This was my first visit to the Pennino family dentistry, but I’m sure it will be the first of many. My mom, dad, and brother all go here and it was time for me to switch from my childhood dentist to an adult one. I figured with their good experiences I might as well give Pennino a try, and I’m glad I did. As a first time patient, they were extremely thorough and made sure to cover all the bases.I had a couple concerns regarding a chipped tooth and some sweetness sensitivity on my back teeth, and they addressed them completely. My past dentist basically ignored my sweetness sensitivity because it wasn’t a cavity, but these guys listened to my concerns and worked with me to try out some treatments.Everyone working from the receptionist, to the dental hygienists, to the Dr. himself (AI had Connor) were all kind and courteous. Even though COVID is on its way out, everyone was wearing masks, and wearing them PROPERLY, which I appreciated. I originally had an appointment for a month out from when I called them yesterday, but asked to be put on the cancellation list. Later that day they called me and said they had an opening for today if I was able to make it work. I really appreciate that they followed through and on such short notice.Overall my experience here was 100% positive, as I felt they were all extremely pleasant and very good with communication throughout the whole process. I will definitely return here for my check ups.

What a wonderful family dentistry practice! I am continually impressed with the team at Pennino Family Dentistry. They are friendly, helpful, attentive, kind and caring. My elderly father has been well taken care since weve been coming for the last few years. Not just cleanings, but X-rays and special procedures. Andrea, the administrator at the front desk, has explained everything thoroughly and shes gone out of her way to conveniently schedule appointments for us. Brit, the dentist, has been so nice and hands-on in her gentle care and concern. The office is top notch and comfortable. I cant say enough about this practice. After seeing my Periodontist for a cleaning and then discovering I needed to have 2 teeth pulled, I saw Dr. Doug for a consultation for the restoration work. I had been very rattled by the news regarding the extractions. Dr. Pennino and his assistant Ashley were very reassuring and helped me think through some options. I also needed to have a filling for a crack in a crown which he was able to do on the spot! I cant say enough about their professionalism and compassion. I would definitely recommend the Dr. Doug!

I took my 3 year old daughter in today for her first dental appointment. She was so nervous, but as soon as we entered, the man at the front desk showed her the fish tank and she was so happy. She loved watching the fish. Then, Courtni came and was so wonderful with her. She let her see each tool and explained (in terms my daughter could understand) what she was doing. My daughter ended up loving the dentist office and wants to know when we’re going next.

Pennino Family Dentistry is the best family practice I have ever been too! They are professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Their office is state of the art. I love that it is a family practice of a Dad and his 2 sons. I personally have seen Dr. Doug (Dad) and Dr. Connor (one of the sons). Dr. Connor put on a crown in August for me and it was the best experience I have ever had with crowns. The hygienists Nicole and Laura are fabulous as well as the wonderful staff who are always friendly whenever you call or see them. Couldnt be happier!😊

Using the new patient special I received in the mail ($125 for x-rays, oral cancer screening, cleaning, and fluoride), I went into their office and received the best care! Courtni was a wonderful hygienist and walked me through everything she was doing. She was so awesome, and Dr Doug helped to also welcome me and and took great care in checking everything out. Just moved to the area with my family and saw great reviews at Pennino Family Dentistry so I decided to make an appointment for a cleaning. When making the appointment I gave the person I was speaking to all my info and notified of my insurance. I’ve used my insurance for cleanings dozens of times and I know I receive 2 cleanings a year at no extra charge. My appointment was today as I arrived they asked for my credit card I asked the lady why she needs that since my insurance company covers my cleaning. She asked me to come to the door and started explaining that they are not in network for any insurance and they have their own fee’s. The person I initially made an appointment with decided not to mention this to me. The lady at the door said they can submit everything to the insurance and see what they reimburse and I’ll be stuck with paying the residual and we’ll only know in 2 weeks. I took time off of work in the middle of the day to come here and completely wasted my time. A word of advice.... IF YOU DON’T TAKE PEOPLES INSURANCES THAN START THE CONVERSATION WITH THAT!

I hate, HATE, going to the dentist. Laura, my dental hygienist was incredibly comforting and fun to communicate with. She went slow and made sure to check that I was comfortable at every point. Every other dentist/dental hygienist I’ve ever had rushed through and destroyed my gums but not her. If every other hygienist and dentist there is like her, don’t worry about going anywhere else.

Good dentists, good hygienists, good staff, good equipment, good facilities. 20 year patient, yet to be disappointed. Appointments start on time, everyone seems to know their jobs and are friendly in doing them. Space and equipment always look clean and well maintained and Id guess is state of the art but Im not an expert on dental technology.
