Been coming here for years and nothing but good things to say. Just this year I am renting a. seasonal site at lei-ti and it’s been nothing but fun! Go DEEPWOODS!

By far one of the nicest places we have camped. Extremely clean, well maintained and always some fun activities going on. My 6 year old son came home the first weekend he camped there and told me about Big Bad John . Since he was little I have always played the song Big Bad John when we are driving, he loves that song and when he first met John that is what he compared him to because he is so tall.He took a liking to the owners John & Shelia very quickly, always excited to go to the store to show them how he learned to ride his bike or to show them a new remote control car he received.Every time John & Shelia would come out and watch. The whole family are genuinely very nice people, very personable, polite, always waving or saying hi. Shelia definitely has a green thumb , she keeps the landscape looking beautiful.So, if you are looking for a seasonal site or just for the weekend, you cant go wrong at Lei Ti.Sincerely,Larry, Tina, Joshua & Ellie

I have been a seasonal camper for nearly 10 years. The entire camp ground is like family! The owners are fantastic. I would recommend this camp ground to anyone!

Great family oriented activities, along with their annual Labor Day, Chinese Auction fund raiser for a Organization of their choice for that season !!

We stayed a few days and the kids had a good time. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. The pool and store were nice with a few toys and basics. We had a gravel pad on our site with good electric service. The price wasnt bad. Playground was a hit with the kids. It was too cold to check on the pool, but it appeared well kept. There were lots of golf carts, which was new to us; but it is a large property.

Owner has no people skills and his park is a dump !!!!

I have been a seasonal camper for 10 years. Lei Ti is my happy place and favorite place to be. If you are looking for a seasonal place to camp this campground is the place to check out. Very clean and well maintained, lots of activities for all ages (before stupid Covid) and you will make the most amazing friends who turn into family. 5 stars for sure!!! My experience at lei ti was the most amazing experience ever. I was a seasonal camper from 2015 to 2019 the owners were fabulous the park itself was breathtaking I really miss the owners and some campers there sorry to say I wont be returning there in the 2020season but most of all I miss the owners had a great time with them also if I ever had a chance to go back I would I truely love u guys

We love Lei-Ti! This was our second year having a permanent site at location and couldnt be happier with our decision. There are always lots of fun activities to do for people of all ages (candy bar bingo, corn hole tournaments, fishing, live bands, swimming, fireworks and lots more). The owners take pride in Lei-Ti and you can definitely tell by how everything is kept up. I highly recommend Lei-Ti!

This is a great campground with extremely friendly staff and guests. Plenty to do for the entire family. They even have pizza delivery to your site. We stayed for Memorial Day weekend they had a great band on Sunday night. The kids were busy all weekend and caught so many fish. We didnt want to leave. We will definitely go back. All amenities are clean and very well maintained.

Lei Ti is a great place to camp! I have been here now for about 18 years. I purchased my Park Model from Lei Ti a few years ago and have used it every weekend since. There are plenty of activities for all ages put on by Lei Ti along with the help of the Association which every camper becomes an automatic member. This is a very family friendly campground that is a very nice place for campers of all ages. The owners are always there to help you with any problems that arise. The park is always neat and clean. The roads throughout the park continue to be improved, but exactly what I would expect of a campground. Sure, I would prefer paved roads, but I realize the expense would be cost prohibitive. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at Lei Ti and feel that it is a great value for my money.

Another great season and had to review again how nice of a Campsite Resort Lei-Ti is. Friendly and such a great place to stay . They take pride in the resort and everything is so well maintained . Have highly recommended them and will continue to do so. Hope to be back next year.Thank you for being so accommodating to us.

Very cute and charming camp with lots of activities and events throughout the summer that really allow you meet other campers and build friendships, I can’t imagine a better campground in the area

Spent the day with my best friend’s family. Numerous activities provided through out the day. Seriously considering getting a permanent site in the near future.

Stopped in at Lei Ti recently to obtain information about the resort and to take a look around. We were told; Were closed. Not even; Sorry were closed, come back again, just; Were closed. Is that how a business acquires new customers? Hmmm.

Its private community camping ground with mandatory respect policy but its worth it....its the perfect Campground for the Leisure Time with the family thats what Li tie stands for family and fun times

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. The owners are crazy & rude. My BF & I have been looking for a seasonal site. We called & were told by the woman who answered, & identified herself as one of the owners, that sites were available. We asked if we could drive out & look, & she said yes. The next day my BF drives 1 1/2 hours to get there. I was unable to go. When he gets there, both owners are in the office, & the wife gives him a map showing the available sites. He tells her that he would be taking pictures. She says OK. Now keep in mind, the crazy husband is standing right there. My BF says hello to him, gets in his truck and begins to drive through the camp. Unfortunately he was EXTREMELY disappointed in the sites. The ground is very un-level & spots are tight, but because I was very excited about this place, he began to take as many pictures as possible. Just as he is finishing, 1 of the current tenants comes out & asks him if she can help him. He explains what he was doing, dont forget he was given permission by the owners. Well this tenant called the office to complain. My BF, unaware of the call, was headed back to thank the owners. He didnt have a chance, the crazy, husband comes down in his Security vehicle & stops my BF. The husband tells him, he is DONE doing what he is doing & has to leave or he is calling the cops. My BF tries to ask what is going on & the guy again repeats, GET OUT & dont come back or Im calling the cops. My BF, drives out & calls the wife to tell her what happened. She doesnt apologize, all she says is, I dont know what happened, I wasnt there. She doesnt ask him to come back in to discuss the situation with her husband like normal civilized human beings, she just hangs up. He drives home & tells me what happened.Im shocked & think to myself, that is just crazy. I ask are you sure you werent rude. He says no. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, & that those owners are crazy & THANK GOD he saw their true side before I talked him into booking a site. I still cant believe this is how it went down, so the next morning, I call to inquire about what happened, & to hear their side. Again the wife answers, I give her my name, tell her that my BF came out & apparently something went terribly wrong & I just want to hear their side. She, like a child, says well, I dont know, I wasnt there, I cant tell you anything. She says hold on, & calls to the husband, who comes over, picks up the phone & just hangs up! Im in shock! All this time, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking my boyfriend HAD to do something wrong, he must have. That is the only logical answer. There was no way two owners of a business would act the way he had described. I called back & this time, the husband answers, I again, tell him who I am & I that I had just called & was hung up on. I just wanted to hear their side, to understand. I was basically begging them for any response that would justify them not only treating my boyfriend the way they did, but why did they hang up. He tells me I am not talking to you, I dont know you, dont call back & hangs up on me again! I am 50 years old & have never experienced anything so disrespectful in my entire life. I cant figure out why they wouldnt want to help me understand what happened. All I can say is I am glad everything happened the way it did, because I probably would have talked my boyfriend into renting, & then we would have been stuck dealing with a guy who obviously has several screws loose & probably would have kicked us out for breathing, along with having to deal with a women who is obviously weak, scared and is controlled by her husband & cant stand up to him. Neither one of them is mature enough to discuss this like adults. I know this is a long post, & I am sorry, but I noticed after reading the other reviews, that when something negative is said, the owners offer up some lame excuse. I am curious to see if they are willing to tell the world their side.. even though they dont know them all either...LOL. Wont they look foolish?

I had seen some very negative reviews of this campground by some people, but really didnt want to judge too much based on them. I had looked at their website and love the idea of coming to NY to avoid the hot summer months of TX. I have NEVER been to a campground that wouldnt allow you inside just to take a closer look at their setting without having an appointment. Unbelievable! I didnt see anything on their website that indicated an appointment was needed unless you were coming there to look at places for sale. Needless to say, we wouldnt even consider them NOW! Way to show NY friendliness, guess that would just be TX!Reply to reply: We were there on Tuesday after Labor Day, I wasnt aware that was still the holiday weekend. I did put off coming during the holiday weekend. It is laughable that you suggest walking through the campground as an option. Im not quite sure what difference there is between walking and driving except that you would be using that as a means of discouraging visitors. Your ploy did work wonderfully though, now you couldnt pay me to come there. We did receive a nice reception at one of your competing campgrounds so the day wasnt lost. I dare say that if your ratings continue to drop, you wont have to worry about being put on so much by people wanting to look at your extremely busy campground that I saw no one stirring in.Update: Response to Owner Response Maybe you wouldnt have to spend so much time offering your lame excuses if you were more accommodating. I still fail to see why foot traffic would be alright because of it being so busy AFTER, NOT DURING a holiday.

A bit pricey for what you get, sign says AAA approved, but offer no discounts for any affiliations. We live full time in our Motorhome and years ago had a permanent site here.Lodge was locked and mens room smelled like stale urine.

We looked at a dozen campgrounds and chose Lei-Ti based on the right mix of amenities and space to yourself. Couldnt be happier. Everything very well kept and John the owner always helpful. Other campers all very friendly and seems like most have been here a long time, so Lei-Ti must be doing something right. Glad they run a tight ship, or it could end up likr one of the campgrounds we turned down. The rules are very reasonable besides. Well be here for many years.

Horrible!! The owner is a miserable person. Will blame u for things u never did, even if you are not there. Not family friendly at all. You cant even have a fire or talk after 9pm or you will get kicked out. He wont even ask if it was you. If someone complains he will just kick you out before he has the guts to confront you and see if it was even you. His own staff serves alcohol to minors!!!

Sad to say this park was not a great experience. It is very clean and has the potential to be so much more, unfortunately the owner spoiled our experience. After looking at the reviews it doesn’t come as shock - in hindsight. It seems that every bad review focuses around his lack of customer service skills and brash communication style. It’s quite unfortunate because being the business owner - one would think he would get the picture and put himself in a different position or at least one that had minimal interaction with his customers?! His communication with grown adults and children alike is threatening and I found myself walking away with the feeling as if he only knows how to be condescending and belittling. Many of the locals laughed it off and confirmed that he indeed is the “only” issue with this potentially perfect campground? We will not be returning and would steer people away from a campground that is supposed to be about family and community unless you prefer giving your money to someone who thinks nothing of you or your experience. We were told that anything said otherwise we would be kicked out promptly- needless to say first and last experience. Such a shame! Wife is super nice?!Not a shock about the owners response! Lol - again clearly can’t take ownership for his lack of customer service skills and how he handles both children and adults! This “group” being two families! Parents and children? The kids went to the pond as a group- p.s. 16, 13, 12 and 10! As a group while we set up camp they didn’t do anything wrong or destroy or act unruly. Again- your running a campground not a concentration camp! The 16 year old licensed driver did drive the cart that I most certainly did call the office about which you refused to listen to and stated to me “ drive it and your gone”! We immediately parked it and did not need your unnecessary threat to four grown adults. The campground was informed of the cart coming and was approved through the office prior to our arrival regardless of what you say! You can be wrong! Hearing about your reputation and your previous responses to reviews this again isn’t a shock. Your truly a class act and again that is why I will continue by word of mouth to tell people about you and your campground! As you are well aware we were quiet and a good family that caused no issues at all! Maybe get your facts right! Look in the mirror and realize that myself and many others are complaining with validity to our complaints. Go into a different job or learn to talk to people. Untill then we forgive you and your terrible behavior!

Very rude customer service!!!! I called to inquire about cabin rentals, which was noted on their website as an offered feature. The guy who answered the phone claimed they did not have cabins, and stated This is an RV park, what part of RV camping dont you understand. I will not give business to a place that feels it is ok to talk to potential customers like they mean nothing. If you are looking for some place to go in the Batavia area go to Southwoods. They treat you like they actually appreciate you staying there.You can claim that this isnt true but it very much is. I have nothing to gain by this. In fact I grew up going to this campground and its disheartening to have an experience like this. However, I Thank you for confirming my feelings about your resort. The Lei Ti website notes cabin rentals. If this is not accurate then update your website and dont get frustrated with people for inquiring.

One of if not the best trailer parks that we have stayed at over the years. That is why we keep coming back and telling our friends in Ontario about how nice of a park this is.
