Out of ALL the WCCU branches Ive only ever had issues with the Baraboo branch. My account hasnt gone negative in 7 years!! Wanted to put a hold on a check because of an old loan that I had no control over! (It was a car loan that my ex got in the divorce and he didnt pay it essentially hurting my credit) then tells me to go to a different branch. WOW. I get direct deposit and you can see all my transactions. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

When I asked for a withdrawal slip, it was to get a private amount out of my account. Please keep that in mind when a customer has a passenger in his or her vehicle. We don’t always want to announce the amount of money we are taking out

I needed a business account and they didnt cry about my credit score the way HCU ( Heritage Credit Union) did!! Also, everyone that we have dealt with at WCCU has been extremely helpful in our needs. When it came to buying property for our future home, WCCU didnt look at us like a problem the way HCU did. Whenever there was an issue with a red flag on our account due to hackers, WCCU was right there without batting an eye. We have 4 accounts through WCCU and plan on staying with them for years to come.Thank you WCCU for your great service 😁👍

This bank is the worst probably the worst credit union in Wisconsin. They definitely don’t have customer service training at all and I’m switching banks ASAP

By far the worst bank I have ever had. Not military friendly at all! would not work with me when it came to deployments or training events etc.. I made the smart move by switching to Navy Federal Credit Union and will never look back. They work hard to make YOU happy and can be reached 24/7 and can fix any issue. If you are able to qualify for an account there I strongly recommend you do it.

So As always the banking systems are down, which no a surprise but honestly I just got off the phone with Amanda and let me tell you she has horrible customer service and she had an attitude with me. If y’all could please tell your employees to better their customer service that would be great. Also get better systems or I’m leaving and I’ll find a better bank.

This review is not based solely on a single instance, however, I finally got pushed over the edge. Ill keep it short and sweet. The customer service is extremely lacking at this branch. They make it seem like they could care less about their members when you visit them. There are many banks/credit unions out there and I am half tempted to start looking for one who actually cares about their customers.

This credit union/bank is by far the worst bank I have ever worked with and I have never dealt with. Definitely the worst customer service in my entire life (and I even work in the customer service industry)! I, unfortunately, have had a car loan with WCCU for the past 4 years now and there is not a single hoop you have to jump through to keep them happy - yes you heard that right - YOU must keep THEM happy, not the other way around. And if WCCU makes a mistake, or if you want something done, well sit tight because its going to be a long ride. Youll have to call, message, email, and/or contact them in a multitude of ways, at the very minimum 101 times, until they only begin to understand what you want. Youll also have to talk to at least 5 different people before you get your answer every single time you call. And if you do manage to finally get them to do what you ask, itll take at least a week or so before you see any results.The consistency of what they tell their customers their “rules or policies” are, are absolutely asinine. One minute customers are allowed to do this, and the next it’s something completely different.Oh, and if you want to make any changes to your account information, well you can just forget it. Let’s say for example you move far away and you get a new phone number. Even if you can confirm who you are over the phone with multiple identifications (SSN, account #, drivers license number, address, etc) that still doesn’t matter; You actually have to show up in person and confirm your identity to change any account information. Ive been a customer of a handful of banks/credit unions, security companies, and have had to deal with a couple credit card companies. However, there are none that come to mind in terms of the amount and magnitude of hoop jumping you have to go through just to change simple account details such as a phone number or address. The military isnt even this extensive when you need to change your address or phone number! Its just absolutely ridiculous! I get having to keep my information safe, and believe me Im all for that, but WCCU goes too far and impedes customer care.If I would have known of all these problems with this WCCU before I purchased my car loan with them I would have rather road my bike to work every day. This company is trash. Don’t ever do business with them. Youll never get anywhere.

I opened an account yesterday Thurs Dec. 20th all was good til I realized that I didnt get a debit card, they assumed I was going to eawa 2 or 3 weeks for one !! Christmas is in how many days,had to walk to get one , cant use it til the 22nd !! NICE,!!!

There seems to be a problem with the direct depositing system, to no surprise, and i’ve called twice now within hours apart. i’m trying to check in persistently to see if there’s anything they can tell me and if anything’s improved. i was connected by phone with an employee at the baraboo location by the name Amanda, and she copped a major attitude with me when i simply asked if anything had improved. not impressed and i may be switching banks if the problems continue. step up wccu we’re all irritated.

Very rude teller. Took forever to apply payment making it sound like she wasnt even sure if she was going to find my account. Unvelievable! Then didnt even thank me for the business at the end of transaction.
