I have a terrible buildup of wax in my ears and every 6 months or so I have to have them cleaned out. I also have terrible tinnitus--ringing constantly in my ears and very loud when the wax is built up. Dr. Katz (unlike other ENT doctors Ive been to) uses microsuction to remove the wax. After an examination, it takes about 5 minutes total for both ears to be cleared. The tinnitus is still there but less prevalent. Most ENT want to use the flushing system--this takes about 8-10 attempts, is painful, and messy. Sometimes, after all those attempts they finally give up and perform the microsuction. Thanks to Dr. Katz for the great work he performs!

Very bad doctor.. terrible bed side manner. Hasn’t fixed my issue after going to him for 4 years and could seem to care less

Terrible bedside manner! I was there with my mother who recently lost her hearing. We use an app to communicate with her so that she is involved in the conversation. It is as simple as speaking into the phone and letting her read what you said. Dr. Katz would not communicate with her and we had to relay everything he said. She is the patient! He should be willing to communicate with her. Especially since he is an ENT, you would think this is not new to him! Every other Dr she has seen since losing her hearing is more than happy to communicate with her. I would not recommend him to anyone! It would be one thing if I thought he was an exceptional Dr, but I didnt even get that from him.

He was funny and very personable. He was very easy to talk to. So far so good!

Absolutely no bedside manner. We went to see him to get ear wax removed because of a blockage. He did not take the earwax out instead wants to remove my sons tonsils. He has no reason to take out his tonsils. They are NOT swollen. There is no medical reason to take out his tonsils. He would rather do a surgery on a six-year-old child instead of clearing out earwax. He must want the money.

Money hungry, will not solve your issue.

Two surgeries and Im still in pain. My problem was not corrected either. He was short with me and didnt seem to care or pay much attention. In very disappointed and will be seeing another doctor.
