Kathryn did my hair and Im aware that Im surely kind of a challenging customer on that matter. Many other hairdressers probably know what Im talking about.I have to admit: Im totally IMPRESSED by the atmosphere, the service and last but not least by this girl. Not only that she and her colleagues are all super friendly and caring, you also have the feeling from the very beginning that these Ladies are professionals! Im pretty sure I never left a hair salon that perfectly styled and satisfied, after a very delightful chat.The prices are totally fair for such a great service and I really wanna thank the whole team for that great experience. I will be back soon. I highly recommend a Haircut at this place!!!

Very nice people

I have went twice and had different ladies cut my boys hair and they messed up both times. I have to reschedule an appointment to go back and have it fixed. I’ll never take them there again.Also a few years ago I went and had my hair cut there and they messed my hair up and ended up cutting it way to short. I figured since it was so long ago they would have better stylists and maybe they couldn’t mess up a little boys hair cut but they did.

You WILL NOT FIND a better salon in Azle. Kathryn is the only person Ive let touch my hair for the past 4 years. This place is proof that you do not need to spend an arm and a leg and drag your butt into Fort Worth to get amazing service.

Took both of my children and I had 2 different stylists. They were both skilled, good to my kids and to me so I am pleased.

Kathryn worked magic on my hair. I had a not so pretty pink dye on my hair from a bad decision made during quarantine and she totally transformed my hair into a masterpiece. She absolutely went above and beyond and I’ve never been so in love with my hair before. I will definitely be a forever customer!

The only reason they’re getting one star is because I have to choose at least one to leave a review. My husband went it and asked for something similar to a flat top and pretty short. What he got was a joke! They used the clippers and shaved him almost bald on top and left a ring of hair around his head! He didn’t wanna look like an old bald man! I mean come on. Seriously?! They’re lucky I wasn’t there and that my husband is so easy going. The poor guy won’t even take his hat off but he paid for the haircut and left. I have taken my kids here several times and never had any issues but the guy that cut my husbands hair needs to go back to school or something. They definitely lost our business. We’ll go somewhere else.

I am very particular about my beard being trimmed, Hannah, Sam, and Kat always take the time and effort to keep it to what I had asked. Clarissa can always bring a smile to anyone’s face with her personality and friendliness. And always a friendly place to go and hangout with everyone. Those girls will always have my business. Hannah gets a special shoutout for not cutting my Head as I get a shave! Y’all keep it up.

This is the only place I will allow my boyfriend to get his haircut. THEY KNOW EXACTLY what to do, and NEVER mess up. They even did a perfect job on his beard!!Kathryn is such a sweetheart and so amazing at what she does!Thank you Smart Styles!

I went in asking for a cut of about 2 inches so that it would still be below my shoulders. I went the first time and she cut the length right but when I got home I noticed the back was very uneven and had no layers. So I went back and the first girl was gone so I had a different person to fix it. The length is way shorter in the front, chopper off on one side and not the other, totally uneven, and very choppy in the back. I am so upset, I know it will grow back but its so short that Im afraid to have anyone else cut it (a different salon, definitely not this place again).

The hair stylists here are very nice and are excellent at their job, been going here several years now and they have never let me down.

Went to get my 7 year old a hair cut today, didnt catch her name but as she was cutting around his ear I heard him say..ouch! Youre hurting my ear and she says...I wasnt even touching your ear. Well we left and he had 2 spots on his ear that were bleeding! Not going back for sure!

Literally the worst over priced haircut Ive ever gotten. I came home and shaved my damn head. Will NEVER go back !Edit. I did talk with Kathryn and she did re-cut my hair but I asked to keep 2 on top, now I have 1/4 inch on top. Its only hair and will grow back but $20 to shave my head when I could have just done it at home with clippers is not how I wanted to spend my money. I wanted a hair cut not a shaved head. Maybe Oscar should stick to sweeping floors.

Well so much for showing up early. I walked up and Sam was counting her till. I asked her is she could log me in. She said sure. When she opened the salon, she walked over to me and said that this other guy was first. He had an appointment scheduled by someone else. Not only did you lose a frequent customer, I decided to give the girl at Fantastic Sams in Springtown a $20.00 tip. Never again.

This place is amazing! I moved to texas a year ago and needed to get a root touch up and trim for some job interviews... New to the area, I didnt know where to go. I happened to be at walmart and noticed a salon. Honestly, I had second thoughts because I had always gone to high end salons, but took a chance. Im so glad I did!!! Everyone there is amazing! Kathryn was my first impression and she was a hoot! She talked to me and kept me entertained like a true stylist should! She was extremely professional and went over all procedures and prices with me. I made my first friend in texas that day!! I have not been anywhere else since. Ive had everything from root touch ups, high lights, low lights, trims, cuts, and even made my hair vibrant red!!! I always leave Happy! Oscar, Sammy, Kathryne... Everyone rocks! If you want that beauty shop experience... Look no further!

The WORST place I have ever had my hair cut! For a basic male haircut, it took the girl almost 1 1/2 hours, her hands were shaking she kept stopping and talking to the other stylist in the salon. I got home and I had long pieces around my ears and in the back of my head! I have never in my life had such a bad haircut! I had to leave there and went to Supercuts to have my hair corrected from the cut she never finished! My suggestion is NEVER go to this hair salon!

I forgot that this is Easter weekend. So I went to my regular hair place in Azle SMARTLOOKS and is was PACKED!!!! I remembered this Hair salon in Walmart so I dropped in to take a look. NO WAITING WONDERFUL!!!! I only wanted my hair blown dry and straightened. The girl ( who had only two teeth in the front of her mouth uugghhh) told me it would be $64.00 OMG Its only $10.00 at smart looks. Better check the prices before you sit in their chair. No wonder there is usually no customers in that shop!!!!!
