They need to have assistant to wash hair and blow dry the clients and answer the phone. The salon would be better organized if the stylist did not have to stop every few seconds. I noticed that none of the stylist had an assistant to wash the hair assistants are used a most hair salons. They would also be able to have more people leave the salon quicker if they had someone designated to wash the hair and roller set the hair. I hope they are better organized in the future.The stylist that I used was Juana and she is very talented. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have been to many salons( mostly Dominican style) in all of New York,but they are the best here. Any type of hair care, see Connie or Juana. They become like family. They are sweet and are perfect in their skill because they do it with love and professionalism. Must go there.

I love the new looks salon, especially hairstylist Monique. Monique is clean, professional and is exceptionally creative and talented. She creates the most flattering hair styles for me. She keeps her skills current always offering me a new look and a personal touch. Shes one of a kind!

Last Year I had an early appointment ... I had to call Monique because she was late arriving. Iregret staying ... that was my clue to run.... because when she arrived she left the color in too long and then too much heat and my hair was missing volume, strands and length . She never took total ownership nor showed remorse until I sent a text. She then offered an olaplex treatment free of charge. I’m still waiting for my hair which was thick and down my back to grow back. According to Monique my hair had heat damage previously. If that’s so, why would she use bleach on my hair. I was a loyal customer but I would never go back. Be careful!

I am so thankful to have Monique as my beautician....she is amazing. Call her... book your appointment....

Even though I went there one time and is planning on going back my silk press which was done by Suzana looked AMAZING!! and I’m all natural by the way. Also, the other workers were very polite and courteous beautiful ladies I might add. But you won’t be disappointed they are GREAT !

I live far from this salon but it’s the only salon I’ve been going to for 8 years. I highly recommend. None of the stylist will let you leave until you’re satisfied with your hair.

After searching for a good, nearby salon, I decided on New Looks. I walked in, without an appointment, and was lucky enough to get Connie. She was a joy to have working on my hair. I could tell right away that she loved doing hair. She took her time and gave me the most awesome, purple mohawk, period! I loved it. The atmosphere is very family friendly and very clean and glamorous. Im glad I took a chance on New Looks Salon and most of all, I found a new beautician with Connie. She rocks!!!! I will definitely be recommending the Salon to others.

I was referred to Bianca from the beauty supply store on grand ave . I thought she did a great job at first with my crochet braids but after a little over a week it became very loose . I scheduled my apt yesterday for 430pm today . She was doing a weave when I came and I thought she was almost done but it took her over 2 hrs to finish . She had the chance to take me when the girl was sitting under the dryer but she decided to eat . After over 2 hrs of waiting when she finally took me and it took her less than 10 mins to redo the bottom of my braids . So the 2 hrs of my life that I wasted waiting I can’t take back. No respect or value for someone’s time. Not only that she didn’t do a good job because the other side of my braids are loose and one fell out . I will never ever go back !

Great service. Hair always looks great afterward. My only pet peeve is that they say they open at 9 so I got there at 9 so I could be the 1st. Its 9:30. Still not open.
