Pearl looked excellent! Groomed so evenly I couldn’t believe the patience and interest the groomer had. Tough subject. Not hostile but not always cooperative. Smells good, looks great and believe she feels better(she’ll never admit it). Independent critter(knows she’s smarter than me).

Bentley had an amazing time for his three day retreat at Kennelwood! I received great pictures from his puppy play time and a report card singing his praises. We will DEFINITELY be back and sharing our great experience with friends!

Took our dog, Nestley, here for grooming today for the first time. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. He had a recent bad experience with another groomer, and today was 1000% better. Our groomer Lori was great, and made sure to spend time speaking with me when I dropped Nestley off, to make sure that all questions were answered up front. She also noticed his anxiety with clippers, and she was happy to use scissors for more of his cut than she anticipated would be necessary. He is now happily showing off his new style 😎

Having recently moved to the area, Kennelwood on Mason Lane truly accommodated me with a next-day grooming appointment. Our Duke came back looking great. Look forward to many more visits!

A decade of phenomenal experiences here. Every employee I have ever met is kind, professional and truly cares. This past week my pet had some medical issues and they went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. They have a very tough industry to be in - but these people always have a smile on their face and my pet looks forward to going here. Dogs are family and so are the people who care for them. Five star service. Highly recommend.

My usual kennel was booked up & I was a little nervous using a different one, but my dogs seemed to do just fine. Kennelwood employees make all the difference with their love of dogs; the place was clean and comfortable. I recommend this kennel.

I was delayed out of town so I couldn’t pick up Harley on my chosen date. It was no problem even though I could not provide a definite pick up day. Harley looked happy when I picked him up. He had lost a few pounds which he needed to loose. We tend to give him too many table scraps. I will definitely use Kennelwood Resorts again.

Met Greg last week for an evaluation and was impressed by his professionalism and ease of handling my rambunctious dog.Today was my first drop off for my dog’s training. Everyone was friendly and very efficient.So far, I’m impressed with Kennelwood and have high hopes of having a better behaved dog!

My dog, Beary has been boarded, groomed, and loved at Kennelwood on Mason Lane since he was a puppy.Sadly, last month at age 12 1/2 he passed away in his sleep.Beary’s favorite thing was going to day camp at Kennelwood. He loved playing with other dogs, but most of all, he was so excited when he was greeted with love and affection by the staff when we arrived for his play day.Today, I stopped by to let the wonderful employees know that he has passed. I felt their shared emotional grief, and they said that they had been thinking about him lately.Thank you for loving my beautiful and very fun dog.

I have been going to Kennelwood for approximately 30 years with a variety of dog breeds & have found that the groomers are very responsive to my requests & do an excellent job. We also board at the Mason Road location & we are very pleased with the care given to our dogs. The front desk staff as well as those that answer the phones are very helpful & professional & I would highly recommend their services.

The trainers, grooming, intake staff are all wonderful to work with. We have been going here for years. Started at 8 week Old pup, for training and grooming. 7 years in, they continue to provide excellent service.

Always a great experience! We seldom have Ruby, our Kennelwood-trained Rottweiler mix, professionally bathed or boarded, but when we do we always leave her at the Mason Road location where we are confident that our big strong girl will be cared for with kindness and enthusiasm. We trust our dogs with Kennelwood. Many of the staff have been with this location since we began taking our dogs in 2008 for daycamp, training and boarding. They are always professional, caring, friendly and responsive. Great staff at Mason Lane!

Our long haired cat needed grooming to remove some bad mattes after moving cross country. The staff i spoke with over the phone were all very friendly and helpful. Setup as a first time customer only took a few minutes and they even went out of their way to contact our previous vet in california to obtain her records instead of asking me to put them all together and bring them in. After picking her up and seeing the results, my wife and I were very satisfied. We will definitely be bringing our other animals here in the future.

Great service. My dogs love going here. I also take them for training. Greg is an amazing trainer. Highly recommend him for training. He is great with your dog and yourself. He makes a point to help understand what is going on with your dog and how you impact your dog behavior.

I felt bad leaving my babies at a kennel however we were quickly put at ease. We received daily pictures with comments on how they were doing and their daily activities. We saw the “suite” they would be staying in and there were plenty of pads, covers and pillows for my 2 dogs. They truly seemed happy staying at Kennellwood. They were bathed and smelled great when we picked them up. I highly recommend this location for your next pets stay! I recommend this location for short or long stays for your babies. You won’t be disappointed 😉

We could not be happier with our first experience at Kennelwood. We recently moved from Chicago which meant our dog Otto was already under a lot of stress. We had a wedding out of state, so we needed to board him and after some research decided to give Kennelwood on Mason Lane in Ballwin a try. I know what Otto looks like when hes happy and in every photo they sent me, I could tell he was loving life. It was such a relief to receive the updates, see him playing with the other dogs, going for walks, etc. He looked so happy, was clean and brushed and calm when we picked him up. I dont really know what else to say other than thank you to kennelwood! Well be back!

I am basing my review on my dog. She use to get so upset at the previous groomer I took her to. She would shake when she realized where she was. The last time we pulled in the parking lot she got so upset, she peed on my lap. I knew we had to make a change. I decided to try Kennelwood. My dog has never had a problem with going in Kennelwood. In fact she goes in willingly. I really like the way Angel does her haircut. My dog, Gizmo, seems to like Angel and Audra very much. Gizmo is still not fond of certain things done to her for her grooming, but she has never gotten upset when we pull in. So thats all I need. If Gizmo is happy, everybody is happy 😊. Good job!

I sent all 3 of my dogs for the first time to Kennelwood, and the service was great! I really like the convenience of online scheduling, the drop off/pickup (an employee comes out to get your dog and brings them back to you for pickup), paying over the phone, and being able to pick the dogs up anytime before they close after theyre done being groomed. The dogs look and smell amazing - theyre really happy :).

Cindy is our favorite groomer, but everyone is great and super helpful with our stubborn large breed dogs!

They are gentle with my little dogs (9-10# each) and that is key. My only point for consideration is when I ask for them to trim down to 1/4 inch they came back shaved to almost no hair. Frustrating as I don’t think any dog looks good with a shaved body. But, on the positive side, it means they don’t need to go back for a groom for at least 2 weeks longer than usual. They just didn’t look so fab for the Easter weekend😂. Again, the gentleness of the groomer is key and they have that in spades! I have tried Other groomers across Chesterfield and my dogs come home stressed and often with not-so-great cuts. FYI - Kennelwood (Mason) is really great with Standard Poodles too. I had three and Kennelwood was wonderful with them and understood the different looks available for their grooms.

Our fox hound has never smelled better. The folks at Kennelwood take good care of her. She even got a report card with all As. So cute.

Kennel wood Mason Lane took excellent care of my husky over 4th of July weekend and accolades an earlier than scheduled pick up time which was very helpful. Will be a returning customer.

Took our dog for an overnight stay and grooming. He clearly had a good time since he was very happy and peppy and then crashed on the couch when he got home :) and he smelled incredibly good from his bath and was so fluffy and clean! I loved getting the little report cards about how he did too.

Went in for a grooming. Our third trip and always satisfied. This time I think they had a second grader do the grooming. Shaved our golden doodle and cut her eyelashes. A definite no-no. Terrible job!!Will never go back

We dropped off our two pups today for grooming knowing that they would need to be spot shaved because of some matting. However after 7 HOURS of waiting for them to be ready, we were given two completely shaven dogs that had AWFUL cuts around their faces. its like they didnt even brush them or anything. I have never seen my dog with such a bad cut. Lisa and Christine completely botched my beautiful doodles. Cindy normally cuts their hair and does and amazing job but sadly they probably wont be going back to her because of how awful this is.

Kennelwood Staff is the best! From the trainers to the groomers every person that interacts with my dog, Louie Jay, does it with love. He loves coming here and I know that he is safe and will receive the best care available.

Huge disappointment!!!This is my first time using Kennelwood for boarding, I typically use Williamsburg Kennels. I am very disappointed! Due to their lack of communication, I will miss a wedding this weekend. The lady I confirmed my reservation with via telephone confirmed had me email her my pets records. She looked at them and said “good” my dog had the influenza shot.When I arrived to drop me pet off today a girl came out to process my drop off. She asked me a few questions and I told her that I had emailed everything to the lady I spoke to by phone. She proceeded to tell that the lady doesn’t work at their location (I would not know this??? I was not aware that it was a remote confirmation person taking the reservation).Needless to say if they would have done their job and checked all the paperwork the prior to my pets arrival, they would’ve been able to contact me and let me know my dog needed up-to-date shots. I could have easily handled this.I would never use Kennelwood Ballwin and recommend they re-train their employees to get all paperwork reviewed prior to the animals arrival.

We are beyond excited at how well behaved our puppy is after only 2 days! I can’t wait to see how far he comes after he completes his training!!

The staff is super compassionate with my elderly quirky dog. He’s shy and nervous and also has a number of sensitive spots that he doesn’t like to be touched. Plus, he’s a huge hairy (part German shepherd) dog - so not an easy one to groom! From entry to exit, they treated him with patience and care. Cindy has groomed him for years and has taken the time to really understand him. She does an amazing grooming job - even when I bring him in shaggy and full of mats. He leaves happy and handsome!

Great place for you fur babies

I take my dog here for grooming. My pet isn’t very friendly but Angel does really well with him. He usually needs to be muzzled but he’s so comfortable with Angel that she can do his hair without having to muzzle him. I highly recommend her and Kennelwood pet Resort.

Wish you could go in with your dog to drop off, first time grooming for our pup and she was pretty nervous. But was happy when we picked her up and she smelled great and her nails were filed.

Weve been taking our dogs for years to the Mason location for grooming/shedx. We go to Dianne, she is the sweetest lady, is so good with our dogs and does a great job!

Loved this place!!!! They took amazing care of our fur babies while we were on vacation. They sent us photo messages and text message of our boys and we are very thankful. We will definitely board again next time we go out of town! :)

Angel was absolutely wonderful with my dog. He is 10 months old and very skittish. He had been told not to return to three other grooming facilities. Angel said he was skittish but she worked with him and he was fine. I would have given her a hug if it wasn’t for COVID. Great job.

Diane is the Absolute Best!!!! Gino and I love her and she takes very good care of my puppy when I drop him off. He likes to do Doggy Daycare in the morning and finish his visit being groomed and pampered by the very best! I prefer Diane. However, if she is unavailable any groomer will do a great job.

I have nothing but praise for Kennelwood. We have two boxers and Matt at Mason Lane has trained both. The place (and the training) is beyond expectations.

My Ellie loved being at Kennelwood. She is a whole new dog. When I brought her for training I was at my wits end. I thought I was going to have to find her a new home. She is now calm and follows commands. Greg did an incredible job. His patience and persistence paid off for both Ellie and myself. I had things to learn too. The support staff is incredible as well. I couldn’t be happier with her progress. I have a whole new dog!

Our rescue dog was quite unruly and difficult to handle. We had a training session with Greg, and using his technique, the dog is much better. We are hoping for the best in the long term.

Diane takes such great care of Harrison! Only uses a scissors because he was a rescue pup and very fearful! She is so caring with my little guy! Love her!

After looking at a few kennels and talking to others, this was *by far* the best option. I have a large breed dog that boarded for 3 nights and the dog was very happy when I picked him up - no sign of anxiety or disease. Every interaction I had was pleasant. Based on my limited experience I would recommend Kennelwood.

I took my dog to Kennelwood for a bath, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning. The drop-off and pick-up went quickly and smoothly, and my dog was clean and happy at the end. The price seemed reasonable. I will definitely use Kennelwood again.

Haley P., the groomer here at Mason has been taking AMAZING care of my girl Lucy for awhile now and every time I come in Haley always makes me feel so special. She’s a one of a kind person and I appreciate her so much for taking such good care of Lucy. We will keep coming back once a month just because we enjoyed our experience with Haley 110%. She is sooo awesome and I totally recommend having her bath or groom your dog. She handles the dog with care and tries to decrease the stress (while we all know grooming is stressful on a dog). Haley takes her time out of the time to spend quality time and still get the job done without rushing the dog off and on the table to receive “money”. I’ve worked along side a lot of groomers and I’ve never come across a groomer like Haley. I hope the best for her and she’ll be seeing Lucy as a regular now and a request:). We took our puppy in to find out about training. Ashlee was so helpful! We had Sashas picture taken with Santa. Everyone was so patient with our 4 month old wild girl. We are going to set up training. We need help! Greg will be the trainer and looking forward to his help.

The groomers always do a great job and you can tell they take their time. Recently they did a fantastic job helping my pup who hates getting groomed and which we had failed attempts at two other places.

The staff at Kennelwood take wonderful care of dog. He’s even going there for doggy day Camp since he was 5 months old. We also have been doing training there with Greg for the last 5 months, and he is like a new dog now! So thankful for how far he’s come.

I brought my 3 month old Golden Retriever to his first Puppy Play date and he is worn out! Not only did he get a bath, nail trim, a toy and cute bandana, but he also was able to socialize with other dogs all day long. The drop off and pick up process at the Mason Lane location was a breeze. The staff was amazing and the groomer even wrote a little report card letting me know how he did. Can’t wait to bring Murray back!

The staff works incredibly hard to make our rescues feel safe and loved while they are at Kennelwood. It’s not just a job for them it’s almost a calling . The training is good but the support staff are great.
