After calling many, many therapists and being told that they were not taking new patients, I was excited when an employee at the call center for Thomson Memory told me that they ARE taking new patients- they only need my teenage son to come in for a full day of brain testing first, and THEN we can make an appointment with a therapist. It took months to get in, which isnt my complaint- its expected. But after receiving the brain testing results, the doctor told me that their therapists arent taking new patients! Luckily, my son isnt in a desperate state of mind. I just wanted to warn people that are. My husband is still glad that he took my son there because the brain testing was neat, even though it was pretty unrelated .
