First of all. NOBODY was wearing a mask. I went in to see someone about nausea and vomiting, I felt awful and got there right as they opened. I waited 30 minutes for them to tell me that I had to pay over $200 to be seen because of a problem with a previous visit and my insurance. Last visit they told me the same thing and had me call several numbers to get it taken care of so I could be seen. Which I did. I was in tears I felt so bad, I told them I could pay something but not the whole thing and they told me they couldn’t check me in and that I could call the billing department. I walked out crying! I’ve always had insurance I don’t understand what the problem is. I used to like this place and have no issues but I will not be going back here again and do not recommend it.

Shelly is an example of why a lot of patients have lost faith in healthcare. Too often you go to your healthcare professionals seeking answers and you leave with a bill and no real solution. That is what happens at Stat Care Clinic. She lets you get maybe one full sentence out and then bombards you with her thoughts on the matter without ever having gotten a full picture of your symptoms or a medical history. Then she will send you off with prescriptions that will treat your symptoms without ever having addressed the true cause. But, in her defense, I guess this is most places & most people in healthcare these days. No actual patience for patients. Just doing what you can to get them out of the way & move on to the next. The more you see, the more you make. After all, it’s a business.

The staff here is uneducated and ignorant. Staff are given the option to wear a mask as it is a “personal choice”. Doctor said that asymptomatic people cannot pass Covid-19. That has been TESTED and PROVEN to be FALSE. It is appalling that medical professionals can be so ignorant. When asked to wear a mask, the doctor responded with an eye roll. As a patient I have never felt more uncomfortable or rudely treated. Louisiana has a PUBLIC MASK MANDATE for a reason.

Would not even give Stat Care Clinic 1 star but had to in order to right a review. Worst clinic I have ever been to. The front desk girl was the only nice one smiling. The Nurse Practitioner was a joke. She could careless about her job. Absolutely rude, lack of skills & training. She misdiagnosed me and I got worse. Not to mention I was not even out the door yet and she was making fun of me to her coworkers. I will never go there again. Needless to say I had to go to another clinic & pay again. I have in the past been to their other clinic “Central Stat Care” and they were great. Just don’t ever go to Stat Care Clinic on Sherwood Forest Blvd.

Unprofessional . Not going to this location EVER AGAIN .I have been here a few times and even made this my primary care doctors office because they suggested that I could . I regret that .The only person who was helpful was Ms.Fran .I went in today and the nurse practitioner was rude for unknown reasons . I expressed at lease twice to her exactly what medication works for me and she agreed . I got the prescription , read over it , and saw that one of the drugs was incorrect .I politely asked the nurse what the drug was and she couldnt tell me . So I had to GOOGLE IT !Eventually the nurse practitioner came back to talk to me said it was correct , which it wasnt . So I had to GOOGLE for her what she prescribed me and what I told her I needed already .She was not eager to listen to me explain to her what medication I needed as if Im trying to be smarter than her .She did not even know which medication was which . I have been prescribed the medication before so I knew what I needed .She corrected the prescription , slid it on the desk and just walked out . I wouldnt trust her with my life .If I wouldnt have looked at the listed medications , I would have had a prescription I did not need . I will be changing doctors . The way she acted and treated me was tremendously uncalled for .

My daughter was sent in, to be tested for a covid test, her professor requested the kids that were in class, be retested as there was a positive case recently, reported. Also, the testing results have not been accurate on campus at LSU, lots of negative results, when in fact, they were positive. My daughter was SHAMED and talked down to as “ people like you and your age group are the reason why tests are running low”. I have been in the medical field myself over 25 years and I have never seen such inadequate behavior by a professional in healthcare. My daughter was positive for covid, and was told while laughing “congratulations you are positive, and can’t go home now and get your family sick.” Her medical file, was also “discussed” outside in the hall, (extremely against code and ethics, illegal to discuss) while other people were around. I have made several attempts to contact the supervisor to discuss the professionalism of this matter, no one will return my call. Their back staff, NP, and asst, needs to realize my insurance company that I work and pay for, is paying for a service, a dignified and professional service. No one should ever be treated the way my daughter was treated. I would highly recommend NOT going to this facility.

I presented to the clinic last Friday with terrible ear pain and a lump on my neck. After entering and being checked in the young lady at the front desk was very blunt and uninviting. She gave me papers to sign took insurance cards and license . Dollars by telling me she will take my payment after my visit . Not knowing if I had it or not . The nurse pulled me to the back asked weight and high etc didn’t take it , sent doctor in the room . She told me it was swimmers ear and my ear canals were swollen gave me 14 boxes of (expired ) ear drops and told the nurse outside the door she didn’t think my insurance would cover anything . This si what the physics Ivan assistant whispered and she doesn’t know I heard her. She follows by giving me a shot and charged me $35 for it . This was. Terrible experience , I will never go there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, there weren’t even computers in the exam rooms, and no air I was literally sweating and fanning myself while she ask what’s wrong . NEVER AGAIN .

Caught this sore throat junk thats been going around. There hours are 9am to 9pm. Most if not all other clinics dont open till 3pm or later. I was the only person there at 10 am. Sat down, did my few pages of paperwork like any other facility and not 5 minutes later was seen by the doctor. They took a strep swab test which only took 5 minutes compared to the 3-5 days when I was younger. Got a shot, my prescriptions (and lolly pop ;) and was on my way. Total time of 20 minutes or so. This place is A++ and would recommend it to any and everyone.

If you want somewhere you can get in and get out, this place is great. Theyre not always super thorough, however. Ive been sick for three months; diagnosed with the flu twice, then an upper resp. infection, then bronchitis... Been here each time; nothing has made me better. Ive been in a house with people who have step throat, told the doctors that, and they will not do a step test. Ive been on at least four different antibiotics and my system is just.. toast. Now Im presenting with throat ache and a debilitating ear ache... guess Ill be going in tomorrow, as this place at least cares more than Urgent Care does.Last year this place diagnosed me with sinusitis five-six times in a row, refusing to do any tests to see if it mightve been something else. Im not a doctor, of course, but maybe after you treat me for the same thing five times and it doesnt improve at all... hmm...On the bright side, they did manage to alleviate a lot of pain caused by an ingrown toenail and it has healed BEAUTIFULLY!Staff is nice for the most part, but four out of six visits the last few months Ive gotten the same nurse who is pretty standoffish and rude. I get it, work sucks; so I havent really filed a complaint or anything. I just know I give a sigh of relief when I walk in and its not her attending to me, lol. Each doctor/NP has been very, very kind.I just wish they were a little more thorough and went beyond oh, yeah, you must have sinusitis because your nose is running. Its gotten to the point that I dont even want to mention my nose is running because its like theyll hear that and just go straight to sinusitis and you cannot convince them that you might, possibly, have something else wrong. All in all, not a horrible place to go. When youre immunocompromised and catch everything going around + low income like myself, there are much worse alternatives.

I came in with an injured hand. The PA walked in and asked if I wanted X-Rays. Why else would I come into an Urgent Care? She never even looked at my hand. As I was having the X-Rays I was crying due to the pain. Next thing I know, I am being shoved out the door. All I was told is that my hand wasnt broken.

(2015) Fast, clean, super friendly, in and out within 45 min being a new patient and getting xrays and tests done, had my prescriptions and was out the door in the same amount of time Id have been waiting for my PCP WITH an appointment!(2020) Went in with sore throat and low fever, was told I wasnt sick enough for COVID and they only gave strep & flu test. Strep positive. Husband went 3 days later with same symptoms and got someone different and he got all 3 tests and was diagnosed as COVID positive. While we didnt have the same symptoms, I did lose my sense of smell and am 99% sure I too was positive, but without a test, I was not able to present it to my employer - and was not paying another co-pay to go back and get it.
