I was very excited for my appointment. The procedure it self was fast and painless. Ann was very insensitive to why I was there. She made negative assumptions without knowing my full medical history. I got the feeling she was trying to sell me on more treatments instead of taking the time to get to know me and letting me enjoy my first treatment. She spoke so negatively, it ruined the whole vibe. I was there for a very sensative and personal issue. She knew that, as I explained on a phone call before the appointment. I felt horrible and defeated when I left her office. I would never return and I would not recommend her office.

Anne has been a miracle worker with my episodic back pain. She fits me in no problem when I have a flare up. I leave there with immediate relief and feel back to normal the next day. She takes the time to care for your unique situation and offered me laser therapy free of charge (completely painless and felt great!!). She even sent me home with tape and an cool pack. Anne is wonderful and I highly recommend her.

1 year, 6 doctors, and 2 acupuncturists later, I found Anne. We came to Anne 1 year into our fertility struggles and I was immediately impressed by her wealth of knowledge and could tell she was different... remember, at this point I had seen 6 doctors and 2 other acupuncturists to compare her to. She puts the Care in health care! Anne pushed for additional testing that my previous doctors (including 2 Reproductive Endocrinologists) had given little weight to or flat out ignored. Turns out those additional tests were part of the key to getting me a baby. Anne also put me in touch with other doctors she trusts and has seen success with. I wouldnt have found those doctors without her. I could go on and on about the reasons as to why you should seek out Anne but to keep it concise: If you are truly ready to for a baby and you are willing to make certain changes and follow protocols laid out by this very very knowledgeable woman, then run (dont walk) to Anne!! Im beyond elated to say that after 1 year with Anne (and 2 years of fertility struggles in total), Im finally pregnant!!!

*Long post* - but necessary. Where to even begin with Anne and Cleveland Acupuncture? Before I was referred to Anne by a friend my husband and I were lost in our fertility journey and what to do next. At the facility we were at it was confusing, you had to chase people for answers and just truly felt like another number. Cue Anne...on the first meeting with Anne and my husband I learned more about my own body and fertility then I ever thought possible. She guided us to a wonderful facility in Colorado that I am truly grateful for. She takes the time to explain things to you, what supplements to take, what you should be eating , tests you should be asking for , etc. She is truly a wealth of knowledge and so good at what she does. Fertility is NOT a quick and easy process or fix . Don’t expect to just go see Anne once and you will be fixed ... it takes time and patience and really working at to get the results you want. You need to fix you from the inside out before you can get pregnant - and as Anne says no one is infertile. I am beyond grateful we found Anne and for all she has done for us. My fertility journey is still in process but please, run to Anne now ! She’s a straight shooter and will tell you like it is - but that is what you need with fertility, no sugar coating. Fertility is truly a journey and if your struggling to conceive at all I 100% recommended Anne - I cannot say enough good things.

If you are looking for a fertility coach, fertility treatment and acupuncture, or simply guidance in your journey to parenthood, Anne is the practitioner for you. She provides comprehensive care from the initial consult through treatment and pregnancy. We came to Anne for a consult a year and a half ago after we had been dragged along by a local Reproductive Endocrinologist for IUIs that we later found out were not monitored/ done properly, and were looking for our next steps. I told Anne I wish I had found her sooner, and most of her patients that I’ve met in her office have said the same. At our consult, she looked at our history, lab work, diets, supplements, etc and made recommendations on how to improve each of these. She taught us more than any physician or medical provider had at that point. If you have been told something by a provider and want a second opinion, bring it to Anne to take a look. She will look at the bigger picture in a way that your medical provider may not. We are pregnant now, and Anne Kinchen from Cleveland Acupuncture has been a big part of our success to this point. It seems to be a common saying that I dont know where we would be without Anne, that is our case also. When we first started on our journey, we wanted a mentor who was willing to act as consultant. That is not easy to find. She also provides services, but she is flexible and you can pick and choose her services, which is also fantastic. One of the most important things is that shes accessible, which is not what we felt like when we went to the doctors in the big hospital systems. Her rates are not expensive, but I made sure I paid her for all the time she spent with us. I also compensated her time spent with Emails because I know thats time consuming and it helped us a lot, and its what we needed.Shes self-employed and theres limited things she can do by herself, but she knows the medical systems very well (including the many problems and pitfalls) and she will guide you. For example, your Thyroid levels should be in certain ranges before and during pregnancy. In our first pregnancy, that was not discussed.She sees a lot of women of all ages and a lot of situations, so she can help anybody. My wife was very skeptical that we could get pregnant at age 45 with egg donor, but we are pregnant now. Annes advice will also be very important to us as we carry the baby to delivery.

I visited Anne for help with the tendonitis in my elbow that had been plaguing me for 6 months. Acupuncture for Fertility:My husband and I had no success for several years of trying to conceive.We are older than many couples at this stage in life, and we knew we needed help. We did a few rounds of IUI at one of Cleveland’s main medical institutions, with no success. We heard about Anne through two of my coworkers who were able to conceive naturally after acupuncture treatment with Anne, but we delayed contacting her.In 2018 we decided to begin IVF treatment at that large medical institution, but on the day we were learning how to inject medication, my husband suffered a medical event that threw us for a loop. I came to Anne with a diagnosis of a chronic gastrointestinal condition and extreme symptoms. Anne spent an hour with me asking questions, reviewing my food journal, and learning my health history before we even met in person! From the start she talked through the length of treatment, ways to adjust my diet, and Chinese herbs needed to support my healing. At each appointment she asked for details and updates on my symptoms to tailor the treatment for each session of accupuncture. I had sought the care of a GI doctor locally and used the prescribed medicine recommended for a month+ with no relief. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Anne. I had been concerned for some time the my fertility doctor wasn’t digging deep enough to get to the root of my infertility issues. I read countless books, which discussed the variety of factors that can cause infertility, yet the lab work my doctor had done was so minimal and it seemed there was so much more that still needed to be explored. However, he was merely focused on throwing drugs and expensive treatments at me. Not being a doctor myself, I felt that I had to simply trust his judgment. Anne helped me with chronic elbow tendonitis which had hung on for over a month. I was experiencing daily pain with gripping anything, even a coffee mug. The cold laser and warm laser therapy took the pain away almost immediately, and the improvement lasted for a few days until I used my arm the wrong way again. After 3 more treatments, once a week, I was much improved.I was not even aware of this particular therapy as apparently it is not that common. Its painless and quick; even enjoyable, due to Annes positive vibe. I will continue these treatments to make sure it heals completely. Anne is a very skilled practitioner. Anne has excellent acupuncturist! She would help you to heal your body through your diet, making sure that what you eat is good for your body. Anne would suggest changes to what you are eating based on the results she sees. She has good knowledge about Chinese medicine too, so she uses Chinese herbs as a supplement to acupuncture. I would highly recommend Cleveland Acupuncture for anyone who has a condition that can be treated with acupuncture and/or Chinese Herbal Medicines. Anne is very experienced and knowledgeable in both acupuncture and herbal medicine, which is a rare in Northeast Ohio. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, which means that she has studied acupuncture and herbs for years. Others who perform acupuncture may have had only about a hundred hours of study. Anne has helped me tremendously with bringing my health back into balance. Dont settle for a less qualified practitioner, head to Cleveland Acupuncture instead!

Wow where do I begin? My husband & I had been on our fertility journey journey for close to 5 years with “Unexplained fertility” as our diagnosis. What do you do with that? It felt like a dead end. Acupuncture wasn’t on my radar until a family member recommended Anne (one of her friends had success within months). I called for my consult & was relieved within moments of talking to Anne as she told me I was young & still had a lot of time on my hands. I was relieved bc I was made to feel under the gun & geriatric from the language used in all of my doctors offices. Ive been seen by Anne at two other locations over the years and I appreciate the homey, elegant, relaxing vibe her office always gives. I went to Anne at Cleveland Acupuncture to increase my chances of getting pregnant, after struggling with endometriosis. She gave me a personalized evaluation and plan that included healthy diet changes, acupuncture, and supplements...and I was blessed with a healthy pregnancy and beautiful baby girl! After a year of trying to get pregnant naturally with no success, my husband and I decided to see a fertility doctor at one of the major hospitals. The doctor ordered basic labs, a sperm analysis, and an ultrasound on the first visit. The labs and imaging showed that I had mild PCOS and a couple of small uterine fibroids adjacent to the uterine cavity. The doctor then ordered a hysterosalpingogram to visualize my Fallopian tubes, which showed an enlarged uterus and possibly one blocked Fallopian tube due to compression by a fibroid. I also had a saline ultrasound. The doctor felt I was a candidate for intrauterine insemination (IUI) with Clomid. I had one cycle of IUI with Clomid and it was unsuccessful. I decided not to undergo another cycle of IUI or take Clomid, but rather ask around for advice. I was told acupuncture could help. I searched for an acupuncturist and decided to make an appointment with Anne Kinchen after reading glowing testimonials online. During our first visit, Anne spoke to me and my husband for 3 hours. Anne was thorough in her approach with us. Anne re-analyzed the lab work I had previously taken, recommended further lab studies, dietary changes and additional sperm studies. Anne was extremely knowledgeable in the medical sciences, even providing us with a research article on why women with PCOS should not take Clomid. The additional labs showed that I had really low iron stores and she referred me to a hematologist. My husband attended every visit and she referred him to a male fertility clinic. All of the physician referrals went well. Three months after starting acupuncture treatment with Anne, I was pregnant without the use of IUI, IVF or Clomid. Anne was easily accessible outside of appointment times and completely invested in helping us achieve our goal of getting pregnant by following up with us on a regular basis. After 3+ years of infertility (and being 35+ years old), I came to Anne in almost hysterics as I did not know where to turn and felt confused and unsure of how to proceed. I had no experience with acupuncture, had such a feeling of desperation to have a baby, and felt lost and scared while dealing with the doctors the past few years and questioning everything. Anne completely took me under her wing and was truly my advocate. I starting seeing Anne in the beginning of 2016. She met with me and got a thorough understanding of my medical history and immediately put me on a plan of action. She really calmed me down and focused me with what we needed to do, step by step, to get my body in the best shape to maximize fertility. She looks at the entire person and also incorporates diet and vitamins suggestions into the treatment along with the acupuncture. My husband and I followed her vitamin and diet suggestions (soooo important!) and I routinely came in for her recommended course of acupuncture. And the first person I told (after my husband) was Anne! This shows the type of relationship we had and how much trust I have in her. There was absolutely no medical intervention in the cycle I got pregnant - we had taken a break from IUIs and any kind of medicated cycles. The only thing that changed is over the course of 6 months we had followed Anne’s diet, vitamins, and acupuncture recommendations to a tee. My advice to anyone reading with this is please do not wait to make Anne your “last stop in” for fertility, make sure you see her very early in your journey! She is truly your advocate and does everything she can to educate you and look out for your best interest. I have never met anyone in the medical field who is more passionate about her patients than Anne. After receiving treatment and advice from Anne, my husband and I (35 and 45 years old) are expecting and have just made it through our first trimester! Anne was a wealth of knowledge about fertility in general -- both eastern and western medicine. Anne worked tirelessly with us to make sure we were in the best possible position to get pregnant without having to do IVF. I am a 40 year old woman suffering from PCOS trying to conceive and Anne has been truly helpful. I tried on my own for years with researching supplements and herbs to help with my problem. Regular ObGyn and chiropractors are not helpful with this. Anne was recommended by a reproductive endocrinologist I found on my own. I packed up my supplements and went to see her. My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility in 2016 and we went through a miscarriage, 3 IUIs and 1 failed IVF in 2 years. My wife and I worked for a year with the Cleveland Clinic in order to conceive a child. We were unsuccessful. After that failure we tried Anns acupuncture treatments. Today our son is 7 years old. I also have had Ann treat me for other conditions. I went to the urgent care for a situation that was diagnosed as Bells Palsy. The doctor told me it was caused by an indeterminate virus and it should go away in a couple of weeks. I called Ann and asked her if she could treat Bells Palsy. She said yes and and said it was caused by a weakness of the kidneys. She treated me and the symptoms were gone the next day.

Anne is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She treated me for allergies which Ive had most of my life. At the time I was just hoping for some symptom relief but I got way more. That was 4 years ago and since then Ive had maybe 10% of the allergy symptoms I used to have. I used to be miserable and congested for 4-6 months out of the year with multiple sinus infections and since being treated by Anne havent had any sinus infections and very minimal occasional allergy symptoms. I would recommend Anne without hesitation.

I went to Anne at Cleveland Acupuncture to assist me in TTC after several unsuccessful attempts with IVF at the Cleveland Clinic. Although ultimately unsuccessful, Anne was able to correct my erratic cycles. Anne is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding both acupuncture and nutrition/herbal supplementation and in particular, fertility issues . Unlike many other medical practitioners, she spends a significant amount of time getting to know her patients and their individual needs. She is very flexible and easy to work with.

I should start this review by saying we welcomed a beautiful, healthy, happy baby boy into this world in June 2017…that is the most important part of this paragraph!!! I sought Annes assistance in June of 2016, after my aunt recommended her. Before actively trying to get pregnant I took a very proactive approach and began by spending a year of getting my body prepared (I was 38 at the time and delivered my baby three weeks before I turned 40). I emailed Anne and set up a fertility consultation appointment, since I live in Vegas but was visiting family in Ohio, and sent her all my bloodwork before we met. We reviewed all my information at the consult appointment with NO acupuncture, because I live out of town. She suggested additional bloodwork to be done by my primary physician, added additional supplements, directed me to stop drinking, etc. I then went home and followed her instructions, implemented her suggestions, and four months later successfully became pregnant. I followed up with her occasionally throughout the pregnancy and sought her advice regarding labor/delivery as well. I can honestly say she possesses a wealth of knowledge and goes above and beyond to help her clients! Thank you Anne…I am grateful for all you did to help us bring our little one into existence!!!

I had trouble carrying babies to term since my husband and I tried starting a family in 2008. I had a miscarriage, then a baby, then two miscarriages, then a baby and all I wanted was one more baby. After 4 miscarriages straight, I was afraid that a third baby wasnt in the cards for me. I had been seeing a fertility doctor who said that all I could do was either keep trying, since I obviously could carry a baby, or I could do IVF so that I could select the good embryos to implant. I was willing to try anything beyond doing that, as it seemed so backwards to go through all of that when I had NO problem conceiving. I saw Anne after the fourth miscarriage in February, all four ending with a heartbreaking ultrasound near week 8 where there was no heartbeat. During my consultation, it was apparent that she was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She sent me to a new doctor who did a battery of blood tests. Annes first instinct was that I was probably having an issue with my Thyroid. After I saw the doctor in March, it was discovered that I did have a thyroid issue, which could be preventing me from carrying to term. I was put on Thyroid medication and was told once my thyroid was stabilized, that we could try again to have a baby. I saw Anne weekly during this process to get my temperatures where they needed to be, to help make my period more consistent and to work on my egg quality with the diet. In April, my thyroid levels were acceptable to begin trying to have a baby. I got a positive pregnancy test in May and was cautiously optimistic, but still really nervous. At 8 weeks, I went to get an ultrasound and saw a heartbeat! If I had stuck with the previous doctor that I was working with, I would have probably continued to miscarry and ended up spending a lot of money and time on IVF, which probably wouldnt have worked either. I am so thankful to Anne for her help!

Anne knows her stuff when it comes to foods, diet, nutrition, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and vitamins. I have learned a great deal from her regarding foods and nutrition; most of the topics we review end up coming out in magazines months later. That is just the thing though - she is not trendy or someone that believes in fads - she practices tried and true methods and can help you with basically any health problem. She specializes in female fertility and helping to get pregnant - thanks to her I have a lovely niece! Personally, I had some symptoms from colon inflammation, and she helped me with herbs, treatments, and specifically foods and recipes.

My husband and I started going to Ann 19 years ago. At that time, there were about 5 acupuncturists in the Cleveland area. My husband interviewed them all and Ann was by far the most informative. His purpose was to seek an alternative treatment for a medical condition. Ann suggested a plan that he still incorporates in his daily routine. We have come to believe in the value of acupuncture so much that we are treated by Ann prophylactically on a biannual basis. Ann carefully assesses our medical condition and treats us accordingly. Just within this last year, Ann treated me for a pelvic injury and then referred me to a Physical Therapist. Both saved me from considerable and constant pain. My husband had rotator cuff surgery this year, and in addition to heeding the instructions of the surgeon, we sought out a treatment plan by Ann. Her advice as well as the treatment has saved my husband from being permanently disabled.

I am a first time nursing mom, ever since I had my baby my period cycle was messed up. I was constantly staining and bleeding heavy periods way to often. I began to see Anne a few years ago when I was going the change of life and experiencing infamous hot flashes . I didnt want to go the hormone replacement therapy route and experimented on my own with teas, OTC medications, and info I found on the internet. Cant exactly remember how I came in contact with Anne but am sure glad I did! I distinctly remember that my first acupuncture session was on a Saturday and by Thursday of the following week, I had noticed a dramatic decrease in the number and intensity of the hot flashes. I remember seeing her for a 2nd visit shortly thereafter and then didnt see her again for about 9 months. In total, I think I had 4 visits over 2 years and even though I experience them now and then, they are no way near the intensity of what they were at the onset. I cant say enough about having acupuncture for hot flashes--it works!

I found my way to Anne after emotional months of trying infertility drugs with no success. The doctors answer to my infertility were simply unexplained infertility as none of my bloodwork pointed to PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid, etc. Anne quickly assessed my eating habits, and strongly emphasized a change in my diet. She also suggested supplements to use for both my husband and I. Within 6 weeks, I became pregnant! Anne also treated me for my allergies and sinuses, and heartburn. This is the best I had felt in a long time. I found Anne to be very knowledgeable, caring, and personable. I am sure I will be visiting again in the future!

I contacted Anne for help with what at the time was believed to be a blocked tube shown on my first HSG. She confidently replied with a handful of information on tubal issues and how to treat it naturally. We met at the consultation and Anne combed through my diet, supplements, and previous test results looking at the big picture. Her explanation and directions were clear and detailed and she was always available for all of my questions. I followed all of her suggestions and received several acupuncture treatments. We were seeing a fertility specialist with the goal of natural IUI. I had a repeat HSG several months after the first because it was thought the block was caused by spasms. And that was most likely the case because each side was open and looked good. After a natural IUI cycle, Anne let me know the blood tests my doctor should do to ensure the IUI would be successful. I had to ask my doctor to do these tests but I am so glad I did because without Annes knowledge and perseverance my thyroid would not have supported the pregnancy and it was going to require medication. Anne knows what tests are needed that may get overlooked. She is very easy to talk to and truly cares about her clients. She is such a pleasure to work with! Anne has made a big difference for me. I have been having significant pain and difficulty walking due to leg swelling from a combination of breaking my leg over 7 months ago and being pregnant. Traditional options (rest, elevation, compression stockings, ice) were not making much of a difference so I decided to look into acupuncture. Anne was recommended to me by a co-worker who had treated her for pregnancy related carpal tunnel syndrome. Even after the first treatment from Anne I noticed a difference in my ability to walk, my swelling and my pain level. At first I went every week but now no longer have to go that frequently. Anne not only did not push me to come more frequently but had suggested trying to cut down to less often since I was doing better which I think is a sign of great integrity. I definitely would recommend her to others (and already have)!

After trying for over a year, taking medications, and having been diagnosed for “unexplained infertility” by RE, I decided to try Acupuncture treatment. I started Anne’s treatment in April 2017 and after just 4 months; I am now pregnant.Before seeing Anne, my husband and I reached out to other Acupuncturists in the area with basic questions to understand how the treatment would help. After 2+ years of infertility and then working with an infertility specialist with no luck, I began to see Anne. Let me start by saying I can’t say enough positive things about Anne when it comes to her knowledge, guidance, and support with regards to infertility and her patients. I came to Anne in January of 2016 with the diagnosis of unexplained infertility after 1 ½ unsuccessful years of trying naturally. I was 32 at the time so I had time on my side but I’m also a very impatient person and my emotions got the best of me. So despite great results with Anne, we decided it was best to go our separate ways after 4 months of acupuncture treatment. Fast forward through 3 rounds of clomid, 2 IUIs, and a disastrous IVF cycle I found myself in a complete state of desperation and on the verge of giving up on my hopes of ever having a family.The only person I felt like I could turn to was Anne. Not only did she welcome me back with open arms, she had me in her office the day after I called her for an acupuncture treatment and a 2 hour long discussion on how to move forward. After being on birth control for ten plus years, I had decided to come off the pill and try for a baby in the near future ( 1-2 years) after being off the pill for a whole year my period never returned . I went to my annual pap with my midwife and she casually threw the word poly cystic ovarian syndrome at me and told me there was nothing I could do but go back on the pill! Going back on birth control would be putting a big fat bandaid on the real issue! My midwife also told me to worry about it when I actually wanted to try for a baby. My husband and I visited Anne after suffering with infertility for just over 1-1/2 years. I was about to be 37 and my husband 38. Time was not on our side. We had been diagnosed with “unexplained infertility” and already had 3 rounds of failed IUI’s with Clomid. Our RE was pushing IVF as our next step, but we just weren’t ready to go down that path yet. Plus, unexplained infertility was not a good enough explanation for me! And, she was right! We were pregnant in the spring, just as she told us in our first visit!I cannot say enough about Anne. The knowledge she has for infertility patients is better than any doctor I had visited or book I had read. She really cares about her patients, and out of the 5 or so different types of doctors that I saw throughout this journey, she is truly the one that I trusted the most and the only one who was able to give us the results that we were looking for! She makes herself available for you around the clock for any questions you have. She really helped me to feel that I wasn’t alone on this journey, as I know it definitely feels like at times.We followed her instructions on supplements, diet and acupuncture treatments exactly as she said! I saw Anne Kinchen on several occasions for help while TTC. She was friendly, knowledgable, understanding and flexible, which I appreciate considering I was driving quite a distance for appointments. While my treatments didnt fix the problem, she educated me on nutrition and supplement information that has changed my life. Ann was recommended to me by a family member during my time of trying to achieve pregnancy. I was going to another local acupuncturist and felt I was not getting the level of expertise in fertility that I wanted and needed. I started working with Ann right when I stared my first IVF cycle. I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable, caring and kind Anne is! I came (from another city) for acupuncture treatment right before and right after my egg retrieval for my first IVF cycle at Cleveland Clinic. All of my eggs fertilized and I went back for an acupuncture session two hours before I had 2 embryos transferred. Shortly after having the embryos transferred, I returned to Anne for another acupuncture session, to help the embryos to implant properly. She advised me to talk to my endocrinologist immediately about monitoring my thyroid issue closely. When I talked to my endocrinologist, she told me she didnt need to monitor me closely, and I foolishly listened. I became pregnant, but at 10 weeks (after seeing my babys little heartbeat on the ultrasound screen), I endured a miscarriage and I was devastated. After much prayer and discussion, my husband and I decided to have 2 more embryos transferred. We went to Anne again right before and right after having our embryos transferred. I told Anne what happened with the last pregnancy and she listened compassionately, asked me questions, and urged to me demand closer monitoring. She told me exactly which blood tests to ask for and the exact frequency. She also told me what I should eat, and what I should do for the weeks following the embryo transfer. Anne told me in no uncertain terms that I should seek another endocrinologist if mine was unwilling to cooperate. I took her advice seriously this time and when my endo wasnt willing to do what I asked, I moved on to a doctor who would (I had to be a bit pushy, but it was worth it!) I became pregnant with fraternal twins! At 6 weeks, I began bleeding heavily, rushed to the ER and found out I had a SCH near the sac where baby B was growing. Because I was not able to travel to Beechwood, I emailed Anne and she told me exactly what to tell a local acupuncturist to do, in order to help resolve the blood clot. After having that treatment and being on bedrest for 5 weeks, the SCH was gone! I went on to carry my twins to 36 weeks and I gave birth to a little boy and little girl in July. After almost 6 years of secondary infertility, we have our miracle babies! I am so glad that I listened to Anne and that she was so willing and helpful. She encouraged me to be proactive about my health and that gave me the courage to be proactive throughout the entire pregnancy, which ultimately ended up saving my sons life (I had to really push to have them delivered at 36 weeks, after the twins had abnormal tracings at 5 different monitoring appointments). I am so glad I found Anne!

Anne Kinchen is extremely dedicated and passionate about her work as a licensed acupuncturist and chinese herbal medicine practitioner. She completed a four year training program which is two years longer than what is necessary. She has always been willing to work me into her schedule and discuss her holistic views of what action will be most helpful for me, including lifestyle, nutrition, herbal medicine and acupuncture treatments. While I have a chronic condition (menieres disease) that will not likely resolve completely, my medical doctor has been very surprised that it not only has not worsened but also has improved. He said he doesnt see patients that improve. I am an exception. I highly recommend working with Anne.

I went to Anne to prepare for my FET via the Cleveland Clinic fertility center. I was very excited because I had already had a daughter via IVF and felt this time a little extra help would be nice. She immediately started being very negative regarding me going to the Clinic even though I had my daughter through CCF fertility center and then began stating my doctor Cynthia Austin was not great and she has other people that she works with that would be better. Then she began her scare tactics of worse case scenarios, and how she is better than my RE. I understood that since she was a private practice she has to do what she has to do to keep clients and make them trust her. Yet it was way to negative for me and I explained that, yet I kept an open mind as this was my first time getting acupuncture. And again I could tell it was her insecurities of what she is not or her animosity she has with the Clinic that was driving her tone and disgust of my fertility center choice, she literally told me she hated the Cleveland Clinic.. for my first appt.. it was a little off putting for sure. Yet the straw that broke the camels back was how she got offended when my doctor did not think I needed 1 of the 4 tests she recommended. And after my first session of acupuncture I felt funny so I sent her an email with my concerns and to tell her what my doctor stated. She responded via email about how I am not going to be successful with my pregnancy because my doctor is cherry picking what tests I should take and how I was not open to acupuncture basically having a full blown tantrum. I was literally 2 weeks away from my transfer and she completely loses it and sends me an email full of negativity. It was so unprofessional, she could of prepared me more for after care for the acupuncture, she could of said that is all normal, she could of reassured me, she could of educated me as I have never had acupuncture and what I read prior and after her nasty email it was all normal. Yet she was so offended by my RE not agreeing with her she flew off the handle. Everything she told me to get tested I requested, my RE agreed with all of them except one based on my history and personally called me to give me details on why. Unlike Anne who could not take two seconds to put her ego at bay and be professional. I do not doubt she is a good Acupuncturist but her negative attitude and ego just was not for me. Professionalism is everything and I understand that many people will excuse a bad bedside manner if you get pregnant in the end, yet for me its inexcusable. She should be able to work with any doctor I choose. I ended up blocking Annes email because of course she went on an email rant with several emails and I chose not to respond to any of them because I was just so shocked by her response and it truly felt like her issues were not about me getting pregnant but her ego being bruised... so sad.. I was done with her after that..

Being of advanced maternal fertility age my midwife suggested I see a fertility specialist to rule out infertility and explore the options available to me. A year was spent getting monthly ultrasounds, bloodwork, clomid and letrozole in an effort to boost my chance at successful IUIs. After 4 unsuccessful IUIs, the last involving shots of Gonal-F and my doctor recommending IVF because time is running out, I Googled holistic fertility treatments. In this search I came across Anne Kinchen of Cleveland Acupuncture. After a lengthy phone conversation with Anne, I scheduled a consultation for my husband and I. She discussed acupuncture and the importance of diet. I already consider myself a pretty healthy, holistic, organic person but as it turns out, definitely not on the level that was best for my goal of getting pregnant according to Annes standards.My adventures with Anne began with weekly acupuncture treatments, 3 diet journals, and charting my daily basal body temperature. I was super excited to share my first diet journal. I just knew she was going to give me an A! Oh no! Anne looked up at me with that look and destroyed my entry. I was shocked. As she explained to me, the amount of sugar and glycophosphates that I was consuming were hormone disruptors. Too much fruit and too many wheat products. Plus the daily snack sized snicker was a no-no. Needless to say, my diet journal got a C- from Anne.Changing my eating habits was probably the most difficult part of my journey. You see, my husband and I use to go out to eat to all the trendy spots in Ohio City and Tremont. We were too tired after work to cook and going out to eat was a social event for us, we really enjoyed this.We weren’t overeaters just consumers of non-organic food choices that so many restaurants offer. The change was more difficult than I realized. But like anything else, the new diet became part of my daily routine and gradually became manageable and enjoyable.My mornings began with a VEGA One smoothie with organic almond milk. This product is not cheap but Anne approved the contents. I consumed about 60 - 100 ounces of water with fresh squeezed lemons throughout the day. According to Anne the lemon was enough fruit for one day. For a snack I would eat almonds, walnuts, cashews. For dinner we would have a huge salad with protein and a warm vegetable like asparagus. For an added crunch on the salad I pan roasted pumpkin seeds, almond slivers, and coconut flakes. The dressing was balsamic and olive oil. For variety, I made zucchini pasta and would make some sort of organic chicken or grass fed beef product like a chile. This way of eating became part of my routine. Without Annes guidance and recommendations I would still be eating out. A good recommendation for eating out is Townhall in Ohio City and Rebol in public square. They have organic and non-gmo choices on their menu.The acupuncture journey lasted from January 2016 to August 2016 because in August we found out we were expecting. Thanks to the diet choices, basal body temperature monitoring, and weekly acupuncture treatments from Anne I proved you can still conceive at an advanced maternal age (if you have no uterus, ovary and egg count issues) if you focus and put your mind to it. Had I listened to the fertility specialists I would have attempted IVF a long time ago. Something was telling me this was not the path for me to walk.Should you have the opportunity to seek out Anne’s advice for fertility consider yourself lucky. And as you are sitting in her chair discussing your path, maybe you’ll look up at her baby board and see my baby as I used to do every time we would consult about my progress. I came to Anne after going through infertility for 3 ½ years. I had been referred by a friend who had success from her treatments. I had gone through a miscarriage, two surgeries to repair a septate uterus, multiple rounds of injectibles with IUI and many other tests. I also was diagnosed with endometriosis and was experiencing much pain from that. Right off the bat, I could tell Anne really knew what she was talking about and she is truly an expert. In our first appointment, she spent over an hour talking to my husband and myself about her treatment approach (including nutrition, herbal supplements, acupuncture, tracking my cycles, etc.). Cleveland Acupuncture is very good at diagnosing problems and coming up with solutions for them. Anne is the only person who determined that my abdominal pain was caused by what I was eating and the imbalance between the yin and yang foods and then treated it with both herbs and acupuncture. Regular doctors and cat scans could not determine the cause of my abdominal pain, and the western medical doctors did not know how to fix my pain either. I was trying to get pregnant for 2years and tried everything from clomid to iui to ivf. so before my ivf cycle I went to Anne and she was of a great help throughout it. She is knowledgeable and knows whats shes doing. She gave me a special diet for my case. She was a great support for me. Totally worth the money and time consumed. She is very honest and straight to the point and will not sugarcoat anything that may upset you. She would be very honest for your own good. So be prepared for this and remember that it is for your own good and that she really knows whats she is doing. She will also work with your doctors plan and try to enhance things and how you respond to their medications. It was an awesome experience and I got my bfp with Anne and ivf. Finally Im pregnant!

Ive gone to her for over twelve years for many issues, including stress, neck and back pain, type II diabetes, nutrition and supplement advice and she has helped me with all of them.When I started seeing her I had health issues that I had been dealing with post a military injury and I just figured after dozens of doctor appointments, physical therapy and medications it was normal and this was a good as it was going to get. I was suffering with chronic pain, fatigue and I was over medicated with pain meds.
