Cut was great, but parking needs work

Walk in.. asked if they do curly girl hair. Out of the 9 workers. 4 had no clients and they said no. So really. I went here before. And had a great cut .. but they straight up said NO

Oh my gosh! A few weeks ago I had a terrible haircut ( it looked like a reverse mullet) I really didnt think there was any hope other than try and grow it out! I walked into this salon and the hairdresser Alisa worked her magic and was able to transform it into a haircut I thought I would never have! Thank You so much!

Not real pleased with this salon. We came in and had some problems with head lice. Really twice with one child she had live bugs and than second timeIt was just dead eggs. Ok I get it you can’t cut her hair but than we got a call and basically banished. My son came in once with it but was fine after. I never was treated so horrible make it sound like I’m an awful mother. Place knows how to make you feel low and full of stuck up snobs

Tammy did a great job on a chunky highlight with a few colors in it as I wanted to get ready for our yearly cruise! Love my haircut too. Everyone is so friendly and it makes the time go by quickly!

Love to visit Shining Star salon. The beauticians are very skilled and friendly I smile everytime I walk into the salon. I get the latest cut and color and have never been disappointed.

I have been going here for 4 years now, and love linsey!

I made an appt for 11:30 for an updo for a wedding. So I get there at 11:20 a little early like normal, walk in and no one greets me. Not having been there before its a little awkward not knowing your stylist to let them know you are there. So, I take a seat thinking it would just take a minute until someone was free, they all were busy. A very nice older stylist finally asked who I was waiting for, told her I was waiting for Tammy or something like that for an updo. Come to find out my stylist had taken an appt that was a whole hour late and she wanted to finish before starting me! Umm, are you kidding me?! That is not my fault or problem. My hair updos take 1.5 hours not much more so thats what I alloted for in scheduling my day since I had an appt. That is just extremely bad business, the lady who was late for whatever reason should have to wait until I was done or just be rescheduled all together. By this time it was already 11:45. Luckily, at roughly 11:50 another stylist was available and had an appt slot or I would have had to wait for the lady that was hour late to be finished. What would have happened if the stylist with an open appt was booked? I would have been penalized for somebody elses mistake? Hmm, not impressed. I will say the stylist I ended up with was very nice and did a great job, Im sorry I didnt get her name. I was quoted 30.00 on the phone after stating my hair was below my bra strap on my back and I wanted it curled and half pinned back. So, going to check out I was asked for 40.00, ugh really and I of course had to tip the lady that took me unscheduled. I paid it but Tammy was going to do it for 30.00 and I think the price should have been honored since it was her judgment that caused the whole situation or she should have to have to deal with difference. My three stars are for the stylist that took me in her open appt and her skills and kindness. She works in the back right corner.
