From the moment I was given my referral to visit Dr. C to see if I was a candidate for medical marijuana, the Patient Focus team made everything easy. I was able to do almost everything online, including obtain the needed medical records for Dr. C to review. The education & online test were really eye-opening & informative. I felt more certain than ever that my primary care physician had made the right decision to send me for medical marijuana. When I got in there for my actual first appointment, I found the office to be clean & the staff friendly & efficient. Dr. C did not keep me waiting, she was in with me in just a very few minutes. She clearly had actually **read** my information that had been submitted online & she asked questions that were not in any way generic or cookie-cuttered & which related directly to me & my medical conditions. She spent a considerable amount of time with me as well -- this wasnt a 10 minute in & out deal. She may not have known me when I walked in the door, but she definitely knew my case & she got to know me during that initial appointment. I cannot recommend the practice enough & Dr. C herself in particular. A very daunting & lengthy experience with a ton of hoops & procedures was made as easy as possible & I knew when I walked out of the office that this was indeed a sound medical decision for me & my particular case. Highly recommend.

The experience I had with Patient Focus is something I have since recommended to ANYONE that mentions looking into Medical Cannabis. I envisioned having to hand deliver a stack of paperwork, interacting with people understandably in chaos mode due to the newness of the Medical Marijuana program in Ohio, and for the process to take months. I was happily surprised with a completely different experience.You make an appointment online- viewing a calendar of days and times available. In my case, I knew I wanted something over 30 days out, but before booking my appointment, I did see that there were several appointments available within the same week. You receive a detailed email with the next steps- very thorough run down of what I needed to do and what to expect. The payment terms are clearly explained. There was a detailed pre-visit questionnaire that I found to be the best part of my experience. Personally, I cant collect my thoughts when I visit the doctor- so it was great to be able to write down ahead of time what I was experiencing. The questionnaire is more than just the usual new client checklist. The online course that they gave me access to was quite in-depth, and I feel confident that after viewing it, many people that continue to shun medical cannabis as a joke might change their mind and want to try it. All of these things led to an efficient visit with the doctor. The doctor had reviewed my records, the questionnaire, and made good use of our time, but wasnt too rushed. I felt like I was heard, and that my concerns were taken seriously. Once the doctor agreed that Medical Marijuana may help me, it was approximately 48 hours from leaving the office that I was able to download and print my card. Sadly, I havent gotten to use it (in Ohio) because there arent any dispensaries open yet nearby- but I can be as patient as we all have been in waiting for Ohio to finally get with the plan and legalize marijuana for medical use. I was an early patient from back in November when things werent up and running yet. I was very pleasantly surprised by how thorough she was. I had uploaded medical records that she had already read and was familiarized with upon my arrival. She was very patient and answered all my questions and the office staff itself and patient focus has kept all of their patients updated through emails, and replied quickly to any asked questions. That made what was a rocky start feel like the easy part for me. Thank you Dr. Croteau

I was one of the early patients at this facility, so things were just getting finalized. I found Dr. Croteau to be professional and thorough in her assessment. She had a large stack of my medical records and from her questions, had clearly read through it all. I appreciated that, knowing this wasnt just a rubber stamp. We discussed all the other options I have tried through the years and Dr. Croteau also made other recommendations outside of medical marijuana.

Excellent experience ! I was in very fast the appointment was easy to make and I was seen within days. I found that the Doctor was very nice very professional and took her time.

Although my experience was a bit different -- my doctors office had not sent over my information, and my information hadnt been ported over correctly, so I had to wait a bit longer to be approved because Dr. Croteau had to look over my information -- I will say that Dr. Croteau and her team were awesome. I never felt unwelcome, or like I was taking up their time and they just wanted to push me away, and I really liked that Dr. Croteau didnt just GIVE me the card.I was honestly very worried going into all of this that I would just be given the card and that was it. I wanted someone to actually look at what I have going on, and show me its not all in my head, and thats what she did. And I am super grateful for that!

Dr.Croteau is a fantastic doctor and I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a caring and compassionate medical practitioner!

Got there things went well was able to get my needs off of My Chart and get certified but still haven’t got my card from February 6 so that process is slow
