I came to Downtown Family Dental (DFD) of Baraboo from another practice in a much larger city. I shifted because the prior practice was clearly about reaching monetary targets and less about quality care. DFD is refreshing. The staff are professional, friendly and work well as a team. Couldnt be more pleased. I actually look forward to the next visit and Im educated and motivated on why and how I need to look after my pearly choppers. Highly recommended!

10/17/21 I had my regularly scheduled cleaning with Heidi and exam with Dr. Ganshert today. As always, the experience was positive, both professional and thorough. The office staff is top notch. As a person over 65 I totally appreciate the Covid precautions that this office has followed throughout the current pandemic. When my late husband, Brian, and I moved here from Bend, Oregon, we had experienced what I considered the best dental care of our lives. Thus, my expectations were not high; and I dont remember who referred us to DFD, but it was a gift!! Dentists and hygienists are the most professional, caring, and communicative of my experience, as well as highly skilled . And from the first contact in the (lovely) reception area, each employee displays consistent professionalism, caring, and a sense of client sensitivity. Bravo!!

I had the greatest time with my Dentist, Andrea and her Assistant yesterday!! I lost a front tooth from a fall. Not only were they able to see me right away, but were able to have a prosthetic made within 24 hours. I love going to the Dentists as I’m always treated like Royalty. Thank you

This was my first time to visit the Downtown Family Dental of Baraboo. I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The waiting room and the dental room were comfortable and decorated in a soothing, attractive manner. I was made to feel at ease as x-rays and the exam were performed. The office seems to use the latest technologies to get an accurate assessment of my dental needs. Dr. Ganshert took the time to thoroughly explain to me her recommended treatment plan. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist in the Baraboo area.

We recently moved to the Baraboo area and needed a new family dentist. Having previously worked at a dentist office myself I had pretty high expectations :) - Downtown Family Dental blew us away!! They have thee best and friendliest staff. Our kiddos both needed a small filling done and as expected were a tad nervous. The dental assistants were phenomenal!!! Even our 5 and 4 year old both said the ladies were so nice :)We would recommend this office in a heartbeat! No complaints at all! Very pleased with our experience there so far!

I found everyone there very caring and understanding. Everyone of the staff took their time to make sure you were comfortable and understood everything that was going on. Love that they so concern about the financial needs of their patients and offer several ways to pay. Including Dental Program Membership. Which I am very grateful for them for having.

We recently moved to Baraboo and chose Downtown Family Dental when our daughter fell and chipped her tooth. It was a great experience from the moment we walked into the door. The Dental Assistant, Coty, was phenomenal and helped my almost two year old through her appointment with ease. We will be bringing our entire family here from now on.

The staff at Downtown Family Dental are always very friendly. They are accommodating and sincere. They care about you as a person. My only request is for dental floss and chapstick in my goodie bag. They take great care of me, and I highly recommend them! !

I have moved to Vermont and continue to come to doctor Ganshert for my teeth maintenance. I am very finicky when it comes to maintaining my teeth. Bad teeth and gums will kill you early. I make advance appointments and everything goes very smooth and painlessly. All of the people are very friendly and accommodating.

I have been going to Family Dental since 1996 (Dr. Koehn then) after a more than a 10 yr. absence In the dentists chair. The staff then right up until this morning have been great. I have not missed a 6 mo. check up since way back then. See you in January!

They know my situation and I have been a very good customer for them, but when it comes to me having a hard time in my life and having a bill of $150 or so they wont work with me on payments and turned me into collection!!! What a joke and I will be damned if I will pay my bill now, because its against my credit now, just what I didnt need!! Thanks for such crappy service Robin and Ryan!!!

They are very friendly and love to educate patients.A year later, and I still love Downtown Family Dental of Baraboo, WI. The staff are very professional and friendly. DFD offers a very cool annual package deal that cuts the costs and makes coming here easy on the pocketbook.

I love this dental office, was a patient since circa 1993, and always enjoyed the friendly and caring staff, beginning with the Reception. I was a bit sad when Dr. Konen had retired - he was an outstanding dentist and a very nice person. Today I received help from a new team member - a wonderful young dentist Brianne Schwartz. Both she and Coty took absolutely amazing care of my broken tooth. The doctor has clearly explained all my options and did a beautiful job on the filling I picked. Although I declined the anesthesia, I experienced absolutely no pain or discomfort during the procedure. It was actually a very relaxing and nice experience for me!! Thank you so much everyone!

I had an appointment today at Downtown Family Dental with Dr Amanda Ganshert. This was my first dental appointment in several years and I primarily needed to know if a med my doctor wanted for me to take was suitable considering my dental conditions. Fortunately I did because Dr Ganshert suggested that it could possible pose some future dental risks. I have decided to go with that recommendation and will not take the med. My exam and xrays were mostly uneventful. One cavity showed up. Not to bad for four or five years. Most of my problems I have been aware of for several years now and I mostly elect not to address at this time. Quite surprisingly when I spoke that I might be interested in pulling several teeth and getting a lower partial Dr Ganshert suggested that because of the condition of my lower gums not being a good candidate for that procedure she would recommend that I try and make do with what I have for as long as I could. So she basically left about two grand on the table. That is consummate professionalism. Kudos to her.Everyone from the front desk to Dr Ganshert were also kind, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend this doctor and this dental program.

Katie, the Hygenist, explained all the steps she was taking for my 6 month checkup. I loved the fact that the staff contacted me of an opening due to a cancellation .Ryan, the Business mgr, spent a great deal of time expaining the Dental Membership Program that is now offered and showed me the savings over my current dental insurance. Definitely would recommend Downtown Family Dental !Thank you again, Paul.

Dr. Ganshert was great, however Tony in the office was very rude on several occasions. My husband called to ask for a referral and Tony was very rude and even hung on him. I called the office to talk them. I also got spoken to very rudely and hung up on. I called later and spoke with another lady in the office and told her we would not be coming there anymore. She was nice about it but said okay. They obviously did not care. We never received an apology and found a new dentist.

Staff was courteous and professional, makes visiting the dentist a pleasant experience.

They were so patient with my 4 year olds incessant chatter. She said when she left that she wasnt scared anymore! I work here and am always terrified my kids will be the worst to work on...
