I can not say enough great things about Dr. Shamul! The procedures were never rushed, and I could tell that he truly cares about his patients! Getting a root canal is never pleasant but Dr. Shamul and his assistants made the experience as pleasant as possible and made sure I was kept comfortable the entire time. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and caring as well. If you need to get the work done, this is the place to go!

This office is GreatDr. Shamul has done root canals for me, my wife and other family members , he is fantastic, very thorough. He doesnt rush the process so it can take a few appointment to finish the job. The women at the front desk are incredibly accommodating. Anyone complaining about the bill needs to understand that there are so many different insurance policies that cover different percentages of care, they cant possibly know every plan benefit without submitting it for prior approval. Before work was started recently I reviewed my dental policy to see what was covered. It is important that you have the right endodontist performing the root canal so that you can save the tooth.This is only place to go for a root canal.

Dr. Shamul is an excellent endodontist. He treats his patients with care & kindness & explains all procedures thoroughly. His staff & assistants are wonderful. He uses the most advanced technology & imaging equipment. I highly recommend Dr. Shamul.

I was referred to Dr. Shamuls office for a root canal procedure by my primary dentist. Dr. Yilan was the Endodontist that I saw in November of 2017. It took 2 separate visits but all went well & I was pleased with the services. I was told my insurance would cover most and I needed to pay $122.50, which I did upon leaving that day. I was told there s/b no additional bills but if so it w/b for a very small amount- or I may even receice a small refund, depending on final payments from my insurance company. LIARS! To my surprise, I was slapped with an additional $238.50 bill!! I called to see what could be done and on another day went to the office but nothing was done. Shouldnt the dental office know a rough estimate of what the insurance will cover- and what the patient is responsible for? Just a warning from my experience...be prepared to pay more than expected. Shame on them for sending out a 2nd bill that was almost twice the amount of the 1st bill. I am NOT happy.
