my aid was not functioning very well. Was very worried I would need a new one. The office worked me in quickly. They fixed the issue while I was there.No charge!! Wahoo!

I was ready for my next set of hearing aids and was looking for a new provider when I found Able Hearing. I really appreciated the opportunity to try different hearing aids before making a decision. Karl cares about the best solution for you; I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. Loving my new hearing aids and really enjoying the Bluetooth/phone functionality. I was in the ocean fishing a couple weeks ago and had a very clear conversation with someone. I now prefer talking through my aids vs. my desk phone. I also enjoy listening to media through the aids as well. Its been a great experience working with Able Hearing.

I came to Abel Hearing because they were the only Hearing Aid provider acceptable to United Health Care, my Medicare Advantage Plan provider.That said, Abel Hearing has been an excellent company to work with, spending several hours over 3+ visits to help me determine what was the best product for me and to customize my hearing aid solution to my hearing and communication needs.I chose a rechargable, programmable Unitron receiver-in-the-ear device that supports 3 different hearing programs and connects to my mobile phone via bluetooth. The staff at Able Hearing let me take the demo devices home for several weeks to test various configurations under real conditions until I was satisfied. My mother recently moved to Arizona with me. I thought we had time remaining on her warranty, so we went to see Karl at the Beaverton office on a visit back to Portland. Even though we were not going to buy another set from Able Hearing since we dont live in the area, Karl gave us his full attention and assistance. The hearing aid manufacturer warranty had run out (2.5 years), but Able Hearing adds an additional 6 months of its own at no extra cost. She fell within the six months, so Karl took good care of us. He treated us well despite the fact that we would not be a future sell -- it was the type of ethical behavior that is often lacking today.

My 91 year old Mom has been a patient of Karls at the Beaverton Clinic for about 8 years. Over that period of time her hearing has steadily declined. With each visit Karl maximizes her current device or gives suggestions on the next level required. Moms hearing loss is profound but with her latest devices she is able to participate in conversations, listen to music and TV and overall feel like she is part of her community. I drove from Oregon City to the Beaverton branch to get a simple tube for my hearing aid and they said they would not help me unless I had an appointment. Will not go there for any reason, they just laughed at me.Jack Derrick

Karl is meticulous in testing and finding the best hearing aid within my budget. From the initial hearing test, to the three follow-up fit ups, Karl was patient to explain the various features and settings to make sure my hearing aid works best. It was significantly better than my earlier experience at the mass marketer of Costco. I would highly recommend Karls service.

My opinion about that firm and all their employees that are familiar with my problems is a BIG 10!Karl and his secretary have always at my service, and I have at times plenty complaint. Latest is that I have a cochlear implant, that should be cooperated with my Resound BTA hearing aid. I I purchased my Hearing aids 3 years ago and have been very pleased. The follow up service has ben excellent as far as cleaning and maintaining the aids to keep them in peak performance.

Small office atmosphere. Informative and helpful people to help with hearing problems, cleaning of hearing aids, and batteries available too.

I had a very thorough and complete exam at AbleHearing.
