This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. Patricia was very helpful at the desk. I had to do root canal and a crown and Dr. Ferdkoff did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. He has the most advanced technology on site to fix any problems with your teeth. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. Thanks to Dr. Ferdkoff!

Had dealt with another dentist prior to coming to the barrington clinic and was told my tooth hurt from pressure and not a root canal. Not even two months later the pain came back even worse. Barrington dental took me in with an emergency visit and was informed a root canal was necessary. They took me within a few days and were able to assist and have it done. No pain anymore and was extremely pleased with everyone in the office especially Iryna, Dr Ferdkoff and Patrycja. Everyone was kind and courteous and helped me.

Ive been using Barrington Dental Wellness Center for 3+ years now. Ive had a few dentists in my time and this group is the best. I especially like the one stop shop aspect for my most recent crown. They did the root canal, fabricated the crown in house and installed it, all in about 2 hours. And for a very reasonable price. Very professional. Top notch cleaning and maintenance. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I’ve been a patient here for about 3 years now and I’m a lifer. Dr. Ferdkoff is awesome - patient (with my tons of questions) and thorough. And damn near painless work as icing on the cake.But his support staff? That’s the key difference for me. Irina (front office), Lena and Magda are an absolute joy (yes, joy at the dentist’s office!). I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore and my teeth show it.

Fantastic level of care! I have a real phobia of the dentist and had held off going for far too long. Dr Ferdkoff and his staff were very understanding and took the time to ask questions about my fears so that they could better alleviate them. Unfortunately, after years of neglecting my teeth, I did need a root canal. Not only did they change their scheduling to accommodate me on short notice, but they also arranged for conscious sedation for the procedure and even included my cleaning while I was sedated. Having the sedation made the root canal a breeze. I dont remember any of it and the crown was placed same day. It was a perfect fit and I am pain free. The work was done with a high level of skill, but more importantly, it was done with compassion. Highly recommend!

Our entire family goes to this office. I have been visiting this Dentist Office for almost 5 years now and have been treated by 3 different dentists. I was Dr. Ferdkoffs patient for many years. He was excellent and provided good work. However in the last year he was no longer taking appointments in Barrington. My family and I were seen by a woman who suggested I had a cavity that needed to be taken care of on the next visit. My daughter was told the same thing plus that her wisdom teeth would need to be removed.We switched dentists and after everyone in my family had been seen, we had no cavities and the new dentist reported that my daughters wisdom teeth were coming in just fine. We called Barrington Dental Wellness Center and asked that our records be forwarded. The girl who answers the phone at the front desk was very rude and never did forward our records.BEWARE!

I have been dodging the dentist for years due to very bad experiences. Needless to say my teeth are a mess. I had to get a deep cleaning (which is not pleasant) and the Doctor performed it. I was the last appointment at 5:00PM and I could tell the Doctor was ready to go home. They called me a 4:30 to let me know that I can come in early because the Doctor was ready for me. She chipped away at my bottom teeth for over an hour when I finally gave up. Did I mention that a deep cleaning is not pleasant. Its especially not pleasant for someone who let their mouth get into the condition i did. My mouth was still numb next day so i know the discomfort was not due to lack of the pain killer injected into my gums and jaw. I was the only person in the office besides the doctor and the receptionist at 6:00pm and the receptionist had everything ready to close the office including the Doctors things. She then apologized to the receptionist and told her they had to stay a little longer because she had talk to me for a minute. She walked around the office and started grabbing props and began a teeth and gum maintenance class. (Embarrassing for some one my age but i needed it) I was inspired. She actually cared more about my teeth than i did. For the first time in my life I am maintaining my teeth and gums properly and enjoying it. I found my dental office for years to come. PS. My dental visits are a lot more pleasant now that Im not a mess.

During this 2020 Pandemic I felt comfortable within minutes of arriving and I have a health issue that requires me to vigilant. The first thing they did was to take the other patient from the waiting area that had arrived moments before I. They took this gentleman to the farthest exam room and then brought me back to my exam room so as not to pass the area the patient would have been in. There were disposable plastic coverings on the chair, and other areas that I might touch. The staff wore masks and face shields. I was told about the air being Hepa filtered. It was also explained that face shields were cleaned between each patient, and new masks were used for each patient as well. Dr Wegner is thorough and friendly. She engages in conversation to make the experience enjoyable. The hygenist went above and beyond. I was asked if mint was ok for the polishing. I told her yes but the cinnamon was even better. I have only had the cinnamon once and didnt even know if they still had it. Even though I was good with her using the mint she went to the back to get cinnamon for me. Before leaving I mentioned that I had been going to ask Dr Wegner about a particular toothpaste that I was no longer able to find in the store. She recognized what I was talking about and switched out the sample in my to go bag. I highly recommend this place.

Ive been Doctor Ferdkoffs happy patient for many years. He is one of the kind that is called Golden Hands. He is an extremely professional and skilled dentist and a very friendly and humble person. Dr. Ferdkoff can handle the most complicated procedures the way that you will hardly feel any pain or discomfort after the treatment. This always amazed me. I purchased a Groupon in 2012 for teeth whitening. When i visited the office, they recommended that i get x-rays done since they are covered by my dental insurance. The doctor examined my teeth and gave me a quote of their prices for getting different dental work done. I did not get any work done in 2012 and discarded the quote they gave me.This year (2013) i had a tooth ache and went to their office for treatment. The doctor said i need to get a root canal done. After the root canal, he said i needed a crown. I knew my insurance doesnt cover for a crown so i asked the doctors assistant to give me a quote for the crown and she orally said it was $300 and was not willing to giving me a written quote. I agreed to get the crown done and she asked me to pay the amount upfront. I paid for the crown upfront. The doctor gave me a temporary crown and wanted me to come after a couple of weeks for the permanent crown. When i went for the permanent crown, the doctors assistant Irene said that i owe them another $600 because my insurance doesnt cover for a crown. When i asked her (Irene) about the quote and payment in my previous visit, she said that she assumed that my insurance covers a part of the cost for the crown. She also said that since she gave me a written quote in 2012 she did not give me a written quote now.I donot have any problem paying for the cost of the service i received, but their intention to cheat their customers/patients is not at all acceptable to me. I wanted to talk to the dentist (who owns this business) to bring it to his attention, but i was not allowed to talk to him. He was in the next room while i was having this conversation with the assistant and can hear our discussion. Later he even passed us without trying to resolve the issue.PS: I just noticed all the good reviews in this site and the only thing in common among all the reviews is that all are anonymous. I am pretty sure these were written by someone in the doctors office.

I wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone. At first staff were nice when I called for an appointment but after that they werent helpful. Also, their deep cleaning is around $299 compare to my recent dentist it was $269. At this place you only see dentist once and for few mins. If you want to see your xray you have to pay $25 and only via emails. so becareful with anything you sign there.The dental hygenist told me that she would educate me on few stuff later and at the end of my appointment I asked her about the education she told me she would do it when I see her next time...which didnt make sense at all. I WOULD NOT RECCEMEND THIS PLACE. Find a different dentist. I had to deal once and I refuse to go there.
