My loved one has been there for 6 months with consistent blood pressure readings of 188/92 for the past 6 months. This is life threatening. They wont give him blood pressure medication. The medication that they currently have him on for anxiety (he knows something is wrong and is upset) causes him to retain water and makes his blood pressure worse. They make a lot of money from his estate if he dies. He will die of a stroke soon I fear if they dont address his blood pressure. This place is a death trap.

Farmington Square provides excellent care for my sister. She has been there now for 2 years. She loves the food, the friendly care by all the staff, the activities, especially bingo, chair exercises, singing, and the monthly concert from some great Portland area musicians. They take her to all of her appointments and Rob, the medtech/driver and activities coordinator, has given her exceptional care, he goes out of his way, like stopping to get her a treat on the way back from doctor appointments. The staff truly cares. My sister is the happiest she has been in years because of the extraordinary care she is receiving from all the staff.

The folks at Farmington Square treat my father like family. They think about his needs before I do. They take care of so many little things that I could never do such as keeping him stocked with his favorite candy and always making certain he is entertained. He tells me frequently how much he loves where he lives.

Where do I start? The care staff is great, but the company is terrible! The cost for living is insane, the management was irregular and rude, and the work ethic was SHAMEFUL! When I asked a care member how they enjoy working there, they stated that they are underpaid, over worked, treated unfairly, SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, and have no resources for the tools they need. Now, I understand that during Covid it is a dysfunctional time to be working with senior residents, but hearing how unhappy the staff is and how many issues they have, I would never trust my mother to be cared for in this facility! By far, the worst place to live and will not recommend this place to anyone, especially someone with a family member with memory issues! If the staff is not happy, then I know my family will never be! DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE CARED FOR! SUCH A TREMENDOUS WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!!!!! I also witnessed multiple staff members not wearing masks while around the residents and consider that inappropriate and careless to the residents! If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 10, I would!

My dad was a resident at Farmington Square for 10 months (he recently passed away). I was always very pleased with the care he was given. Staff was great and kept me informed to any situation that I needed to know about. A shout out to Becky, Corey and Megan in particular. The volunteers were awesome too. Thank you all for taking such good care of my dad.

My Brother and I moved our mom here. She started in B building where she could do most of her daily ADLs herself. I loved it. It was very nice. Everyone that worked in the building were very caring. As she started to decline get a bit combative and exit seeking they wanted to move her to the Memory Care Building. It was very upsetting for me but once she got settled it was so much better for her as they stay busy, have all kinds of activities. I thought she would just decline as she was still really social but she blossomed with all the constant activities that I thought she would hate! The staff here are awesome! Always kind even when my mom was very agitated and not so nice🙄I will forever be thankful we picked Farmington Square! Thank you to all of the staff for making her feel loved.

My mom was a resident at Farmington Sq memory care for 4 years until she passed 2 weeks ago of Alzheimer’s. Everytime something would happen to my mom a fall etc... they would always call me to inform me of any other emergencies. I was impressed with the workers as the residents hair started growing because of Covid the aides took the time to braid the women’s hair and often gave my mom & others a manicure and also with fingernail polish. I also noticed how the aides where caring with love for the residents. The place doesn’t smell of urine and is clean. While my mom was on hospice I was able to go into the building to meet with hospice nurses. They commented on how the atmosphere was bright and not dark. All the residents were out in the living room listening to music or watching TV not stuck in their rooms. They also have a place set up for Skyping with your loved ones while Covid prevents us from visiting. Every time I called they were always pleasant and told me to call as much as I needed to.The last week I was there saying goodbye to my mom some of the aides came into her room to say goodbye to her. I was really touched by their love for her.I’m sure you can probably find something to complain about but I have nothing bad to say about the employees at Farmington Sq. they are doing their best even management was always great & the residents nurse was great and called anytime she was concerned about my mom.If you are looking for a safe & loving place this is it!THANK YOU FARMINGTON SQ EMPLOYEES FOR LOVING AND TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY MOM!!!

My mom has been here since 2013. We love this place and especially the caregivers and all the the staff. They are like family to her. Everyone is kind and they do everything they can to make each day interesting. She is very disabled but they make sure that all her needs are met. I can rest easy and know she is safe, comfortable and happy.

My mother has been calling Farmington Square Beaverton Home for just about a month now. I knew when I first met the entire team, that mom would be in caring and capable hands. What I didnt expect (but dreamed of) was a residency that mom would be so graciously welcomed into. They understood the delicacy of transitioning to a new environment and met this with warmth, kindness, flexibility and patience. Mom receives the respect and individual support that I would hope for myself. Whether mom is tending to flowers in the courtyard, quietly working a puzzle in her room, or visiting with other resident friends, she has a sense of feeling at home, safe and loved. And for this I am deeply grateful. During this time of COVID, it is all the more assuring knowing that while I cannot hug my mom, I know she feels embraced.I want to add that the hands on attention and personal communication with the Executive team post signing moms Admission Contract didnt stop once we committed. Adrienne and Ashley have continued to be fully engaged in and with mom. Each and every one of their skilled, thoughtful, caring and friendly care team is extraordinary! If I try to name everyone I fear I will miss someone, so to each of you, THANK YOU! You are AMAZING!

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic I have had very little personal contact with the staff that takes care of my wife. But the interactions I have had over the phone and on Skype and Zoom have been great. Both the care givers and administrators have been both professional and compassionate both to my wife and myself. They have left me with no doubt that I made theright decision placing her with Farmington Square. I look forward to the day I can visit my wife in her room, hold her hand and also get to know those taking care of her. Until then I take comfort in knowing she is being kept safe and is well cared for.

We moved our mother to Farmington Square after a terrible experience at another memory care facility. The difference was like night and day. Mom was at Farmington Square for about a year before she passed on and we feel the care she was given was excellent from the day she arrived to the day she passed. All of the staff here deserve a big thank you for the way they handle their difficult jobs. The love and care was especially evident in the last few days of her life. We are grateful for all that you did.Warm wishes,Mike

The hard work of a caregiver often goes unnoticed, but today I’d like to tell you about my fabulous experience during my visits at Farmington Square. Every time I come in to visit I come across Maria (Wellness Director) and Cathy ( Receptionist) greeting me with a smile and treating me with respect. I always notice how much fun the residents are having with activities going on all throughout the day. Maria is always patient and compassionate with her residents it show’s that Maria is very loved not only by her residents but also her staff. Care givers are always smiling and say how happy they are to be part of Maria’s team.I definitely recommend Farmington Square Beaverton. I can assure your loved one will be in loving caring hands.

Ive been working at Farmington Square Beaverton for over 13 years. I started in care and have moved through several different positions over my time here. They encourage everyone to continue their education and grow, offering new continuing education courses monthly as well as tuition reimbursements. It has always been a warm and inviting place for me to come and work, and a true home away from home. They have great benefits for the care team that continues to get better as the years pass. Farmington square is a wonderful community whether you are looking for a place for your loved one, or looking for an employer. While it is part of a ever growing and expanding group of communities, it is still a family owned and oriented business. The owners of the community come through frequently and are always working on improving and updating not only the grounds but providing new technology and tools for the care team to provide the BEST care for their residents. You can tell they truly care about what they are doing, and their mission. I know of families that have returned multiple times and have had two, three or even four of their loved ones reside within the community over the years, simply because of the great relationships they had formed with the care team, and the quality of care they received. There are many people that continue to come for events at the community years after their loved one have passed on because they are a part of the family now. I recommend to come in for a tour if you are looking for a place for your loved one and you will see why they are the best choice in senior living.

My In Laws are here and the staff has not taken good care of them at. A month ago Dad fell late at night and rang his call button and no one came in until the next morning. When he calls them to go to the restroom they don’t come for about 30 minutes if at all. He is blind and has dementia so it is very important to be there for him. For the cost of this place you would think they could hire more personal!

My father was at the Memory Care unit at Farmington Square for the last 7 months of his life. The staff were all wonderful, caring people who took excellent care of Dad. They not only took great care of Dad, but they were also wonderfully caring and supportive of my mother. Wed had Dad in another facility that looked fancier, but the staffing ratio was terrible and we got him out. We were so happy to find the loving care at Farmington Square!

My wife worked for this company and put a lot of effort into her work the residents were amazing and the families were incredible. The staff and management was awful they allow a multitude of no call no shows from people and dont fire them. They allow a manger to have one of the employees live with her and doesnt care that he shows up late or that he no call no shows. They dont ensure that everyone gets a lunch break and doesnt pay them if they dont. They require you 2 hours a month that they dont tell you that you could get paid for it. They have too many clicks of people and if you dont fit into those they shut you out. Worst company deserves less than one star.

My mom has been at Farmington Square for 7 months now. The staff is always polite and courteous to her. They provide many activities for her and the other residents. I like how they communicate with me whenever there is a need or any change in my moms condition. They also communicate with my moms doctor and are always on top of her medical issues. It is a very clean facility. The only thing I would not rate as excellent is the food, and its okay.

My 82 year father was at Farmington Square Beaverton for almost 3 years and we never had a problem with the staff there. They were nothing but awesome. After my father had a stroke, he was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. He was having very aggressive behavior and was denied by every memory care facility that we had tried to get him into. On the day before he was to be released from the rehab facility he was in, after his stroke, we contacted Farmington Square. They came out to evaluate him and said they would take him in. From that point on, my father continued to improve. They were instrumental in helping even out his meds and make sure he was as comfortable as possible. He eventually began to call Farmington Square home. We all were very happy with the care he received there. They were kind and caring to all of the residents, not just my father. When my father was in the last stages of his life, to no fault of Farmington Square, all of the staff, even the administration, were very kind and understanding. Making sure that my father, as well as the rest of my family, were comfortable. They even invited my family to join in their staff Thanksgiving dinner.I would recommend Farmington Square Beaverton to anyone. Thanks to Teddi, Rachael, Jen, Carlos, Nancy, Steven, Alex and to the rest of the staff at Farmington Square Beaverton.I wish I could give you guys more than five stars!

First of all i would like to say i was a employee at this place. I worked hard loved my residents did my job then went home. Other co workers and management had their clicks and i wasnt in it so they made up a bunch of stuff about me saying i dont work when i would work 16 hours every weekend and cover other peoples shifts. Everyone thst works there is cold hearted for them to fire me or anyone else they are picking on. We were always really unstaffed and there rould be no med aid to care for the residents over night. I was all by myself. Oh and btw they didnt go through with this residents care plan they transferred her physically and not with a hoyer lift like they were supposed to..It was horrible disfunctional and unorganized!! There is a lot of mexicans who dont even speak english hardly so it was hard for them to train me.. I would NEVER recommend this place i was bullied and abused to much gossip as well thats all im gonna say lol
