Dr Kirsten gave the most gentle and thorough exam to my 9 year old lab! I had changed clinics because I felt the other was a cash machine. No kindness, just about adding services. So happy I found her. I would pay twice as much for this place. I even saw them extend credit for someone in need. A truly caring group.

We went to Batavia Animal Clinic after bad experience with another veterinarian and are very happy with Adam Schanding since then. Very proficient and considerate doctor that doesnt push you to pay for unnecessary things. Really knows his way around animals, big and small. The prices at the BAC are very reasonable.

I just adopted my dog and he is very scared of new people. The people at Batavia Animal Clinic are SO patient and kind and take things very slow to make sure Cheeko is comfortable. I cannot express how much that means to me and my pup!

This is the first vet clinic I took my pup too cause of all the positive reviews. Then I started branching out to ones closer too me but when it came to my pup and a suspicion of ear infection I brought her here. The nurses are always super nice and welcoming and it makes me want to come back 🐶🐶🐶 and for my first visit they gave me a referral card for a free first visit and we ended up using it for our Siamese kitten 🐱 so definitely recommend to come here.

The doctors and staff at Batavia Animal Clinic are helpful, kind and compassionate with our family. We started going to this clinic during COVID and they were so well organized, and orchestrated the communication for drop off, consultation with the physician and pick-up perfectly. The physicians take the time to educate our family and ensure that we are comfortable with the treatment of our pet.

Great service... super caring staff. Jasper always comes out of the appointment happy and never minds visiting the vet! My messages are always answered through Pet Desk which alleviates anxiety if something is happening with my dog that I am unsure of. So grateful for the whole team!

New customer to the clinic and area, and the vet couldnt take 2 minutes to come outside and introduce herself. Not asking to go inside or shake hands or anything. Id just like to meet the person and see them interact with my pet before I blindly leave them in your care. Didnt end up sticking around for the appointment.

Took my new puppy for his first exam and was seen by Dr. Magnuson. Although I couldn’t accompany my puppy due to social distancing I spoke with the doctor for over 30 minutes by phone during and after his exam. She answered ALL my questions (I had lots) and was kind and very knowledgeable. She explained everything and made recommendations for his future care. I am so pleased I will be switching my other dog to Batavia Animal Clinic as well. Highly recommend.

Recently brought one of our dogs in for what we thought was a broken leg. Dr. Magunson was amazing! She kept me updated frequently (seeing as I was sitting in the car outside). She helped me through getting our pup set up for a surgery consult and at the end she even brought me in to look at the X-rays and explained everything in great detail. We also saw Dr. Shanding with another dog and he was amazing as well. He was very supportive in finding the options that worked best for us.

I love this Vet Clinic. I have two new puppies and Dr. Magnuson really impressed me with the way she interacted with them. She really took the time to answer any questions and explained everything very well. Our second visit went just as well and our pups needed their shots and didnt even notice they got the vaccines. I just want to say how thankful we are for this office. Previous vets have been very rude, especially if they recommend a service or procedure that you can’t afford right away. My animals have always been a priority to me and considered family, so if I could do anything to help them I would but sometimes paying for rent and other bills has to come first. This office is so understanding about every situation including financial problems. About a week ago, they removed a huge mass on my beagles leg, and once the anesthesia wore off, you can’t even tell she had surgery! They sent us home with antibiotics and pain medication. They’re very thorough, and they even called to check on her the next day! Love love love this vet and Sammi loves seeing her friends there too!

This is a great vet practice. During COVID theyve managed to implement an augmented system while treating my pooch. They have been taking care of my 15 year old fur buddy for the last two weeks with kindness, patience, and compassion. They are quite competent and have a phenomenal staff that goes out of their way to work with you. Im new to the area and Batavia Animal Clinic has alleviated much of my fear about finding a new vet.

The staff and vets are kind and compassionate. In 2018 I had to put my dog down and Dr. Magnuson was incredibly supportive before, during and after the process. The past year we adopted two rescues and once again Dr. Magnuson and the entire staff at Batavia Animal Clinic have been amazing, especially during this pandemic.

We visited for the first time to have a pet put down. The staff was extremely friendly and compassionate toward us as we were grieving our new loss. They explained everything every step of the way so we didnt have any surprises as we went through and witnessed our pets last moments. We love all of the staff here! I was nervous about finding a new vet when we moved here a few years ago but Dr. Schanding and the staff take good care of our pup. He would panic at our vet office in Chicago but he seems to do well with them. Our pup also enjoys the cats that walk around, specifically Jack. I highly recommend it and I think our pup would too

My dog is not a patient here, but she is on prescription food. My normal vet is out of her specific food and told me to call around and see if another vet has it. Batavia Animal Clinic had stock of the food. I offered to provide a prescription for the food, but they said they were unwilling to sell the food to me.

This is our second beloved pet Dr. Schanding has treated, and he and his office make Batavia a better place to live in because of their wonderful office. At first I thought I would just come here for the general visit, offered through Anderson Animal Clinic when adopting, but I really enjoyed their interactions with me and my dog. They were very polite with making my appointment, and I got calls reminding me what I had to bring. They gave me so much advice for training a puppy. They were very patient with all the questions I was asking. I got out a little after closing, but didnt feel rushed to get out. Sorry for keeping you okay your time.

I absolutely love Batavia Animal Clinic! The person at the front desk is always so helpful and nice. The two vets are absolutely amazing. You can tell that they really care about animals and that they are very knowledgeable. I would not trust anyone else with my dog!

This place truly cares for your animals as much as you do. Anytime there is an issue they give me printed information so I can educate myself on whats going on with my pet. I have also received follow up calls from the vet themselves which is a very nice personal touch not received elsewhere. When I bring my dog in they are always on the floor snuggling, petting, and playing with my dog and ensuring his comfort. He no longer fears being at the vet and it has become a positive experience for my dog. I wouldnt trust anyone else with the care of my pet.

I took my cat here for the first time today to treat a upper respiratory infection. the staff and vet were so sweet to her. Kept calling her cute, giving her compliments about her collar and jacket, being very gentle with her and answered every question me and my family had about her care. The doctor even clipped her nails for free while she was there because I was short on money, baby just wont let me do it alone and she really needed. This place cares, like really care, past it being a career. Between the gentle interactions with her, cute little compliments about her, to the sweet smiles the doctor gave her. It overall was a amazing visit. I would recommend this place to anyone that has a fur baby! Specially one thats more on the sweet scared side. They will take good care of them

Dr. Schanding is great! He always remembers our dog and is so gentle and caring. I dont feel dumb asking questions and he is always very thorough with his answers and instructions. Also, their offices have been renovated and they are so nice. I highly recommend Batavia Animal Clinic!

I love how friendly everyone is and they always remember my dog. They helped make his surgery last week as smooth as possible and are always there to answer questions. One time in an emergency I loved that they said come right over instead of asking a million questions!! I recommend them all highly!

This is the best vet clinic weve been to so far (and weve been to many).The staff is very nice. The doctor is super experienced! He drew blood from my dog without shaving fur or tightening his paw. Impressive skills! But more importantly - these doctors know their work very well, can recognize hidden disease, and they take very good care of all animals.I highly recommend this clinic to everybody who lives nearby.

We love Batavia Animal Clinic! The entire staff is incredible. Our anxious pup does great here and they are great with her. When she seems nervous they take their time and work with her and with us to provide the best treatment. They are also very honest. She was recently diagnosed with an arrhythmia and they have helped us find the best course of treatment within our means. Really, truly wonderful and considerate staff and doctor!

We received a coupon for a free exam from this clinic when we adopted a hound puppy from Anderson Animal Shelter and were pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and the Dr was kind and explained everything to us very well.When we went back for a follow up 2 weeks later, the staff remembered our pup Hobbes and we were well taken care of.The clinic is very clean, convenient, and has a great animal medical team for anyone living in or near Batavia. We will certainly continue to use this as our dog’s regular clinic.

Batavia Animal Clinic is always friendly and quick to meet our pet needs. They are very thorough, take time to answer all questions and get to the root of any problems our pets are having. Their love of animals is also very evident in how they treat their patients.

During the pandemic, we had to do the curbside visit for a wellness check. They took my pet from the vehicle, did the exam, then called to discuss it. Later, they called to see how our pet was doing after annual shots. That short phone call goes a long way.

I have taken my cat Isaac there two times and have been very happy with the service both times. The nurses and the doctor are friendly and knowledgeable. They would also hear out any concerns regarding my cats health. Never did I feel like they were forcing a treatment on my cat, they would always discuss the pros and cons with me and I had the final say in treatment. Overall I felt my cat and I were given great service, and treated with respect. Oh and the doctor even remembered My cat and I even though my visits were months apart. This has become my primary vet.

Such a wonderful Veterinarian office. They have seen all of my animals, Guinea Pig included, and are absolutely wonderful people. The Veterinarian himself is super gentle and very unobtrusive. I have rescue dogs that are not really wild about men and they are perfectly fine with him touching them and trimming their nails. As far as their prices go, I would say they are on par to any other Vet in the area. If you leave them a message, they get back to you with a solution. The biggest thing I love about this office is that they do not push products that you do not need and they talk to you about the vaccines that you need. They do not force anything on you and you feel that you are helping make the choices about your pets care without any judgement. I would drive here if we moved out of town.
