Dr. Sahay is a kind, compassionate doctor. She showed heartfelt sympathy for my husband and myself during a very difficult diagnosis.

First after Dr referral I never even got a call to schedule. Had to have the referring Dr office call them to schedule after two weeks. You will have to wait about a month and a half to get an appointment. Then when you go to your appointment you will be greeted with a very unwelcoming woman. She will tell you you are late and need to reschedule. DO NOT BOTHER SCHEDULING WITH THEM, you will be frustrated and very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!

My advice is to save your time by researching Dr. Sahay and find a different doctor to seek treatment with. When you make an appointment to see Dr. Sahay for symptoms that are real. Don’t be surprised if she tells you that there are people in worse condition than you are in and you should just deal with it and move on. Your appointment will end at that point. Dr. Sahay, thank you for your non-medical advice. Dr. Biller would be so unhappy to hear one of his residence didn’t follow in his footsteps.

When I met her for the first time she was very friendly. I went to see her because I have epilepsy and I was pregnant but I had a miscarriage a week before I went in. She was very compassionate very knowledgeable. She made me feel like I was in real good hands. She should me a PowerPoint of how epilepsy affects pregnancy from medications to the research of how many women with epilepsy with each medication. The risks my kids have of epilepsy, how development, risks percentage and so much more. I’ve never had a neurologist be so detailed willing to answer all my questions like that. Before I would go online to look for some answers and was very limited. She even gave me a Excel sheet of how she was gonna change my medication and her plan for the future. How long I could wait to try again which she said I could right away like my gynecologist said. But with medication change she asked to give her 8 weeks to check medication levels and how often she would check. I know this long but she was amazing. I had previous pregnancies never had a neurologist given me so much information I would go in and they would just say if I had any side effects or if a had any seizures then off with my day. I so happy that I have her my neurologist.

Truly a terrible doctor. She kept her hand on the doorknob during the entire appointment (it was less than 10 minutes) and didnt listen to a word I said. Ive never experienced such terrible bedside manner before. On top of all this, her diagnosis was dangerously incorrect. I wouldnt recommend her to my worst enemy.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Ive never been treated so horribly by anyone, let alone a doctor. She was angry when I arrived for my appointment because she apparently had to pick up her toddler and my appointment interfered with that.... During my appointment she told me that there was no hope for my chronic migraines and that Id have to go to a different facility (despite that not being the case during our other appointment together). She said she specialized in being blunt with her patients. Im not sure why she took her anger out on me, but it was extremely unprofessional.Be sure to go on the other doctor ratings websites to see how similar things have happened to other people.

If you are looking for a fantastic neurologist, look no further than Dr. Sahay. She is so very knowledgeable and also very personable. I met her originally after being admitted into the hospital recently. Not that meeting at the hospital is the most opportune spot to get to know someone, but she immediately put me at ease. Even better, she has my familys approval. Yes, Dr Sahay was subjected to a large portion of my immediate family at the hospital. They are now forever fans of Dr Sahay! Her office, Northwest Neurology is large, very modern and located in Barrington. The office is run with smart, courteous staff. Another PLUS for this doctor!
