If you’re getting a manicure you should see Kenny, he has an artistic eye for acrylic nails. Pedicures are great and done by the rest of the staff members, regular pedicure is $30, the staff aren’t the friendliest otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

I liked my nails , but when I stepped outside into better lighting, I seen that the guy who did my nails missed a lot of spots. There’s no way you should be able to see through black nails…They also tried to charge my sister 10 dollars to take off only 3 nails.

This was my 2nd time going & I am no disappointed! The nail tech I got was really nice & did exactly what I asked for! He was detailed & wasn’t rushing himself. Kev #2 is the guy to ask for!

Nice and clean, decent pricing. Only down side for me was the friendliness of the staff; it was my first time and we werent greeted nor were we told nicely the check in process, instead the woman just pointed at a tablet. Not enough to deter me from going back, but would have made the visit more pleasant to welcomed.

I was a walk-in and I was taken back in a timely manner. I was assigned to Rose today. She is so sweet and did a great job. She pays attention to detail, gives a great massage, and friendly conversation. Thank you Rose for everything!

This score is derived from the professionalism and lack thereof from the manager of this salon and the nail technicians. The nail technician that performed my pedicure was very nice and informative. The manager, however, was an unprofessional, unhelpful POS. My chair was not operating correctly, so I asked for help. When the nail technician could not figure out the problem, she asked the manager as he was walking by. He threw up one hand and continued to walk in the opposite direction. When he passed by again he never stopped to offer any assistance or solutions. I felt as if my satisfaction was neither a concern or priority. He would definitely benefit from some education in good customer service skills and conflict resolution. If the nail technician was not as pleasant, I would have taken my money and spent it elsewhere.

I have always had a great experience at this nail salon it is upscale and the employees are all kind and do great work...however MIA is the best :) Ive had pedicures and theyre amazing its not a hefty priced pedicure for little reward you get a TON of features in what you pay. I got the lemon one and I got massage chair pedicure **they use disposable liners for sanitary pedicures for each person** pedicure a hot stone massage on feet hot towel wrap over a skin treatment on legs callous removal and much more I cant remember all because I was so relaxed I was there around an hour not a quick waste your money pedicure at all. My nails...i get acrylic with gel color are ALWAYS fantastic I have to go longer than 2 weeks because of my comfort of spending but my nails can last a month with no issues color stays awesome until its taken off. So many color choices including glitter, magnet, chrome, matte, etc. Ive never been more pleased with a salon. My 10 year old and friends have been taken hwre by me before as well and thwyre treated well and no different than adult clients salon isnt annoyed by children clients. They have kiddo pedicure spas too for special treatments for kids...wuth adult chair on either side so mommy or aunt or whomever can sit right next to kid chair customer. You will NOT regret your visit...i promise

This is not a good report, I had been coming here you awhile. I had my nails done Saturday, 2 days ago. I mentioned to the man that did my nails for me that they were too long and I wasn’t happy about red nail color that the lady chose for me. He said come back and I will cut down for you and re-polish. So I go back Monday, the rind stones he put on there fell off. The owner Kevin tell the girl to charge $20. For cut down and re-polish and if I wanted them to reshaped, I needed to pay for a fill.... wow!!!! Needless to say I will not be going back! Picture #1 was what I asked for and left with pics 2,3,4, very disappointed !!!!

It was okay. My nail tech was decent but I paid for the most expensive pedicure that was supposed to come with a massage and hot stones. I got neither. When I asked about it she just acted like she didn’t understand. Plus she couldn’t find the color I picked, basic red glitter - and ended up with like a burnt orange glitter. Which is okay for now since it’s on my toes and it’s fall but for what I paid, I wished I would’ve gotten an actual full service, “royal pedicure.” I did enjoy sitting out back in the make shift tent, it was much quieter than inside.

Horrible place, in a hurry the whole time your there. Nail polish chipped in 1 day. Never going back

I came into the stockdale location thinking it would be the similar to the other locations but it wasnt I was sat down and was asked to choice my color and when I came back, my seat was given to another customer, and what made me upset was that I was already waiting 10minutes and that other person was placed in front of me and they skipped. My aunt also came here to get herself a mani and pedi and the tech kept telling her that the color she wanted was only available in gel and wouldnt give her another option. At the end I got out of my seat and decided not to do my nails in this location and my aunt only got her pedi. I think I they need to better their customer service here at stockdale but I will probably not come back.

Best Pedicure EVER! I get the upgraded package with grapefruit and Aloe.. Its amazing. Worth every bit of $65!Make sure you ask for HUI he is the best in the salon. I was there for the first time about 5-6 weeks ago. A good friend flew in from Chicago to visit and we decided to get pedicures. It’s so lovely inside and both of our technicians (mine was Sarah) were so friendly and did great jobs. We both LOVED our pedicures. I still don’t have a single chip on mine and am heading there in a few minutes for a new color. I highly recommend this place. :)

Got a really nice pedicure by Van. I came in with a broken toe nail from having been stepped on by my kid and walked out looking like it never happened. They take their time making sure you are completely taken care of and walk out happy.

Was visiting my daughter over Thanksgiving week. Took my daughter and granddaughter to have a manicure and pedicure . Eight hours after all was done, my feet got cold, well anyway the polish smudged one and my daughter. Next day my daughters manicure, two fingers well polish gone. Didnt think I need a receipt well needless to say I needed it the next day to get touch ups. Was very disappointed .

Ive been coming here for years!! Best nail salon in Bakersfield. Mia is very sweet, easy to reach and schedule with and knows her customers and their unique styles. Kevin runs a tight ship with customer satisfaction as a high priority. He recognizes happy customers = lucrative business. Cant go wrong going to this salon.

Ive been here twice - the first time the second week after they opened and the second time a couple weeks ago. My first experience here was great! The staff was super friendly and talkative, they offered water and were helpful in choosing colors.My second time here was a different experience. I came in with a friend and her massage chair wasnt working and while the staff I had was gentle and friendly, the one who helped her was focused on getting through the job as quick as possible. Here its an extra $5 for French tips - if this is what you want Id say try a different salon. Mine turned out OK. At my normal salon theyre perfect and only an extra $2.Note - there is a small discount if you pay with cash.

Loved it a lot. I hadnt had a pedicure in years and after trying this place, my feet were well handled. A little pricey but the polish lasts a long time if maintained well. Will go back soon.

This nail salon is by far the best I have ever been to. You are seated right away and their technique and products are very professional. Overall would recommend. Also there is no harsh smell of nail polish.

I went last weekend and thought it was a great place to go to. I usually have a salon i loyaly go to but decided to try this place out. I waited for 20 mins and when it was time to get my nails done the old man confused the colors i wanted on my nails. I got acrylic nails and let me tell you, the shape of my nails are bad! I had to tell him 5 times to fix the shape, there were two crooked nails he didn’t glue on right! He cut my skin, not my cuticle, but my skin and i pulled back my hand and he said sorry. I already knew right then and there not to ever go back. I did not get the color i wanted at all!! I barley left a 3$ tip because he did horrible. I don’t recommend this place at all. Save your money.

The salon itself was very nice and beautiful inside. One of the men was pretty rude to potential customers as they walked in the door. And the woman who did my nails did not know how to do any designs and you could tell she was just winging it on my nails. She kept telling me to just wait when I asked her several times if they had a book of designs that I could choose from. Im not a picky person, but I was not pleased with my nails or the service and will most likely not return.

Kenny and Jason both do beautiful nails. Kenny has a GREAT personality. The whole staff is so nice and the salon is so clean and organized. Wish I could do 10 stars!

Went to the new location on Brimhall and Allen and the atmosphere was really nice and clean. Very impressed with owner, Kevin. He did my nails and he was recommended to me. I spoke to him on the phone when scheduling my appt and he did everything to make sure he was able to see me. That’s great customer service! Very happy with my nails and definitely going back!

I gave it a 1 star only because the chairs are really nice. Spent $100 on pedicure and gel manicure. This was Wednesday, but Friday my gel nails were chipping. My toes look good, but for a $55 pedicure it was not worth it. Felt like the lady didn’t really take the time to do a good job. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Love my technician but noticed today, the two lady techs next to me talked to each other in Vietnamese, for 15 min. Completely ignoring their clients. After a few min of silence, they started having a conversation with each other again. I never saw them talk to their clients once.Surely theyve been trained to use small talk.

I would like to say it was great, as the salon is beautiful and modern. However, Im pretty frustrated with my experience. I was seated right away in a chair, but waited about 5 minutes for someone to put water into the pedicure basin and then another 25 minutes before I just walked out and left. No one acknowledged me while I was waiting, so I had no idea what was going on.

Spend over $$120 on my feet and nails had a very bad experience, they didn’t even care to understand what I wanted... my feet and nail look horrible. Did even get treated with respect rush me through the whole things I won’t not go back there again!!! Bad customer services and very unprofessional!!! Spend your money and time wisely don’t go here!!

I have tried this place 3 Times because the location is very convenient hut 3 strikes and you’re out. Expensive always at least $100 for nails and toes, I always get someone who is very rough I leave with multiple cuts and scratches on my hands and feet, my nails are not even.. Have yet to be happy with their service.

I have gone here many times before with no problem. However, this time, the nail tech did too much digging and now my foot is infected. I had to go to urgent care for antibiotics today. My foot hurts so bad and my toe is oozing out.

Wish i could post a pic but when i got acrylic white tips the lady was in such a rush she didnt even take all the nail polish off or even the nails out she just filed. Ive been to a few nails spas and do my own nails but i have never had someone who didnt take the time to check the length of each nail to make sure they were atleat l close. Will not be back would give it a one but the lady who gave me a pedicure was great and took the time my toes are perfect not so much my hands.

Been going there for a while and left pleased with my nails until today. Would always pay $28 for a full set but when I went in today he tried charging me $40 for the exact same set. He tried telling me that was the price so I asked him to show me where it said that,so he showed me the menu where it said $28 for a full set $40 for the rockstar set. Would have gladly paid the $40 for Rockstar set but I didnt ask for that so why are you trying to charge me for something that I did not get!? He insisted on charging me for something that I didnt receive so even after all the excuses/lies he came up with, he had no valid reason for trying to overcharge me. Needless to say I wont be going back.

Absolutely terrible! Dug so hard into my nail bed I bled. They dont know how to properly trim nails, I told them to make them look natural and they look like triangles. I shouldnt have even paid for my services!

There wasnt a lot of effort on the callous removal, and my fingernail polish chipped within a few hours. I think I will stick to my usual salon where there is more attention to detail and better quality.

Ive gotten my nails done here and I really liked the finished product. However, my second time in, it seemed they didnt care to greet me especially when Ive seen 3 of them look directly at me. I dont expect anything more than just saying, hi, well be right with you. I am now in another nail shop, waiting, but at least knowing they care about everyone walking in.

My best friend referred me to the salon 10 months ago and for the first time I went in as a walkin 10 days ago. I was satisfied with my experience until 3 days later the gel chipped off of my thumb nail. On the 5th day I was finally able to go back in and by then the entire gel had peeled off of my thumb, and was peeling off of the acrylic on my other thumb and middle finger. When I arrived the nail technician that had done them recognized me and offered to fix them but I requested that someone else please do them. They were quite busy but they were able to set me up with a technician that Mia approved of. I was a little surprised that they did not start the process from the beginning and treat it as a routine fill but I trusted their decision making considering Mia was sitting right there. At the end of my visit I out that the technician doing my nails does not usually do fills or work on nails. 4 days later half of the acrylic has broken off of my thumb nail. 1. I work in a restaurant so I was very happy that it broke off at home and not while I was working. 2. Sad I wont be coming back because I followed them from the old location. I am only giving them 2 stars because every other time I have gone Kevin or V has done an amazing job.

The staff was very friendly but I do not think I got the service that I paid for. I got the basic pedicure witch should have only been $25 and for the gel it was an extra $10. He charged me 45$ because he said I had him put striped on one toe but they were uneven and not even worth it. But he didn’t even tell me prior to getting it. And I got a fullSet. All together me and my mother in law spent $180 on two pedicures and two full sets. It was so over priced. And We tipped $10 per person that did our nails so all in all we spent $220.

They charge you to cut your nails! Ive had one man charge for tips he didnt put on, then lied about it. They are much more expensive than any other nail salon Ive been to and Ive been getting my nails done since 1981!

Had the powder nails put on, they were fine but lasted less than 10 days.Had an expensive pedicure that was suppose to have had a 30 minute foot , the guy never massaged my feetjust my legsWhen I questioned he acted like he couldn’t understand meHe rubbed the skin off a spot near my ankleI was so glad to get of thereVery expensive lesson

Went last week to get a pedicure and full set for my graduation. The inside is very nice and so is the staff but as they had me sit on one of the spa chair to get my pedi they took about 20-30 to get the tub filled up and had to wait another 15 min for them to start on my pedi. Then they forgot to start on my full set when I clearly told the person in front and wrote in their book what I was there for. Luckily one of nail techs stayed so they can do my nails but it was rushed and not the best job especially for how much I paid for everything. I checked in before 6pm and left almost at 9pm. Most likely I wont be going there again.

Came here for a gel polish and its lasted longer than any other gel polish Ive ever had. I had to finally get rid of it because my nails were growing so long but was so bummed because I didnt have one chip! JENNY was wonderful and thorough.

I made an appointment and waited up to 2 and half hours just to get my acrylics off which shouldn’t take long. While other people who were walk ins were let in before I was. The lady left my nails poorly done afterwards aswell but I still paid full price. Please don’t overbook and treat you’re clients with little to no consideration.

Thought I would try this place as the place that I normally go to was closed..I went in and they said it was a 25 minute wait. I signed my name in and waited and waited and waitied. After about 45 minutes the called in a family about 4 ppl to have seats and I said excuse me I have been sitting here and he said very rude, they had an appt..anyways I waited another 20 minutes and finally sat me and my daughter down...they were doing mine first which he did horrible did not know how to do pedicires one bit..my 9 year old daughter does them better..I was almost done when they finally started to do my daughters we both had regular pedicures with regular polish and it came outt to $57 oh not to mention my daughter was done same time I was...so because I was so unhappy, I left only a $3 tip and I can hear them talking back and forth so I know they were talking about the low tip!!!! I will never go back again!!!! Dont let the nice furniture and lights fool you!!!went in a 1 pm came out at 3:30 pm.. had a party to go to at 5 pm..no small talk nothing at all just spoke amongst themselves!!!I If I could give 0 I would!!

Worst experience ever I entered in this salon and was just stared at I stood at the front desk waiting to speak to someone about getting my nails done and no one ever approached me very rude and unprofessional.

I always get my nails done there but today the lady was in a rush and did my nails ugly.Im usually always satisfied with there work but not today. The lady was so in a hurry made me mad because she should atleast asked me if I liked it and I didn’t. I understand it was almost 7 but if your not going to do a good job than don’t do it at all

Sister went in with a friend to get a regular mani pedi, which is listed at $30 so I gave her $60 for the two. They asked so many questions to them that they didn’t understand what they were being told, and they ended up doing more work which made me shell out $120 for the two, double what I had originally planned. Not very happy with this place.My sister also had one nail broken and wanted to do one acrylic nail and the rest regular, but, in her own words, “I told them that, but before I knew it, the guy had already started cutting my nails”

I usually have a great experience here, but yesterday I was not happy. I went for a mani pedi and the people performing it kept talking to each other and not paying attention to what they were doing. The guy giving me a pedicure cut my heel and didnt even notice because he was looking away. The girl doing my manicure cut my finger and messed up on my gel nails. They were still sticky when she was done and I told her they were. She had to redo the top coat a couple of times. I love the people who have worked there for a while, but the new people I have not had a good experience with. Ive been going here for a while and even waited to get my nails here when I came back to town. I wont be going back.

Nice place but customer service is terrible. What should really only take an hour could take up to 2 hours and that doesnt include your wait time. Forget about booking an appointment because you will just have to wait for the next available person anyway even when youre told youre next, theyll just go to someone else and keep you waiting. Booked an appointment 2 hours prior to arriving only to show up, check in, and no one is able to help me and I have to wait....needless to say I will not return nor would I reccomend this place, customer service is everything and there isnt any here.

I am satisfied with the girls. Although there’s a lot of people, I only waited for about 5 minutes or less. The girl who did my pedi is very polite and did a good job on my toes. The girl who did my mani is good as well but when I kinda relaxed and closed my eyes, instead of french tip as I told them, she used the same color as my toes😩. I ddn’t say anything coz it’s too late and she did a good job. I like the massage chair too. I was out of there after 70 minutes. That’s impressive!

Today they seemed rushed and short staffed. One of my toe nails was cut too short and my toe has been in pain since, another has dried blood on it. I had the Royal pedicure, it is what I usually get.

Went for a pedi , the lady only put one coat of polish and did not cover the intire nail on almost every toe. Could not recomend this place..
