I had gone to see the doctor/nurse_practitioner because of my swollen throat and saw Janelle Kittelson. She was thrall in explaining the reason and answered all of my questions. She was better then my personal physician in her bedside manner.

I recently got home from the Minute Clinic in Barrington with my son. He’s no stranger to ear infections & came home from school in excruciating pain today. By the time I got home from work it was 6:30 which was obviously too late to take him to the pediatrician. We drove to the CVS/minute clinic which closed at 7:30, when we walked in at 7:10 the kiosk would no longer accept appointments since the last patient was in with the NP already. My son and I waited patiently for her to finish with the last patient and I asked if she had time to check him out. I am quite sure Tanya, the NP, was very ready to go home, as we all are after a long day of work. However, she took one look at the amount of pain my child was in and agreed to see him. She was pleasant and accommodating and fast, after checking him out she determined he most definitely had an ear infection & prescribed him an antibiotic....one dose already down the hatch and now he’ll be feeling better in no time. 😊I just wanted to say thank you to Tanya Nguyen, the NP at this clinic & let her know (again) how much I appreciate her willingness to treat my son’s ear infection even though she did not have to. She just as easily could have apologized and told us to come back in the morning. Too often people run right to social media to blabber and whine about whatever negative experience they had, we need to make a point to spread more positivity and be just as passionate about the good stuff!!Not sure if this will get back to Tanya, but I really hope it does!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything you do!

They misdiagnosed me five times and I had to spend money going to my doctor eventually causing me many days more pain and illness. They don’t even know when you have an infection and almost always refuse antibiotics. I do not believe in overuse of antibiotics, however if you are spitting up green stuff for over a week now and have chest pain when you breathe, one should be given antibiotics. I ended up having pneumonia and the nurse ignored it. Not everyone has a very loud wheezing when they have pneumonia !

Horrible service! The blond hair young lady was awful. I brought my son in with strep throat. She tested him and it was negative. That was is she has no sympathy and sent us on our way . My son had very high fever super red throat for days. Knowing this has to be wrong we went to the pediatrician /The Dr tested him and can see that he definitely had strep . The doctor gave him anabiotic’s and I’m sorry I ever wasted my time going to a place that just plays dr. Not to mention rude!

Dont bother coming here unless you want to waste your money and eventually have to go to your own doctor. They dont diagnose properly and refuse to give out the proper antibiotics for your condition . Occasionally have I gotten a decent nurse but its hit or miss .

I have seen Sajeena twice so far, and I must say she is in excellent provider. She is thorough and has a good bedside manner. She does not prescribe unnecessary medications if you truly do not need them, and offers up alternative methods to treat ailments. I have seen negative reviews for this MinuteClinic, and perhaps I am just lucky to have seen Sajeena. Not sure what everyones insurance covers, but MinuteClinic is an affordable option ($60) vs going to immediate care ($150-200). So far, I have had positive experiences here.

Very frustrating to show up with my sick son 20 minutes before closing to find out they already stopped taking patients for the night. (Even though there wasn’t anyone else waiting) If they don’t take patients after 5 that should be noted on the website before I drive my son who already isn’t feeling well out to their minute clinic.

Should be called 2 hour clinic since thats how long I have been waiting. System allows others who schedule online to bump ahead of you even if you have been waiting longer-- might work ok when there are two nurses but not when theres only one. Should have gone to urgent care instead, will never come back here.

Terrible service! I signed in on the kiosk and apparently you can sign in online before you get here and bump people who are already here and waiting.

The doctors here are ok. They do not diagnose you that well, but try to refer you to a nearby urgent care or emergency care.
