The services at palisades were superb. Dr. Modi is an amazing surgeon. Did cataracts in both eyes separated by one week. Results were equal to or better than what he said would happen. Vision is now much improved. He was generous with both his time and services. The office staff was efficient and professional in both intake testing and administrative activities. Experience could not have been better

My husband and I are very happy with the outstanding service we received yesterday at the Bayonne location from Dr. Modi, Jenny and the rest of the staff. You all went above and beyond  and made us feel comfortable. Thank you! We will definitely keep coming here. My hubby is finally getting his glasses next week

Dr. Modi did an awesome job with my cataract surgery. No complications no pain. Now only need over the counter reading glasses sometimes. I also received excellent service during each visit. In the month of February and March 2021 was my surgery.

This is the worst eye doctor organization ever. The people are not friendly and the service is horrible. I have an appointment at 11:00AM and I did not get to see doctor until 12:30pm.. I do not recommend this place to anyone…

I have had nothing but pleasant encounters with the front desk staff at the Bayonne office. Mydalis, Krystal and Jen are extremely professional, pleasant and helpful. Mydalis is an absolute sweetheart, she is such a friendly girl. I would recommend coming to the doctors office as Dr. Panariello is an excellent optometrist.

Doctors are great, however the optician is horrible. I miss the old Optician, Christine. She was super helpful. They now have a woman named Lillian who is nasty, tells me shes too busy to help, never answers the phone. Note to practice- find someone better.Edited to say that the doctors/owners of the practice called and spoke to me and listened to my concerns and will handle the issues. Thanks so much for contacting me.

No, I only got a ticket for parking at the bus stop while I waited for my disabled client, who I thought would be discharged after waiting for 3.5 hours at this office. Im very, very upset with the overcrowded and overbooked appointments.Please, if you are going overlook clients offer FREE parking lots.This is such a ridiculous and terrible experience.

My mother had to get cataract surgery on both eyes and was a bit nervous, Palisades Eye was helpful and courteous and Dr. Modi was excellent made my mother feel very relaxed and reassured. Dr. Rau examined her post surgery and is very professional. Also thank you to the great staff at Riverdrive surgery center where the surgery took place couldnt ask for a better experience. Highly recommend this business.

I wouldn’t even give them a one star they don’t deserve it! All the bad reviews here are true! The staff is so rude i have never dealt with people with such bad attitude. I hope the owners are reading all these reviews and get a new staff with better customer service.

Very helpful staff and doctors! Had very serious eye pain, they were able to get me an appointment very quickly and provided consistent service and care. Doctor explained what happened, cleaned my eye, and it healed nicely after a week. Will definitely come back here.

This is in the Bayonne office....,,,My appointment was at 930 am. I arrived at 920 and was not seen until almost 11 am. The waiting area is crowded with patients and to me, it poses a high risk for the spread of corona virus. They should be aware that most of their patients clientele are elderly. Which means they have somebody with them coming to the office. They should set up appointments so that patients will not crowd in the waiting area. The doctor only spent 10 minutes with me but I don’t know why people are waiting! Dr Panariello is excellent though!

The glasses could have had a better choice but, then again insurance could be better. As far as the doctor and the service, couldnt have been better. The doctor was nice, staff was helpful. Got my glasses on time and had no hassle picking them up.

I tried to schedule an appointment for my aunt, and the girls who answer the phone are absolutely unprofessional and nasty. I cannot understand why doctors of high caliber hire these type of women working for them. Working at any doctors office requires staff to be polite and patient as they are working around peoples health!

Beware of Cruella de vil at the front desk! This woman could not be more Rude! No manners or class at all... I actually liked the doctor he was very nice but I had to let him know all about Little Ms Puss face in the front ... Terrible! Horrible customer service. Woman at check was less than helpful and Chris (woman at front) was so rude I felt attacked. I had to leave! Don’t bother coming here! Seriously there’s another eye place a few buildings away. This place is not worth the headache.

Went to this office back in 2015 and while the front staff was pleasant the doctor was not, I found him to be condescending. Well he dilated my eyes, something I had never done before, and I was blinded by the light when I left the building. He gave me no warning of what to expect and then I found out later that they should have told me to bring shades or have someone pick me up. I was disorientated for at least an hour and could not drive.

My son goes here for his medical appointments and I was considering the same, but the inconsideration that I felt turned me off. This afternoon my husband and I walked in to this office to see if this place took his insurance. My husband forget to bring his information. The two ladies in the front were about to take their lunch break and imediattely told us that they do not accept his insurance without knowing the details to begin with! We felt like we were taking up their time. Businesses forget to understand that a potential client can refer someone else to them. A good impression goes a long way! I called the office manager Kelly and as soon I told her what insurance he had she dismissed my complaint and said that it was just a misunderstanding. It seems they are more about the money then their service. Nevertheless , I told her I can see this is not going nowhere and you just lost one client (my son) and a potential client (myself). Sorry any place that does not put their clients needs first is garbage to me.

UPDATE!They finally called back regarding my surgery 1month and 10 days later 😱 and look at pic: they were in a rush. Omgoodness, I am shocked. I called them back and told them that was for March 1st and since then he is no longer my eye doctor and I went to DelloRusso and was in and out in a week with a successful lasik and the most amazing experience. GO TO DELLA RUSSO! Best service and care ever I was in patient bliss. Which makes this place seem even worse. If I could give them negative -5stars I would. Scary how awful they were.***********************************Terrible terrible experience, service and never going back.Nor will my husband.Our annual check was below par so I supposed that should of been the first indicator but I confirmed and discussed an eye surgery with Dr. Rau in which I was told as expected; we will be in touch next week regarding more tests before the 10 min procedure. Now, there have this portal in futile attempt to allow patients to access all info messages at home on the internet yet 1 week passed and nothing.2 weeks and now on the 3rd week I haven’t heard a peep from Dr. Rau, his office or any update within portal. I called after 2 weeks and a lady took down my info and apologized and said absolutely by Monday then almost another week and nothing. So I called again, and these ladies are just mediocre beyond. Talking about” oh he hasn’t been here. He’s on vacation” and that’s great truly. But as a patient my priority is the task and eye surgery at hand which should of took a 1 day tops! And the genuine unprofessionalism and neglect is quite a blow for I almost put my vision under such unworthy care.Had to share to advert any body else considering this awful place. So awful!

Called a month in advance and given appointment for Aug 31, 2018 at 9:30am. Little did know that day there are no doctors. I walked there from my home (about 9 blocks) to find out there was no appointment for me that day. I was told no doctors on Friday. Well what lame associate works there that offers appointment when the doctor is not in. The best part was I called the day before (Thursday) to verify my appointment and the lame associated verified an appointment that was not made. Well thats the last they will see of me. Thats not the way to treat a returning patient.

The front desk staffs here are very unfriendly and very unproffessional. They were trying to charge $200 for contact lens exam but when I called my Eye Insurance I found out that I only need to pay $50. Doctors office nowadays are very tricky, if they can get your money, they will, so patients have to check their insurance coverage first coz these drs offices will rip you off big time. As for this place, I will not recommend patients to go here. Obviously, most reviews here are negative and I can definitely vouch for their testimonies.

Horrible experience! Doctor wasnt very friendly. Anthony L. Panariello, MD was not to expectations. I had better luck at a Walmart Ophthalmologist than in this place. Good luck and patient beware!

I came half an hour earlier than my appointment time and was left waiting for two hours. Some of the staff here have an attitude problem. They dont know the meaning of customer service, or patient care for that matter. My previous visit here I had an encounter with one of the girls in the front desk, very obnoxious person. She skip my son who has a disability and had th odasity to tell me that the other lady son had a worst disability than my child and I had been waiting for an hour already. This is my last visit to this place. Very unprofessional.

Staff unprofessional, always an issue. Scheduled appointment you would think that you would be given the Dr that has been treating you and knows your history, wasnt an option. Staff gave Dr wrong information test had to be redone...waste of time.
