It was my first experience and visit yet it will not be my last. The owner Jahaira was so sweet and so cool and down to earth. Her staff were just as awesome as she was. My hair came out beautiful, and her prices were so reasonable. Looking forward to my next visit.

I wanted black color, and the owner suggested warm brown and it was perfect. I was encouraged to try the Botox conditioners and will do them in two weeks

I’ve been coming to Jahaira for 10 years now. She has done my hair for every big event i could think of and on a daily basis as well. Jahaira is professional, talented and all around has a great personality. Her shop is clean, no long waits & even plays Spanish music i can’t understand haha. I’ve gotten haircuts, highlights, weave, wash & blow, braids etc here. Jahaira truly cares about the health of her customers hair, she always has a great suggestion on style & ways to protect my hair. I have been coming to Jahaira for 8 years and I am all natural. This is the only shop I trust with my hair! Recently covid-19 has introduced a new way of life and this salon has taken all the proper precautions needed to ensure safety for their customers. Including temperature screenings, hand sanitizers stations, Barriers between work stations, constant disinfection after each customer and appointments scheduled to ensure 6 feet social distancing. This salon not only takes pride in taking care of your hair but also your over all well being. Jahaira shows everyone the same love and respect and treats you like family.

Recently moved to Baldwin from Brooklyn and I thought replacing my hair stylist was going to be the hardest thing ever but Jahaira & staff made the transition super easy. I was totally impressed with their customer service and level of expertise. The prices were also great! I have found my new stylist in my new town! These ladies are very professional with awesome personalities!

With covid happening I was very apprehensive about getting my hair done. But from the minute I came into the salon I was relived. You have to sanitize your feet before you walk any further. My hair came out like silk and she gave my ends the perfect cut.

Its my first time there. They follow all Covid safety guidelines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have curly 3C - 4A hair, and I am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair at the moment. They did a botox treatment on my hair that left it silking smooth. This treatment is great because I have the benefit of getting a shiny and smoother texture whether my hair is curled or blownout.

I love it! Yahaira she is a great stylist, she knows her job, super nice staff Sandra, Julissa , good team of work, very professional and know what they do always with a smile to their costumers. My hair took a shine and brightness after I am going to this salon.I would highly recommend it.

Excellent service been going for years and my hair is always healthy, they all so friendly always smiling, will recommend it everybody. The staff always is friendly, helpful, and professional. I have never received a bad haircut or color treatment. The one time I wasnt 100 percent satisfied. im not agree with miracle east because almost everyone has kids and sometimes we dont have baby sitter so we have to take them with us and what better find someone who take the time to entertain them one way or other.

Came to Jahaira salon because it’s local and the reviews looked good. Boy was i wrong the first time i came i got a blow out and cut which was only $60 not bad for pricing for natural hair and it looked really nice however it was Sandra doing my hair. The 2nd time which was the following week it was only Jahaira in the shop thought it was going to come out even better since she was the owner guess again. She rushed my hair barely wanted to help and was constantly on the phone. I could care less but if the end result takes a hit maybe it would be best to focus on 1 thing at a time. Who wants to pay for botched job. I tried to ask her why the ends weren’t as straight which she responded i needed to come back more often for straighter ends. Seems like i shouldn’t since the week before it looked way better. Confused and upset as to why the end result wasn’t the best, seeing as though she’s the owner and should want customer loyalty she didn’t even care to run the flat iron over it again my advice avoid if you can.

I walked in with course hair in desperate need of a relaxer and when I walked out I looked and felt incredible. Jahaira is warm, inviting and in my opinion is the hair whisperer. Ill definitely be back.

I have been with Jahaira for many years. She’s very professional and does your hair exactly as you like. She also uses products to make your hair healthy and lustrous upon request.

I went there 2 weeks ago to have a blow out, it was my first time there and my hair did come out nice but the stylist Carmen burnt my head bad, I yelled and nearly jumped out of the seat. She did apologize and took $5 off the price without me asking which I appreciated but here’s the worst part...I asked if she was the owner and she said no, she said the owner was in the DR taking care of her father who was ill. She started talking to me about how she did someones hair on the side at their home and how nice it came out. Then she started talking in whispers, about charging me less than the salon to do my hair. I changed the subject because it made me uncomfortable. When she was done with my hair she gave me a small paper that I threw in my purse and didnt look at until I got home. She had spoken to me about a conditioner and i thought she had written it down for me but it was her name and phone number. I couldn’t believe it. It’s a sad day when an employee takes advantage of her boss being away for a family illness to steal clients... I will never go there again.

I came in with my hair washed, deep conditioned and detangled and they not only charged me full price they didn’t let me know it was extra to use my card. I do my hair myself because I care about how it’s taken care of and honestly this was terrible service.

Jahaira has been doing my hair since i was 12 years old i am 22 now ! She is a amazing hair stylist and person she is very good at what she does and is very honest with you 100 % of the time she will always give you recommendations and be honest with what she thinks is best for you. Her staff is also very nice , helpful and very accommodating there goal is to satisfy all customers and make you feel beautiful, all at a GREAT price. Even on her busiest of days you will always be greeted and taken care of. I always recommend stopping by her salon to everyone i know for all of your hair care services everything from color, cuts, event & wedding up dos , and blow outs she even does eyebrow waxing. I shower the owner a hair style I wanted it was a updo but and she did the complete opposite, once I told her I didn’t like it when she was done she asks she was tired and didn’t feel good and wanted to go home. I still payed the full amount and left! I will never go here again! Also there are about 3 kids of the owners running all through the salon making noise! & she plays kid shows on the tv very loud to accommodate her kids and not the customers whose wares are bleeding.. I came to get my hair done not a day care lady

This a Dominican Salon but very good hair dresser that help you take care of your hair. Its not just about another client or the money to them its about the quality of service they deliver.

One of her employees gave me a very good color, but Mrs. Yajaira combed my hair, apparently they were doing my hair well, but when I went out to the street ten minutes later it looked like a hen kills with brooms, in addition to the fact that she and another employee named María live criticizing the other young women who work there.Which seemed very unethical to me and not at all professional.

The second owner is not proffesional, she damaged my hair completely with bleach, above all, she is very rude, she does not treat you with respect, if not bad enough, she tells you that you are bothered when you have a question, it makes you feel very bad it was the worst experience of my life the only thing I achieve is to damage my hair I regret a lot to see spent my money go anywhere else but here. The hair is so damaged that it only knots, I paid for a botox that is useless.
