This place is absolutely magical ! It was my first time in the four corners area and it mad it so special. There is a vibe , you have space . The place is well maintained. The accommodations and staff are the best . Everyone is so nice and welcoming . The beauty can only be fathomed when your here . 100% a top spot to vacation . It makes the area so much more fun and ultimately was the attraction that has brought me to the conclusion to move down here

Ive been to many festivals but I really like this venue a bunch! If you are missing water at your festivals this one has a river, 3 free water slides, 2 ponds with free paddleboards. Super chill vibe and great place to connect with nature. Be sure to check out the grandmother cottonwood tree!

I finally got to visit Tico Time and I love it! It’s a playground! A fun water slide that lofts you through the air into the water, a slip n slide down into water, large stage, volleyball, a separate venue where there was Karaoke, yummy food trucks, a beach island and beaches around swimming area, tubing trip, a cool zip line and a bungee jump swing thing! There maybe more but I was only there a day. Everybody from staff to campers were happy and having fun!

Prices are a little hight. But good venue for events... Not much for catered food,. Could be better. Nice party place on the river...

We had a blast and saw a great concert. Our family visit was summer 2021. We wished there would be a pool and a bigger shower house, but cannot complain, those are just suggestions.

Tico Time RV ResortAztec, New MexicoPros: Spacious gravel sites with full hookups. Lots of activities for families. Zip lining, floating the river, water slides, etc. The activities do cost extra unless they are having a special or you stay a week.Cons: This resort allows campers to shoot off fireworks IN THE CAMPGROUND at their site!How does this even begin to make good common sense? Upon arrival, we asked about rules. We were given 2...dogs must be on a leash and no glass. Neither were enforced or followed the week that we were there.The grounds and dog park need major attention as does the laundry and restrooms.Trash receptacles were overflowing and not being emptied into the dumpsters.We will not return to this resort which is disheartening because it has huge potential to be a very nice place.

Great place. Lots to do there. They have a water slide ,an inner tube slide. you can use their Inflatable kayaks and SUPS For no charge. There is also zip lining but that costs a little extra. Just some slight manicuring of the place and garbage pick up and it would be excellent.Would go again.

Great size RV spots. Lots of fun activities included with camp fee. We spent most of our time at the upper pond on the paddle boards. Overall a great stay.

This place is sweet. Lots of fun things to do. Disc golf course has been on upgraded and looking great.

This is a great place to visit especially with kids. There’s a lot of activities and the music is great.

I think that you could have some kind of concession for the people that are there for the day. You could also have a little more shade. Offer umbrellas for the tables that are in the out in the open spaces. We had a great time and really enjoyed the music. Would be great of you offered a special on weekends with live music.

What Fun!!! This is the most non-restrictive, fun-loving RV park we have ever enjoyed. Water toys galore, GREAT music, septic at every RV site, clean restrooms, nothing but good clean fun. Stop there and enjoy!

It was expensive to get into and not very cool. They put up a new bridge since last year and their prices reflect it and the zipline towerwhich I think costs more than the regular cover charge.Across the bridge is two ponds that are so sandy and muddy that theyre really quite hard to get into but they were surprisingly crowded with paddle boards.I cant think of anything remarkable, they have a pavilion of sorts but didnt see anything online about party rentals. Its expensive and the stuff isnt that cool, irrigation fed attractions. Youre almost better off finding a pull off on ruins road and tubing down the river.

Had a great weekend camping here for rockfest. We showed up late Friday night after a huge rainstorm and had no idea where to set up. The staff pointed us in the right direction and even helped get all our stuff to the camping area across the river. Thank you Lucas! Camping area in the forest was nice. Not many have camped there yet it seems. Two porta potties in the camping area. They may need more for bigger crowds. We enjoyed live music all day saturday and sunday. The stage and sound system are top of the line. This place will def be attractive to some bigger names. I definitely suggest visiting this place as soon as possible. Especially if live music is your passion. Food trucks were open late for the festival which was great. All the staff were super nice. I cant wait to return!

Spent a weekend here, Friday to Monday.Employees are all helpful and polite. Has a great two hour float trip down the river. 11 year old son loved the zip line experience. Water slides were fun. Ponds all have tons of rafts, kayaks and paddle boards to use.RV sites on the north side are very large and level with gravel. No issues with utility hookups.Had entertainment every night we were there including live bands on Saturday and Sunday. Amazing sound system on the stage.This would be a five star review but they have to do something about the bathroom situation. This is a newer facility so hopefully they have it in the works. Two single stall bathrooms in middle of park and porta-potties everywhere. I never did see a shower house (possible that there is one shower in the laundry but could never get In there because of long lines). A faculty like this needs a dedicated bath and shower house for RV customers. Despite full RV connections RVers like the option of using a regular toilet and shower.Some of the porta-potties were full the day we arrived and the chemical toliet smell would blow through the campground at times. As in poop above the top line of the water and chemical solution. If you are going to rely on porta-potties you need to make sure they are being serviced regularly, which never happened on our visit. It would also help if they regularly emptied the garbage cans in the common area such as the beach.

Having a great time but are spot for our camper should have been facing East so that a we could look at the hills while setting out side our door and the after noon shade would be by our door. Thank you

Please be considerate of the people who live out here by your resort.We can not sleep at night and we can hear the whole venue the whole time. It is unfortunate that we have to hear this a night every weekend

Fantastic! I am here now and we booked for 12 nights and it’s been the best RV park park we have ever stayed at. The list is long … tons for the kids to do, fast fast WiFi, on river, super friendly, live music, water slides, paddle boards, zip lines, river rafting, close to Farmington and Durango, don’t nickel and dime you, fire pits … I can go on and on. The people who built and run this place do it right. Chill, awesome atmosphere on top of it all. Thank you. Could spend the whole season here … told my wife it’s going to be a real let down when we get to the next RV park … back to reality!

The best time on the river, slides, zip line, swimming, live bands, djs and beach volleyball. The fire works for the 4th were incredible.

I think this resort is up and coming. We visited early in the season and enjoyed ourselves. For the review however, I need to focus on what is now vs what will be. Staff are very friendly and responsive. The camp sites are a good size. The dog parks are indeed HUGE! Our puppies enjoyed them a bunch. Bathrooms are clean, we didnt find the showers. The beach at the river was easily accessible and we enjoyed the concert. The zip line and water activities were not yet available but the grandkids were excited to see the towers. There is a lot of work going in and I will be curious to see where they will be in 2 years. For a weekend jaunt, I think its a great spot for a getaway. Bring your own shade :)

Ashlee Garcia runs the whole place - she is absolutely incredible and reminds me of old school hosts who really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. She was extremely busy and stayed positive and professional and helpful. I have stayed here several times now, and I have been staying at RV parks for many years throughout the US. Everything was clean and well thought out, the river is beautiful, dog park for big and small, most of the rv spots are very nice and youre not so close to be by anyones sewer hose, fire pits, nice hot shower, electric, water everything working good, they bring your propane to you- just call and its cheaper than anywhere else, laundry is pretty good, one of the dryers takes a little bit lol, what else can I say? Excellent Resort, felt private and nobody was on top of us, everyone very relaxed- no issues- just happy. Owners have good people there, Ashlee should be running whatever she wants- I hate everyone and shes top notch all around took care of everything and everyone right away - I had a great experience each time that I have stayed with them. They do have winter spots and long term spots too. If you call- go ahead and leave a message because Ashlee will call you back pretty much right away every time if nobody is in the office if its off hours. And if youre on the road and you go online and there is a spot available you can just go there and pay online and have a good nights rest. No worries at all. I havent been to any of the concerts but its a huge area by the river and they put in a beautiful bridge and a huge stage with lighting- I hate crowds but its really nice by the river and plenty of room to relax father away from the stage so probably will go! Also zipline and they have two lake areas with paddle boards, big slides, there is actually a nice sandy beach there, very clean - no glass, trampoline, volley ball, disc golf- actually a really nice course for that, bbq grills under a huge canopy- swings, volley ball, horse shoes, I dont even remember all they had there, tire swing lol Everyone having fun and very respectful crowds. I thought I would hear the highway and maybe it would be noisy at night but man it does get so quiet at night even with people there, everyone really obeys the late night and curfew and just sits by the fire, the ducks and geese all hang out, lots of turkeys, - really nice. Lots of really neat hikes in the area too and very close to Durango and anywhere in the four corners really.

This is the coolest place☺️We had our Easter Service there this morning. It was so beautiful being right on the Animas River. Then all the fun attractions of Zip Lines, cabled Bunjee, A Swing, Wall Climbing, Paddle Boards. It is a really fun and beautiful place. Go there... Have Fun... You wont be disappointed😊

Theres no lights anywhere, especially the parking lot, real creepy. And the volunteer security guards can be especially creepy.

It was an awesome experience from playing in the water to a Rockwall two romantic evenings walking by the river we love the experience and we definitely will come back and bring our friends this place was huge

Costa Rica Island setting with ziplines, vendors, performers, flowing river, paddleboards, and bon-fires, you name it. Also plenty of parking for class of vehicle. Take the time and stop you will be truly surprised at the level this guy brought to the table in the middle of nowhere!! Good job Bro.

I agree with Toni Hill, its sad when you come home at 4:00 am with music still loud. No respect for us who live here. I use to have a back yard but now its a bunch of drunks yelling all the time. The lights have also ruined the night sky.

We had an absolute blast at Tico Time. The adults in our group had just as much fun as the teenagers. The property is gorgeous and there are beautiful spots to sit and relax right on the river. The water slide left us laughing harder than we have in years. The sandy beach pond with paddle boards was a nice place to cool off and we had fun using the paddle boards. We also enjoyed the guided paddle board tripdown the river. It was relaxing and the scenery was breath taking! The pavilion area is going to be awesome once it’s finished. Our dogs loved the huge dog park as well. We’ll definitely be going back once it’s complete!

Tico Time RV Park is a great place to take your kids and grandkids.

We stayed at Ticco Time River Resort RV Park for five days in August. It was really a relaxing and peacefulPark. The staff and owner were very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. Lots of things for kids to do and they are still working on it everyday. The Animas River runs behind the park and there are chairs provided so you can enjoy the running river. They even have fireworks on Saturday night!

Just a great place to swim have fun with family and friends

It looks like this place is in the early stages of development. It’s reasonably priced and there are lots of fun things for the kids to do but the resort was lacking in infrastructure.Cons:- No showering facilities. There is one shower but it’s for the tent campers only.- It’s close to Highway 550 so that can be noisy- No shade. From the pictures it looked like there were plenty of trees but the RV sites did not have any shade and it got pretty hot during the day.- Lots of ants. At our side the ground was covered in ant hills and ants.- Fire rings are an additional $15 chargePros:- The bathroom facilities were very nice although there are only 2 for the whole RV resort.- The 2 lakes were nice and perfect for paddle boarding which were provided at no extra cost.- The water slide is a lot of fun- Enjoyed being so close to the Animas River and being able to get in it.- Although we didn’t do it this time, the float trips are very reasonable and looks like fun.I’m interested to see what the place looks like in a year or two. They are working on a zip line and showers do look like they are in the plans.

I loved this place. It is family friendly and so worth going and staying at. It is a true family getaway. It is clean and has many options for you to do while there. You would be missing out if you havent been here yet because its a place that brings familys together. Its a place to let lose and know that its okay to have fun and sit back and relax. They are very accommodating and cant wait to see all they other ideas they will come up with in the future.

Plan B quickly turned into plan A for Awesome! We were headed somewhere else for the day and decided to give Tico Time River Resort a shot after finding out plan A was at social distancing capacity.The staff were friendly and helpful from the first phone call to check in and check out. Everyone from teen to adult had a great time, the only thing we would have changed was getting there earlier in the day to enjoy the resort longer. Thank you to Ashley and the crew!

Enjoyed the experience. Liked the water events. Dog park was great. Hook ups were good. Staff very nice. Will be glad when zip line is going. Family friendly.

A good well run campground

I spent the weekend there with my Sweet Lady and my daughter, and I was completely blown away with the entire resort!The staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful.It was such a cool place, and the fact that they are still adding to the fun activities and continuing to update the grounds just has me exited to see their vision for the resort when everything is completed! We already had more than enough to do and they arent even done yet!

10 out of 10, will definitely visit again. We had so much fun playing beach volleyball, paddle boarding, and all of the many other activities they have. Its like a beach getaway without having to travel to the beach! They have a rock climbing wall, a zipline, a water slide for tubes, and a bungee jump. Youll definitely never be bored here. Theyre also super dog friendly and have a huge, fenced in dog park.

So much to do here. Fun times!

An absolute BLAST! We had an incredible time and everyone in our group (ranging from age 2-40) enjoyed all that the resort had to offer! The owner was very personable and Ashley was an incredible help when I called like 5 times with questions. The experience was above and beyond our expectations and we cant wait to go back!

This is going to be a fantastic place to get away without having to travel a great distance. Large camping spots with full hook ups. They have put in a lot of nice amenities already and many more to come. Looking forward to going back.

The Zip line was a blast! Sadly we went later in the year and the weather wasn’t in our favor but we and the employees made the best of it. Very friendly and well taken care of. Would go back.

Best firework show in NM! This Resort spares nothing when it comes to 4th of July. Would definitely recommend this resort. The host was very friendly and helpful! No resort like this here in NM. Totally worth visiting.

Lots to do! Kids loved the pond and paddle boards. We floated the river and ate lunch in the shade. They are expanding daily.

Great place! Kids never complained of being bored. Nice camping spots. Cant wait until their new trees grow for shade. Picnic tables and shade over them will be awesome.

Highly recommended for family entertainment and activities!!!! Water slide, paddleboarding, swimming ponds, hiking trails, river tubing, horse shoes, live fire bender show, volleyball, pavillion with big grill rotisserie, fireworks every Saturday night, zip lining, frisbee golf, and dog park! The staff are amazing! Camp sites for campers (big sites) and tent sites are awesome! You wont regret doing this with your family. Thank you Tico Time!

Amazing new resort went for the zip line for my bday and the tarzan swing is amazing. Cant wait to see what they add to the place.
