First time shopping here a d I LOVE this store.. MY favorite dept is the produce dept! Very neat and I realized. Signage in place for each product including the name of product and where its from. I am a former grocery worker Im telling you this place is special. What a GEM!!!

Love this grocery store located near the heart of Bay Village on Dover Center. Convenient and plentiful parking with drive up pick up options. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Store is always clean, well lit and organized.

It was okay. Im not too thrilled about heinens in general. Personally it is a pretty expensive store. There are items that are local and organic. But some of the things you can buy at heinens are at Meijer, Walmart, Aldi, and even the dollar store for less than half the price of what heinens expects you to spend. Its pretty terrible.

I cant understand why people shop here. Walking in, past three associates, not one greeted us or would even keep eye contact. See us, look away.Went through the store, somethings were fairly priced, other things ranged from a few dollars more to almost twice the price. But this being the ONLY grocers around, theres no choice.Towards the back, looking for ice cream, there was a cooler with steam/smoke coming out. It seemed appropriate to inform the staff, Im not a refrigerator guy, this seems odd. Brian (or Brad?) walked out, and I waved, smiled, and said Sir! with an upward inflection, implying I had a question. He looked at me, locked eyes, and raised his eyebrows- clearly acknowledging my existence - then turned around and started walking away. Are we serious. I was taken a back. I ran up to him and stepped in front, waving my hand, Sir! This is not a joke. This dude looks at me, turns around, and tries to leave!!! I cant believe this really happened. I went again in front of this dude  (heinens shirt, name badge, came from the backroom), third time, and he says o, me? Yes, you, f-tard! Your machine is doing something!!! He said it was defrosting, and continued on giving zero fudges.So got a couple more things, some burgers that were well priced, and a drink (both heinens brand, and still not cheap, but their cheapest stuff ranks bottom of fairly priced for other stores). In the checkout, our cashier did not once acknowledge us. No hello, no how are you, looked at us, and did her job. The bare minimum.Am I less valuable in a t shirt and shorts? Im sorry I didnt wear a suit for my day of adventure and activity. Roberto, the designated person to talk to the cashier the entire day, did take some breaks to ask if we wanted it in separate bags. He asked two more times, regardless of my direction of one bag, but whatever. He spoke more to me then the cashier did. I meant to not say anything at all to the cashier, and see if she would say anything, but when she handed me the receipt, I accidentally said thank you, and THEN she told me to have a good day. Not ONE word before.If there was ANY other place for me to shop, Id have walked out and gone there. They have a good setup going here.

I do a lot of my shopping here. Its not the cheapest, but certainly the best quality around in my eyes. Everything is fresh here. There are plenty of organic options for those who wish to have them. Please make sure you are a rewards card holder before shopping there though. I feel like if you are not one, the cost will shoot way up on you. I highly recommend this store. Very clean and great customer service.

Everyday they have about 4 soups to choose from and they are so good! Their broccoli cheddar soup is delicious! The sushi is half price on Wednesdays and there is always a wide variety of different kinds to choose from.

Heinens always has specialty items you cant always find in other grocery stores. They have a fantastic salad bar and the gourmet cheese section is huge with tons of choices. Most of the people that work there are long time employees and very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wares. This is my neighborhood grocery and Im a very frequent visitor. My only complaint is they close at 8:30 PM during the week and 6:00 PM on Sundays. I wish they would stay open a little later in the evenings, at least till 10 PM on week nights.

They have an excellent assortment of high quality food. The produce is beautiful, great salad bar, groceries, meats, all of it. Though I bought some beer and there is a county tax! Lousy commies. But that isnt the stores fault. I sampled the chicken chili and it was the best Ive ever had.

Really enjoy shopping at Heinens. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful, there is always a great variety of options available (including a lot of healthy ones), and the stores are always very clean.

Nice store.. but they didnt have infant formula i could find and nobody was available to help. They loaded the groceries in my car though... i suppose thats nice.. except you have no choice.

Good selection of gluten-free and healthier items, and the staff is usually quite friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of produce. Prices are a bit higher than Giant Eagle, but you really are paying for quality. The fresh flowers are great, and their fresh fish selection is usually quite good.

I live very close to this grocery store oh, and love it. Everyone is friendly oh, the store is very clean, and if you cannot find an item they will order it for you. Also have a beautiful floral department.

Most pleasant shopping experience! The staff is the friendliest ever! They are all very helpful, especially in the wine department. I received excellent advice for a sangria party I was throwing and whenever I stop in to the wine department to try something new, I cone home with a winning selection.

Heinens continues to reinvent themselves, they are adding products including hard to find items and imported items. Good fruits and veg. Fresh sandwiches. Fried chicken. This is a fairly small Heinens but they have more stock than some of the larger ones.

Love everything about this store, especially at the Holidays!! Employees need to be friendlier, especially with as much as I go there.

I have been a lifelong fan of the heinens company. The prepared foods are always really appealing and go far and beyond any of the competitors. I appreciate the produce and the restaurant generally carries more of what anyone could want than most offerings in northeast Ohio.

Lots of options and easy to find what youre looking for thanks to well placed signs but its a little more expensive than your average grocery store and there is very little room to move in the checkout lanes.

Their chocolate cake is out of this world good and baked right in house.My only complaint is that their food is too good to be true. The cake I am talking about is the chocolate truffle bomb.

I prefer the Giant Eagle in Westlake over Heinens. Especially now that Giant Eagle updated the Westlake location to a Market District. Heinens is too expensive for its low quality food and poor natural food diversification. Couldnt understand how they have the same prices as Giant Eagle with far inferior products and services. Also, its kind of dirty. Old people shop at Heinens, probably because they dont know any better. Poor old people.

Heinens are the best. The only issue was that I have trouble finding spinach dip and after I combed the whole store, the woman at the customer service desk called the deli and they had it. It was all the way across the store, and I had already gotten something else, but Ill know for next time.

Always clean and well stocked. Good salad bar. Pricey but considering the area no one else seems to mind.

I love the bakery in Heinens. I get their breads and rolls on a regular basis. The fresh vegetables are better than average and the meats are very got cuts of high quality.

If you are a calorie counter then this is the grocery store for you. The products they sell here are all low fat! Prices are on the high side. Unless you look like you are made of a million bucks, the service is mediocre at best.

A lot of nice quality foods and the best challah bread that Ive ever had! The prices are a tad on the high side but the rewards and good sales help balance that out.

Love this store, except two super unfriendly ladies who have the sample tables. But Linda (who also does the sample tables) is super nice and fun!
