I came to Dr McFarland at a very bad time in my life and I truly believe that he saved my life. He was so kind and also understanding of what I was going through. He never judged me or treated me like I was less than anyone else. He helped me regain my life back. I would recommend him and his entire staff to anyone. The nurse and the ladies at the front desk are amazing as well!

The doctor is very nice and through and the medical assistant is wonderful and very sweet. The front end administrative staff, however, is rude. I feel like I cant go into the doctor without getting rude stares or attitude.

I have been a patient of Dr. McFarland for almost 2 years. He is down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. He spends a lot of time with you if needed, and doesnt rush you along to get to his next patient. He genuinely seems to care. He spent time helping me find medications that worked well that were also affordable as I am cash pay. His staff is very friendly and I have never had to wait long to be seen. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a GP/Family Doctor. I will never use anyone else.

Hes been my doctor for over 7 years now, I now live in San Angelo, and I dont want to change physicians! There r not many Docs I am comfortable with! The drive gets old, but I so feel it is worth it! My only complaint is getting a phone call through, I am not calling to talk to a machine, I want some one to answer with knowledge of my plan of care! It may not seem so important to the front office, but I am the patient, been hung up on many times, they have caller I.d.and I sure hope that is not why!More phone lines would be great, treat everyone as if they are important, I have done this work and I am aware of how busy it can get, but we r the patients, and u should strive to make each one special! Get back to everyone as fast as possible. Otherwise Doc McFarland is my favorite, spiritual, I feel I can discuss private issues about my health and feel at ease! Thank you Dr . McFarland for many years of putting up with me! :)

Dr. McFarland is by far my favorite doctor I have ever seen. His nurse that works under him is also amazing.(small blonde girl with short hair) I have almost two years clean and sober and I honestly dont think I would still be clean without the help that he has given me. He is very affordable. Always gives me samples of medicines because sometimes I cant afford them. He actually listens to me and answers ALL of my questions. He doesnt act like hes in a rush to get out and on to the next patient. Seriously if you are struggling with addiction. Go see this man. He can help you. He truly cares. I dont care for most doctors. Alot of them dont care about anything other than money, but Dr. McFarland is one out of a million.! He is very knowledgeable & explains things in a simple way. I will always be greatful for his help and the help his staff has given me as well.!!!!

In tune Dr. and Staff with their specialties. Comforting, welcome, fantastic experience, compared to the sometimes cookie cutter, rubber stamp, lackadaisical, impersonal,distant, and I couldnt care less attitude, projected by; conservatively, 80% of Dr.s & STAFF, I (we) have misfortune to experience over the past 3 years. Thank you Dr. McFarland & Staff for addressing my medical needs in a most humane & timely manner.

Dr.office came off concernd took me on as a temporary new patient .paid all copays up front refuse to send continuing care records to dr in michigan un paid balance( not my fault) again all copays were pd in full so cancelled my percriptions. Found serious health issues and again refuse to send records for care very unprofesional.
