I work at the bayview rest home and assistant living facility its a great place to work I am a housekeeper there I love it the staff and residents love to joke around and have fun I am blessed with my new friends

I often come to this home to do music therapy with the residents. The atmosphere is full of energy and the residents are always happy to sing and dance to the music. The home is filled with all different age groups and the residents are some of the sweetest most caring individuals Ive ever met. They always express their gratitude for the activities and the staff actively joins in the groups as well. It truly feels like a family here. One of the cleanest/well managed homes Ive ever worked/volunteered in.

My family was told that our father (age 66) needed a level of care that we could not provide. After searching through available options, we came across Bayview. We met with Kristina Scaglione, head administrator and social worker. She confirmed that this was the best option for us. Most assisted living/nursing home facilities have an older population and weren’t the right fit for many reasons. Bayview is not only affordable, but I like that it’s a smaller facility. I truly felt the one on one connection between the staff and residents. Kristina’s professionalism and compassion put us at ease and the staff was just as helpful.It’s been a few weeks and my father is settling in nicely. He loves the convenient location (heart of Babylon Village) and ability to come and go as he pleases. The layout is reminiscent of a college dorm...shared rooms, common area and cafeteria. It’s very clean and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. A friendly, helpful hand is always available and I’m so thankful for Kristina’s help with the entire process. My family and I are at ease knowing that my Dad is in caring hands.

Yesterday my daughter became a resident of Bayview Adult home. Today after living at Bayview foronly several days she called home, surprised but quite happy she said that not only was the food tastyand good the waitress service was outstanding. She is so excited after seeing all the activities thatare available for her to participate in. Thank goodness my daughter has numerous services availablefor her such as assistance with grooming bathing, as well as plenty of staff for her to chat with.Hope that Bayview has a bed available for this Senior when I need an affordable place to live, therebyhaving my needs met for a reasonable cost.

Recently had the pleasure of taking a tour here myself for my father. Spent the afternoon there in their day program with him and he loved it. Currently on a waiting list for him to move in. They work with families on limited incomes. Place is clean and pretty.

I find the facility to not only be clean, inviting and offering of many amenities that are not offered at many other facilities that I have known and been present at for various reasons. They have a professional chef that oversees the kitchen and menu- providing according to DOH regulations, balanced and nutritional meals. This facility also offers med tech, house keeping and PCA services for those with needs. Recreational activities are offered to all daily, including music, sports to individual capabilities, art and pet therapy.

Has a strong fecal smell. reidence are found wondering the streets at all hours. access to building poorly maintained during the winter. staff and residence appear unhappy overall. would not recommend for even a stray animal

Bayview is a great place its very clean and the staff are the sweetest people i know . There very organized and on top of everything. They keep the residents busy with alot of actitives . If you have a loved one that you may not be able to care for bayview is the perfect home.
