I am so pleased that Dr. Acampa was my surgeon at Good Samaritan hospital. I was in so much pain from a broken ankle and severely dislocated toe. After the surgery I had two long pins/wires in the top of my big toe. I made myself sick worrying about the additional pain of having them removed. He reassured me that it wouldnt hurt and he wasnt lying (unlike the ER doctors).I appreciate an honest, no nonsense person and Dr. Acampa is exactly that. My foot is healing remarkably better and quicker than I expected.You will never feel rushed at his office. He has a good sense of humor and truly cares how you feel. His staff are great too.I hope I do not have any injuries in the future, but if I do , I will see Dr. Acampa without hesitation.

Dr Acampa is incredible. Be is always kind, caring and listens to you. I have had four injuries in the ten years. I am never happy to be hurt, but happy to be in the hands of an incredible doctor. His office staff, especially Kay, is so kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to help you and get you what you need.

My daughter broke her growth plate skate boarding one evening in early spring. I had to rush her to the hospital. And our luck Dr Acampa was the doctor on call. He made my daughters fears not so scary! and made her foot all better.. wonderful Doctor and Wonderful staff.. he is Aces in me and my families book.. Can not thank the doctor enough.....

Absolutely wonderful doctor and staff. My adult son, who has autism, was terrified to go to a doctor for his hip pain, and I convinced him to go with me to Dr. Acampa since Dr. Acampa helped me so much. I have to say Dr. Acampa and his nurse immediately made my son feel at ease with their conversation. My son loves this doctor now and will have no fear of returning for any future visits. Really amazing!

Dr Acampa is an awesome orthopedic Surgeon. He Takes care of the “whole” patient not just the fracture or the surgical site.If you see him in the office, you will never feel rushed. He truly listens to your issues and tries to resolves them. Dr Acampa is very honest and can be funny at times. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr Acampa is the best orthopedic surgeon on Long Island. Hes taken care of my family for years. Hes funny, considerate and he truly cares about his patients. My total knee replacement was perfect.

Broke my tibial plateau 2 years ago. Just last week had hardware removed....Have been a patient of his for 6+ years and would never have any other doctor touch me...He is absolutely the best orthopedic doctor/surgeon in the field.....May not have the best bedside manners but I dont care about that.....He is the most patient caring doctor in the field . Also got me to quit smoking after 30 years....God bless this man as he is the mold of what a true doctor should be...

Dr Acampa helped me when noone else could. He is very personable, he educates about what his treatment plan will be and what progress i should expect. My recuperation was exactly what he said. I am very thankful for Dr Acampa. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Acampa.

Dr Acampa and is staff did a great job on my left foot surgery. I had splintered my foot around both ankles. His surgery was amazing. I was able to walk in about 5 months. I think im lucky to be walking at all due to such a bad injury. The people in his office are very sweet and kind,they always ask how i am.I think i have 1 more visit to see him but he will not be forgotten.Thank you Dr Acampa you are a great surgeon!

I broke my hip in January 2016. Im only 48. Slipped on ice! Dr Acampa treated me conservatively, not doing surgery. He doesnt just cut to cut like most orthopedists. He is kind, professional and extremely caring. Always made me feel like I was going to be OK, and I am!

Worst office ever... on the day of my appointment i called to confirm the address before i left my house and if i didnt call...i would never receive a phone call to let me know that doctor was stuck in surgery and to reschedule my appointment....i took my business elsewhere.

Didnt bill my insurance company for 2 years! By that time they were out of my network and it cost me $4000! Refuses to help, and when I call they refuse to answer my questions. This place is full of crooks

Dr. Acampa is the best, my daughter was hit by a car. She suffered a broken femur within months my daughter was back to running. We❤❤❤ him!

I have been treated by Dr Acampa for various orthopaedic issues...from back pain to frozen shoulder torn meniscus and shattered heel. His expertise great bedside manner and Plsense of humor goes above all othersHe will not do surgery unless indicated..he thoroughly weighs out the pros and cons and discusses it with his patient. He is one of the few doctors thats in it for the pure desire to be in medicine..its never about the money..he has even gone into the office off hours to do injections in my knee. I have also worked with Dr Acampa at Good Samaritan hospital and after knowing every orthopaedic doctor on staff there he is my top choice and the doctor I use. A perk of working with doctors is knowing who is good and who not and who is the best..he is the best!He is also one of the only ortho docs that is in solo practice...ur not seeing another fill in doc or midlevel practitioner (and I am one) you see him and only him..He also has the expertise to do all joint replacements which not all ortho docs can do comfortablyIn addition he has one of the friendliest office staff Ive ever delt with anywhere!

Miss diagnosed my father and set a course of treatment that greatly exacerbated his condition. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. This man is a charlatan.

Rude,hung up on because I didnt have the name of my sons insurance who recently broke his arm all I was trying to attempt was make an appointment.

Not only is he good. He really cares about you.
