We were amazed by the beautiful appearance of Oak Park Place when we first visited before transferring care to the facility for a dear friend of ours. After a few weeks at the facility, it was clear that the staff and people at the facility truly enjoy what they do and take great pride in every aspect of daily life there. The staff were kind and compassionate during every interaction, with open and frequent communication. The view was incredible, with lots of wildlife and greenery. We would highly recommend Oak Park Place to anyone looking for a dependable community for your loved one. Thank you for all you do!

I moved to Oak Park Place in 2018 with my husband. He moved to Autumn Lane Memory Care and I moved to their Independent Living. My husband died in 2020. The staff were so caring and compassionate to him. Independent living apartments are spacious the views are beautiful. The activities are fun and there are lots of outings on the bus. The maintenance and housekeeping crew are amazing and take care of all your needs. I highly recommend.

My parents chose to live at Oak Park Place when it was time to move out of their home of 41 years. They had visited ahead of time and put their name on a waiting list. My parents first started out in a beautiful independent living 3rd floor apartment facing the bluffs. They loved their apartment and all the friends they meet. They already knew many people at Oak Park. They met many more through all the activities and dinner time meals together.When my father became ill with congestive heart failure and my mother wasn’t able to care for him alone. Oak Park worked with us to move into hospice and respites care. My mother didn’t drive anymore and it was important for her to visit with my dad. They had been married 61 years!❤️. After my father passed a way, my mother needed more assistance. We were able to move her into the assisted living wing. Altogether now, it’s been 8 years living at Oak Park Place. They have wonderful larger rooms for family to gather and celebrate holidays and special events. Our family has only very positive praise for them and there very caring staff. They strive to be a family. AND they are!!! They have taken precautions during COVID to keep everyone safe! It’s been outstanding! Thank you for your wonderful care of my mother and my father. I moved to Oak Park Place Independent Living August of 2016, in January of 2021 I transferred to Autumn Lane to recover from a stroke and last Friday was able to transfer to the Grove Assisted Living. Throughout my journey the OPP staff has been kind and compassionate. They treat you like family. The food is good here and there are several activities offered throughout the day to keep busy. The view out my window is just beautiful, you can see deer and other wildlife and lots of birds. I would highly recommend Oak Park Place senior living community.

My Mother-in-law has been in the independent living area at Oak Park Place Baraboo for over 7 years. Her apartment is modern and meets her needs. She regularly cooks and has a small group that meets weekly to share dinner and stories. She has friends throughout the complex so she is never really alone. The staff is friendly and responsive to the needs of the residents. Now that some Covid restrictions have been lifted the staff is back to organizing events, such as a cruise-in car show and bingo. Highly recommend a person to check this facility out when the time comes to move out of their home and move into a senior facility.

We moved to OPP in 2017, love it here. We are able to remain very independent. It is our home.the staff and residents are like family.

My mother recently moved into an independent apartment at Oak Park Place. This community is absolutely incredible!!! As my mother said I am amazed, they thought of everything to make living a breeze! Hand rails and comfy seats where you need them, indoor parking, beautiful apartments and common areas, great food and friendly people. The staff has been just wonderful, kind, compassionate and inclusive. She couldnt be happier!

Choosing the right place for our mom has been one of the most difficult decisions we have made. Our mom suffered a stroke and needed the necessary facility that would give her the love, care and attention that she needed. Now try this process with a nationwide pandemic. Definitely not an easy process without it but even worse with it. We knew that she would be best moving back to the area she raised our family and be closer to family that could visit her more often. Plus hearing the word Baraboo just warmed her heart. Reading reviews and being in close contact with the placement staff made this decision an easier choice. We were set to have her go to a different facility but when we met with the placement staff, we just could not move forward. We are grateful for the love and care our mom receives everyday. This facility has been wonderful with communicating with family as well as addressing concerns and needs. There is a beauty salon and our mom loves Jennifer for those extra special weekly beauty moments. We are looking forward to the time when we can be with her for more than just a short visit. I love the staff at Oak Park.they have such caring, compassionate staff workers.Great customer services, friendly and willing to listen.There are so many staff members to mention.Brittney in administration providing leadership, with a calm, smiling face.Michelle & Stacy out there educating community members resources that area available for them. Floor Nurses who are amazing, well educated and providing care, and support to families. the Activity dept is awesome! I always see activities going on with residents participating when i visit.nursing assistants go above and beyond.This is a facility you could place a loved one and feel comfortable you made the right decision!

Weve been here for about 6 months. We love it here. No worries about shoveling etc. We feel very safe. Food is very good. I love not having to cook! But if I do want to cook the kitchen is very efficient. Love it!

My father has lived here for ten years - a rarity in elder-care living! Oak Park has been a Godsend for him and for his family. We are so thankful. The best part about the independent living side is that he can be involved with as many-or as few - activities as he chooses. Theres no pressure, but many opportunities. My dad has been in assisted living for a few weeks now and is feeling very secure in his new surroundings. Ive been coming to Oak Park Place for over 5 yrs now as an Agrace hospice aide. I am so impressed with the staff, the care of the residents, and the cleanliness of the entire building. Everyone is so sweet here! The activities department is just amazing! There is so much to do here, and it feels like a warm family environment. I would recommend OPP for your loved ones.

We purchased an Amazon Fire for my parents, happy residents at OPP. Michelle Burch in Activities was extremely helpful in helping my mom get it all set up. It is so important for them to keep in touch with family. Michelle went above and beyond in working with and teaching my Mom the new device (many hours). Thanks to Michelle, we can now zoom with my mom and dad. OPP is so very fortunate to have Michelle as a caring, patient, pleasant employee.

Lived here for 4 months. Staff is really responsive and interested in all residents. Meals are great, with lots of variety. Especially the ribs and sausage and sauerkraut. Maintenance is terrific, very knowledgeable and friendly. So glad we made the move. While Covid requires some restrictions, we will get past it and be able to meet and greet all who live here.

The most amazing place and staff! My husbands parents entered during COVID19 and they did a great job keeping them safe. The staff is very kind, caring and compassionate. When my husbands father deteriorated, they were amazing in getting them moved to assisted living and helping to get hospice care. Would highly recommend Oak Park Place!!

My Mom has been at Oak Park place for a year in memory care.As you know there was a awhile we could not see her. Im starting my 7th year here. The staff have been great to my husband and me. My husband was in memory care for almost 4 yrs. The care staff were the greatest! I still get a hug from many of them. I was not from the Baraboo area and came here because my family was near. The residents here have accepted me and I can call many of them great friends.

Our Mother is treated like a Queen at Oak Park Baraboo. Mom is in memory care (Autumn Lane) Ciara and Victoria love our Mother Irene H. as if they were her daughters. Everyone at Oak Park care for our Mom as if she was their Mom. Thank you SO MUCh for loving her and caring for her .

I recently attended the Drive By Pie Fundraiser for the Alzheimer Dementia Alliance. What an awesome idea for a much needed program. I drove up, gave my donation and was handed my pie with a smile and a heartfelt thank you. I am not going to lie, I wish the pie tasted more handmade but I know my donation went to a good cause and that is all that matters.

Ive worked at OPP for over 1 1/2 years now. Im the driver,taking residents to their appts,and I LOVE my job! Its wonderful getting to know the residents, and it blesses me to help them out whenever I can. 💖

My dad is a resident here at the Oaks. The team(Michelle) helps us keep in touch. With moving in during a pandemic the team made it as stress free and reassuring as possible. They are trying to keep activities and some sort of social normal for the residents. Thanks to them for handling the craziness.

We feel very safe and well taken care of at Oak Park Place, we have been here in the Independent Living community since October, 2019 and we have a beautiful apartment overlooking the Baraboo Bluffs. If we ever need anything they have excellent people working here that help us. Our meals are very good, adequate and nutritious. If we want anything all we have to do is ask. Every person working here is pleasant and kind.

Ive been working in the beauty shop at OPP for the past 5 years. I love all of the residents and the staff are very helpful.

You should pay your staff more so they can tip the delivery drivers. The delivery driver does not get the delivery fee and makes 4 an hour.

Oak Park Place in Baraboo, Wisconsin is a very wonderful senior community! The setting and grounds are beautiful as well as the interior design. But most importantly, the care and compassion of the staff are paramount! My Aunt had wonderful care along with fun and entertaining activities from her first day as a resident to her final day in this lifetime. I would highly recommend this caring community to any senior looking for their next home.

My mother was living at the Baraboo facility for almost two years. I cannot say enough about the administration and staff. They are professional and the most caring people and go way above their duties. My mother made many friends with the staff and thee care she received at the end of her life was amazing. The facility is clean, food is good and has several amenities on site. There is at least 5 or more activities per day that she could attend. One of her favorites was Friday evening music with a glass of wine. She loved the pampering of having her nails painted also. I wish I could name every staff member that made my mother’s time a memorable experience, but it would be too many. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one’s care.

My parents lived in the assisted living facitity for several years. The staff was compassionate and caring. They treated my parents like family. The activities were great for my dad and he was very involved and made many new friends while he was there. Everyone was very helpful to my mom after my dad passed away and helped her to adjust to him being gone. As a daughter, I highly recommend this facility. It gave me peace of mind that my parents were in a great place with great care by excellent people.

Unfortunately he passed away so I started inquiring as a widow for the independent living community.I have always been greeted with smiles and positive thoughts. Its like talking with your family. With every visit, I felt that Oak Park Place really loves their residents. It was a joy to see this interaction.

My Mother-in-Law has been a resident at the Memory Care wing at Oak Park Place since May 2018. We moved her from Madison, sold her home and car, and on top of that she was a long time smoker. She was, understandably, very upset and angry. To say the least, the first few months were very challenging for her, the staff and our family.What was very apparent was that she had been alone for too long. To fast forward to the present, she has “blossomed”. She has made friends with both the staff and other residents. She participates in activities. She is no longer an angry woman. She has told me numerous times how much she likes the staff and the food!The nursing staff and aides at Oak Park Place have been wonderful. They have been patient and kind. I couldn’t think of a better “home away from home” for our loved one to be.

So happy that we chose Oak Park Place for my mother! The staff is very caring and personable. The administration is approachable and ready to answer any questions or concerns. They provide lots of activities, great food and live entertainment for Friday Happy Hour. My mom loved her stay at Oak Park and I would recommend it to others looking for a beautiful setting for their loved one.

Food is unacceptable sometimes, and not hot or on time. Served wrong meals. Staff is great, but unfriendly management.

On December 19, 2019, Oak Park Place Baraboo continued its tradition of sponsoring and hosting the annual Holiday Sing Along. Pianist Zach Ott, circulation supervisor at the Baraboo Public Library, and vocalist Katie James, Wisconsin Dells High School choir teacher, led the large audience in seasonal favorites. This year, pianist Gretchen Roltgen, a Baraboo Public Library circulation assistant, joined them to perform a few four-handed piano duet pieces with Zach.Oak Park Place personnel were on hand to make sure everyone was comfortable and had a song book with the evening’s selections. The public areas were delightfully decorated for the holiday season. I recently attended an event, and had an opportunity to tour, and what an impressive Senior living community. The residents reported how much they love living there, staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the facility is outstanding.

I have lived in Baraboo all of my married life and when I moved to Oak Park Place, I realized I already knew eleven people who had chosen this as their home too. I have met people who had taken a similar path as mine. People, who have backgrounds much the same as mine. I have made new friends and have old friends as well.I enjoy the protection of a wonderful apartment, special parking for my car, meals, entertainment and still enjoy old friendships of our community.Oak Park Place has provided me with a place to welcome my friends and family. We just moved my mother into the Baraboo Assisted Living unit this week. The staff have been so wonderful and attentive to her. They also made an extra effort to help our family through the move. I have every expectation that she’ll be well cared for and that this is the right place for her to call home.

What a pleasure it is to work at Oak Park Place in Baraboo. The focus is on providing the best quality of life for our residents. It feels great when family members come to me and say how happy they are that they chose Oak Park Place and what a positive difference it has made in their loved ones life.

Most of the ads are good with helping mom when and where it is needed. They have actives to keep her busy from after breakfast to before supper. They feed them three meals a day and two snacks a day. Their laundry is done once or twice a day. Mom is happy most of the time.

We attended the Holiday Craft Bazaar on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed touring the community, visiting with the residents and staff. What a beautiful community.
