They were running almost an hour behind, and I had to wait outside because they were at full capacity in the waiting room with 5 people.But the staff was really great, although the front desk lady was kinda not inviting at first.Once I got in the back area though, things moved pretty fast and all the staff was really friendly and professional!

The Berlin Aspen Dental is a WONDERFUL establishment. The office is clean, bright and organized. The staff is so friendly and professional. The young lady that did my Xrays was so polite and attentive. Seth, the Dental hygienist, was awesome. I look forward to going to the Dentist! Thank you for all you do.

Over the past year and a half I’ve had a pretty decent overall experience with the Berlin (Barre) branch. They are often grossly understaffed, so be prepared for that. I only ever met the actual dentist once for a brief 5 minutes and the rest of the staff has always treated me with respect and concern. That made me feel secure as I have a phobia of the dentist office! Checkout times are usually slower than check-in, and I believe that to just be the natural process of things. The appointments themselves have always been speedy whilst still having issues I may have addressed. Dental assistants are always friendly there, as well as the X-ray techs. It’s too bad that so many folks have had super negative experiences here. So far they’ve been great to me and I do recommend this office.

I have temporarily but long term relocated to near the Berlin, VT location, and was in need of my semi-annual cleaning. Rather than skip or drive back to myprimary dentist in Boston, I attempted to schedule an appointment with Aspen.While the customer service was great, unfortunately Aspen did not consider the X-Rays that my dentist sent sufficent to waive their requirement for their own full mouth x-rays. Despite my advising that the panoramic x-rays I had sent were “full mouth,” and that my dental insurance would not cover a new set due to their guidelines, they advised that I would be required to have them done. Since it would be at my own expense, I unfortunately cancelled my appointment and will just have my cleaning done in the fall when (hopefully) I’ve returned to Boston.

In the past month Aspen Dental in Berlin VT has somehow lost or double booked and had to cancel 3 appointments I had booked in advance. Today I got an email asking me to confirm an appointment that the office had previously told me they had no record of in their books. This level of disorganization has a negative impact on patients who reschedule their work lives in order to be able to go to their scheduled appointments.

Great convenient location, friendly staff and really helpful with payment plans, options and details about my dental care. Also no judgment as someone who currently does not have dental insurance and has to pay out of pocket. Thanks to each person that saw me on my initial visit!

They were friendly and informative. Was 20 minutes past appointment when they got me in, so not to bad.The total cost of complete dental work is going to cost about 1/4 of yearly income with no dental insurance, but they will take payments. All in all a good experience.

When checking in I was asked my weight at the counter… I was really surprised this wasn’t asked in private and that I was made to share that information with the receptionist in front of other guests. This honestly was a huge red flag to me. Also upon arrival the front desk staff looked hugely stressed and it was only 8:45 am. My appointment was supposed to be only an hour but at the hour and a half point I decided to leave. No one checked in with me and people rushed in and out of the room where I was sitting without acknowledging me. The office was extremely chaotic and it made me feel really anxious. I wish someone just told me that they were running behind but instead I was just made to wait while the tech ran in and out of the exam room and avoided eye contact with me.

Really great staff, felt comfortable the whole time, affordable. Just a great dental experience all around

Today was the SECOND time Aspen called me 15 mins before my checkin that they have to cancel my appt bc they don’t have a hygienist. Don’t waste your time and go where your time is valued. No stars

As a senior citizen who had not visited the dentist for routine cleaning and perio last year due to Covid-19, I was pleased with the service I was given at Aspen Dental in Barre, VT. Although I cannot afford at this time all the procedures they recommended, we were able to work together and establish priorities. Very nice staff!

They are competent enough. Sort of. While having a temporary root canal filling filled, on two occasions I was bumped by the tech readjusting position while the doctor was drilling. At one point a filing next the one they were working on popped out. The doctor immediately surmised it was my tooths fault. They scheduled another appointment to fill it fo $325. So, if you can not get in other places... these folks will get you in at a premium price. They really are all about the money.In response... Any other dentist I have gone to would of fixed the filling that fell out right there on the spot. Your dentist said it was clean. No rot. Easy fix. But I believe your business plan of not doing any work unless paid up front prevented you from doing this. Lord forbid I stiff you for fixing something you broke.

I had an appointment, for what I thought was going to be a cleaning, at 11AM. I didnt get brought back to be seen until 11:30, not a big deal. Got x-rays done and was brought back to a room. Was in the room for over an hour waiting. When he finally came in to see me the dentist was arrogant and rude and looked at mouth for all of 5 minutes and told me it looked good and then tried to sell me invisalign and an electric toothbrush. They never cleaned my teeth and I was there for over 2 hours. When I went to check out I scheduled a cleaning for the next week and, even though I have insurance that covers cleanings, they had me put $260 deposit down for the cleaning which in total would be around $450. My boyfriend went there about a month ago, without insurance for x-rays and a cleaning and they didnt try to upset him anything, they didnt even do the 3D mouth scan (which was clearly an incentive for them to try and sell invisalign) on him and his appointment only cost $160. Not pleased at all with this dentist and will be looking for a second opinion. I will say the staff (other than the dentist) were extremely kind and apologetic for the wait time.

Update: when calling in to get my money back, not only will they not give me a refund the manager hung up on me because she did not like The fact that I was insisting on a refund because they did no work. Instead they are going to keep hundreds of dollars for nothing.Worst dentist I have ever been to. They have canceled my appointment two Fridays in a row because the person doing the work was unavailable for different reasons. We showed up to an appointment on a Saturday morning after driving two hours to get there to find the office closed and nobody around! They completely forgot our appointment and wasted our time and money! The lady who runs the front desk is an absolute grouchy monster. She is horrible with people and unwelcoming as hell. Avoid this dentist like the plague.

I had an excellent experience at Aspen Dental in Berlin, VT yesterday. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and friendly. They required everyone to wear masks in common areas, and their waiting rooms were set up to require Social Distancing.I received a thorough exam as a new patient, and Dr. De Luna even did a special favor for me!

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I had called another dentistry that said they couldnt fit me in until February 2021 but Aspen Dental scheduled me within the week. I was pretty nervous as I havent been to a dentist in a while but everyone was very comforting and kind. Highly recommend them!

They were able to fit me in immediately when my bottom denture cracked and were able to seamlessly repair them by the end of the day, at no charge.

Everyone worked hard to remove two bad teeth, I felt quite badly for the first technician who struggled to remove the tooth that kept breaking... She asked someone else to give it a go. I think she loosened it up for him, as it came out much more easily when he tried. The partial plates are quite bothersome. I hope they will settle down in a couple days, as there are pressure points on both that are causing quite a bit of pain. The doctor worked to adjust the bottom partial plate, but we may need to discuss removing a bone that is jutting out on the lower left jaw that is causing frequent pain on the bottom plate. and the top plate is rubbing painfully on my upper right side, where he adjusted it as well.

I had quite a long wait, not happy with that!! I may have to shop around!

Aspen dental in barre was amazing. I called with pain, they got me in the next day. I had a two broken teeth. They explained everything in great detail and different options for me. I was able to have the teeth pulled the same say. I am nervous when it comes to going to the dentist but they made it an easy visit! I will definitely go back.

Ive been to many dental offices throughout my life, and Ill be honest, I was apprehensive about trying out an aspen dental location at first. But after having some of the best cavity fillings done on my teeth and going through the invisalign process I can say that the work that is done here is very well. They have very inviting and positive staff that are very informative. They have worked with me to get the dental care i need and always do a great job on fitting me in for an appointment. Id recommend the Berlin location to anyone based off my experience and will continue to use them for my dental needs.

Was supposed to go in at 3pm. Got a call at 1:45pm (day of the appointment) and they cancelled it. I was very upset, and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Calie, who was rude and offered absolutely nothing to make up for my mistreatment. To make matters worse, they openly admit to filling my appointment for someone else. All because I didn’t “confirm” my appointment, but I never got an email, call, or even a text message. I even called again asking for a sooner appointment because my wisdom tooth is bothering me that much. So if you urgently need anything done dental wise, go elsewhere or you will be very disappointed.

The Service at 856, US Route 302, Unit A, Barre, VT 05641 is Very poor, they dont maintain the history of their patiences, I visited this clinoi on APR, 2018 and when I revisited them on DEC 2020, they considered me as a new patient and they didnt even check their previous records, and they conducted a test which my insurance not covered, and even I requested them very clearly well before my visit only perform tests which cover my insurance they conducted a test without properly check their records and send my a bill. Very poor service.... Its an hidden charge tome totally, as their team not maintained my history of records well and I had been charged due to missing of frequency, and finally I end up in paying the amounts...

Linda Harvey: Purchased false teeth from Aspen and went to havethem adjusted because hurting my gum. Paid $89. which was okbut told me if this did not correct the problerm would also have topay the $89. again. Could have given me 30 days to see if it was ok.

Update: Was able to get ahold of Corporate office Management and they were able to let the new manager know that you can run Care Credit without the card present. Very happy this was fixed.Wont take care credit without the card present. Very frustrating because I signed up for it because they accept it. Wasted most my day trying to get care.

I’m an Invisalign patient there. Everyone was welcoming and extremely sweet. They’re the first place that called my teeth beautiful. Everyone knows you by name and is very friendly. There’s usually a bit of a wait but I don’t think that’s too big of a deal. They’ve also taken precautions to the covid-19 outbreak and handled it very well. Overall, a great environment with great prices.

Went in to have a broken tooth extracted. The dentist was spot on with the Novocain and the procedure went relatively quickly. No complaints, I’d return again.

I went to have a lower denture made, So many dentists told me I would never have a perfect fit lower denture. ALL of them were wrong! Aspen has made me a perfect fit denture. I now can eat anything from soup to nuts! Corn on the cob, You name it I now can enjoy it .As well as the health benefit I now can enjoy . I lost weight because I can eat more healthy foods due to the fact that I can chew all of the healthy foods now that I choose.I cant thank the staff enough at Aspen Dental for the great value on a perfect fit lower denture, also the great payment plans that they have. It was truly a fast and painless experience, The best I have ever had.Again, Thank you Aspen Dental, You gave me a great smile and good health!

I waited 3 yrs to be able to have the insurance to cover my teeth. Bt the computer was saying I had multiple requests for dentures. That was because the main office ran my insurance to make sure I was covered . There for I didnt get my payers answered. Then the bill was 980 over the 1st price quoted to me. They dont stick to thier quotes. They say they do. But they dont. The dentist was very handsome and that was the only thing about going there that made me smile

To tell you the truth I was really surprised .I had another new dental hygienists and I mean new just graduated school I didn’t feel he put the time in only polished the front of my teeth and did not floss was kinda in a hurry ! I go every 4 months I expect to have things fine the same every time !

A long visit., but PLEASANT

Don’t waste your time energy or money here.Since giving them over $1600 , I have only gotten the run around.My appointments get canceled for no reason. I have to drive and hour to get there, then I wait an hour for them to ask me what my appointment was for. I’ve made molds twice, not sure why but again my time energy, and gas was wasted. I’m already looking for a new Dentist that actually CARES about their customers and more importantly their VETERANS.If I could give them no stars...... I would.

I received great care in this office! The staff here treats you like youre family and makes you feel at home. The dentist made me feel very comfortable and went over my treatment options with me and came up with a plan that best suits me and my needs at this time. They offered several payment options as well as financing options which i found very helpful. Aspen is the way to go! Im telling all my friends!!!!!

We havent had dental insurance for years. Though we tried to keep our children up to date, when time came to start putting them in college, many things fell by the side. Its hard having to make that choice, but a better chance at life than we had came first. When I was in so much pain and first went to Aspen, I NEVER felt the shame or guilt that I felt elsewhere. Everyone was so kind, caring, respectful and the facilities were spotless. I now have a proud beautiful smile. My daughter has just begun her journey with Aspen as a student and they have already shown the same care and helpfulness in working with her. I have no hesitation in recommending Aspen! Incredibly unreliable. Constantly changing your appointment to a different date a few days before youre supposed to show up. Reception doesnt seem to know whats going on in the office as they tell you one thing and then you get a call from them saying upon further review... and are told something completely different. They all seem nice but they are obviously clueless.

Staff and doctors are great. The service was also great. But, the price is way higher than other dentists. Beware.

I went back for a second filling... wasnt my first appointment, and they were adequate before, so I went back. I had a different dentist. I knew as he was doing the work it wasnt being done correctly (yeah, Ive had fillings before). I could tell the tooth wasnt cleaned out sufficiently and prepped, or packed with filling adequately. I even tried to tell him, I could feel gaps in between the filling and my tooth, and ragged ridges where it met... he didnt listen and never bothered to even checked. A month later, the filling fell out. Biggest ripoff artists in town with a bunch of cut rate dentists. Bad enough for me to actually rate them....

Sad root canal story gone wrong which ended up in an abscessed tooth that I ignored as the last dental visit was the equivalent of torture (not at Aspen). Surgeon and dental assistants were incredible! NO pain, Quick, efficient and incredibly supportive to my panicked anxious self. Some challenges with sheduling and rescheduling which impacted the experience BUT the surgery and patient care was AMAZING!

Just kind of annoying I scheduled an appointment to look at my teeth. They did an xray on my teeth and sent me on my way. What was the point of going in for ten minutes. So you could charge my insurance twice? Ridiculous.

I had a cleaning today and my hygienist was Stephanie. Ive worked with her before, and she is very careful and gentle, and did a great job. She remembered me from 6 months ago and she interjected some conversation. That really helped me to be calm and didnt feel rushed. I had a very positive experience thanks to Stephanie!

Moving to Aspen from another provider and my initial visit went well.

A very good one-stop dental shop. One doesnt need to do a buffet of dentist, endodontist, periodontist, orthodontist, yeehaadontist, all charging insane fees. You can pay insane fees for it all right here. While everyone here is very professional, one of the reasons we intend to emigrate to another country next year is the abject brokenness of the medical/dental system that causes a patient to pay a thousand dollars for what winds up being only a modest amount of time, effort and material. It *isnt* the fault of the people working here: it is the fault of the greed-obsessed CEO and directors of the owning company who dictate how much they ... charge ... for services. The service was good. The diagnosis, treatment and prognosis were are all of high quality. But in the final analysis that was hardly a thousand dollar visit yet thats what I had to pay, and frankly, that is more than I should have paid. They know it, I know it, and the CEO and board know it but the only ones who dont care would be the CEO and directors, and in terms of the entire medical dental system in this dying country, theyre THE problem.But you should still go there for your dental care. Ask about the cost first: ask to see an itemization, and ask questions about every line item you either dont understand or wonder why you need it when you have one at home. I dont say this to be arrogant. I say this because it is your money and your health.

Costs were up front and all details of my procedure and my overall dental plan were handled professionally. The worst customer service I have encountered in quite some time. Several times contacted the office concerning insurance issue, no response received (as they stated I would), next thing you know they have sent it to collections. Then I call again, once again told I will receive a call back, nothing. I receive an email to call the office, thinking the person had some resolution for me. Nope that was not the case. I had informed them previously I wanted something done about the fact they sent it to collections. Person would not provide a corporate number, and was only interested in resolving the issue which they were supposed have done 2 weeks ago. I had informed them previously I could pay, but wanted the collections issue resolved first. On another note the hygienist was a wonderful woman, but for the fact I asked if there was alcohol in the mouth wash she was providing me, and she said no. After having it in my mouth and me telling her it for sure did, she then checked the bottle. Yes there was alcohol in it. Would not recommend this place to anyone, my new dentist referred to them as the McDonalds of dental care.

Systemic professionalism.

They cancelled my appointment twice prior to my last appointment. They cancelled 5 mins before my appointment while I was sitting in the parking lot. Always took an extra 30 min to get into the chair then another 30 mins waiting to check out. My last visit they had patients leave due to the doctor not being able to see everyone. They can never figure my insurance. This place is ran poorly.

I have always been to great dentist and this is by far one of the best! I came from the south and I was impressed with the way they handled everything. I would highly recommend!

Horrible experience with my kids. Ranging from records being messed up during transfer, appointments for both kids made and then we get there and they only have one on file, we scheduled to have work done from the dentist, get there and they have fired him and never let us know that they now couldnt do the work. They cant even copy records correctly or bills correctly. I understand there a new office but seriously people need there teeth. I made a complaint through Aspen Dental Satisfaction and they were suppose to call back and NEVER have, and now I look and cant see any negative reviews when there were tons last month.....something isnt adding up here people

I was first greeted by Josslyn with a smile and put me at ease since I was at the dentist office for the first time and wasnt sure what to expect.Secondly I was greeted by Desta who took excellent care of me of taking my x-rays knowing that I have extreme pain in one of my teeth. Little to no pain during x-rays.I was greeted by Dr Morey who treated me as a person providing excellent care. I felt like I was more then a patient.Finally I had the pleasure of meeting with Brittany. We went over my treatment plan. She made every appointment in consideration to my work schedule and to make sure I got all the proper care done in a reasonable time. She answered all my questions and concerns. I am a person who not fond of a dental office but with the excellent care I received I would recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who needs Dental care .

If I could give 0 stars I would..DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. I have had to get two different outside opinions and dental work due to the major screw ups this dentist made. Even after brining me in and offering to fix my issue for free they still made the problem worse. Management has failed to contact me and consider compensating me for the issues caused. Save yourself some time and dental mistakes by skipping Aspen Dental.

The dental assistants and hygenist were great and very thorough. I like how easy it is to make an appointment at Aspen as well. My only concern was that the dentist seemed super rushed when he was checking for cavities.

Nice atmosphere, new and clean building. I did have a relatively long wait, my appointment was at 3:00 and I didnt get called in until 3:30. The hygienist that did my X-rays was very nice, and they cleaned my nightguard for me for free upon request. I had to wait about ten more minutes to see the doctor, and he did not introduce himself or speak to me at all, only came in briefly to glance at my X-rays and a 2-second look at only the occlusal surfaces of my teeth before he pronounced me healthy and prescribed just a cleaning. Which I am OK with but I also have some gum erosion I wanted to talk about and didnt get a chance to voice any concerns about. I would say make your concerns known ahead of time, because the doctor isnt going to stick around long!

Aspen Dental is a nice change and offer excellent service comfortable rooms very clean. I wish that they offered other payment options like an in-house payment plan as products are little more in cost but are good quality.

I cracked off part of a molar, leaving a very sharp, jagged tooth that tore and ulcerated my tongue. I called AspenDental on New Years Day and they had me in the chair the next morning. All X-rays and the initial consultation, which included grinding down the sharp point of the tooth, were free. My next appointment, for build-up and cap, is only days away!All the women who worked with me were delightful, comforting, and thoroughly professional. I feel lucky beyond belief to have stumbled into Dr. Moreys capable hands. Unprofessional and unforgiving scheduling - something I wont stand for. To offer and schedule Saturday appointments when the office doesnt have Saturday hours and cancel with no apology, but not allow for a family emergency is hypocritical and in poor taste. We are happy to have found a locally owned and operated, professional dental company to care for our family.

I selected Aspen because they are open later than most dentists in the area, but I have since switched to a local family practice. To switch over to their care I had to have a preliminary exam before scheduling a cleaning. It had some hidden fees that were not mentioned until I received the bill in the mail.Some of the staff were nice, but the whole place is bizarre and very corporate feeling compared to all other dentists I have been to (big tv in every room). The dentist himself didn’t introduce himself and was in and out of the room in 60 seconds.I scheduled my actual cleaning appointment, but when I showed up they told me they filed my name backwards (Lawrence Reilly) which caused them to not realize I had an appointment. This is a classic situation for someone with two first names, but it was handled weirdly with them sending me home with an afterthought thank you.I’m sure they know how to clean teeth, but definitely wouldn’t recommend to someone looking for quality care

I went in for a cleaning. It didnt take too long, however, I have a wire retainer that was virtually destroyed by the time everything was over. The person who did my cleaning said that it was perfectly normal and I was sent away with the wire sticking out so far that any time I talk, eat, or move my mouth, the wire slices my tongue. I then received a humongous bill which frustrated me even more. Every time I go to pay said bill online, I click the Make a Payment button and nothing happens. Ever. I will not go back to Aspen Dental...

Classic bait and switch! Were given a quote over the phone and drove 2 hours to be told they dont make them any more. New price was 5 times the quoted price! Staff was friendly while they lied. Very bad experience. Will make it my mission to tell people to stay away from this place!
