I would recommend Dr. Asdourian HIGHLY.I developed a severe spinal infection in 2014. We had been in California visiting family- a trip I can not remember because I was so ill and infected. I saw a physician in a small community hospital who misdiagnosed me.Once home, my husband immediately took me to Dr. Asdourian, because we knew he would prescribe the correct diagnostic tools to get an accurate diagnosis and treat me accordingly.I was diagnosed with diskitis, a serious spine infection. I was in the OR for over 7 hours that 1st day, as Dr. A was washing out the infection in my spine & removing some of the bone as well.I was in ICU for a wk, the regular hosp. for a week, then on the acute rehab floor for a week, so I could re-learn the ADL skills i had totally lost due to the infection.Dr. Asdourian saved my life. 3 wks & 3 days after i was admitted, I was finally discharged home. I was able to walk again, use my hands and think coherently again. It was the scariest event Ive ever been through in my life, but by the grace of God, Dr. Asdourian, his team and the entire ortho, nursing, PT, OT on 8E, intensive care, acute rehab, endocrine and medical staffs- I thank you with my entire body, heart and soul .I at one time was a rehabilitation nurse, so I worked with MANY different ortho and neurosurgeons. I am so happy that my family entrusted Dr. Asdourian with my care. I recommend him to EVERYONE who has spinal issues.Lisa Eberlein

Dr. Asdourian took the time to explain my problem, he was conservative and did not rush into suggesting surgery. I was very pleased. thank you

This man saved my ability to walk twice. Once I broke L5 as a gymnast and, like an idiot, walked around with it broken for years until it had migrated 60%. He immobilized it and fused it when I was 17. I am 43. I had two children without any issues. I have had literally zero issues with that injury/surgery in 26 years. A couple of numb spots on my big toes. Nothing, really.I also had a neck injury in 2000. I avoided surgery to repair anything too long again, but he fixed it beautifully anyway. I had been beginning to lose control of my legs from the degradation of the neck injury. He and his amazing teammate Dr. Dorai, the neurosurgeon, made me functional again. Its been four years since the surgery. Its still a beautiful thing.I recommend him most highly.
