Dr. Peterson has multiple listings on google. One is first name last, the other last name first. She is also listed on the Premier Health page where she is part of a team. I would give her 0 stars if possible. Summary: if you want a natural child birth, are against induction unless medically necessary, she is not the Dr. for you. If you want/need a c-section, still proceed with caution. Do your research, call around, ask questions before committing to a maternity/pregnancy care Doctor.

Finding a doctor is a very personal thing. You have to find someone you trust, respect, and with whom you are comfortable. Every doctor isnt a good fit for every patient. Dr Peterson is that doctor for me. I value her experience but I also feel that she listens and cares about me and my concerns. She takes the time to explain things. While these are both great things, they have unintended consequences. Because each patient gets her full attention for as long as they need, this can translate to longer than average wait times. She always seems to be running about 15 minutes behind. Try to make appointments for early morning or right after lunch to avoid that.Dr Peterson is very straightforward. I personally like being told how it is. She is friendly, but her humor is a bit of poking-fun. I could see it coming across as abrasive to someone who wants a more soft-spoken doctor.I have never had any issue getting an appointment within a few days.During both of my pregnancies, she was easy to contact after hours. The nurses got back to me quickly if I called and left a message expressing any concerns. Both of my children were delivered via csection without any problems.

I have never witness anything so sad in my career. If 0 stars were an option I would choose that. The patient was induced before 38 weeks because of baby size, though nothing had been done to predict babys size. The patient had called to ask if they were sure and Dr. Peterson insured her that that was what was needed to be done. She goes in to be induced and her cervix was barely opened and still think, they still precede with the process. After doing cyotec for 12 hours, she hadnt progressed at all. So they do a balloon to manually induce her, which works and she gets to 3.5 when the nurse pulls the foley catheter out. After a few hours no further progress is made, so they decide to start pit and break her water. Again by the following day no progress is made. Patient at this point has accepted that she was induced before baby was ready and no matter what they do, she isnt getting ready. Since her water had been broken and baby had been stressed she couldnt continue with her pregnancy and knew she would end up with a C-Section. She has them call the doctor because she wanted to talk about it, this doctor YELLS and belittles her because of her great reputation, she still request it. The finally straw was when the doctor walked in with her entire family in the room and explains that this would be considered an elective C-section and that she needed witnesses, obviously not asking the patients permission before speaking in front of these people (HIPPA Violation). I can only hope that no other patient is treated this way and bullied in the way that she was. Make sure you do your research completely before choose a doctor that is going to work with you in sure a transitional time.
