For the customer service on the telephone was awesome i had no issue getting any relevant services complete from the assistance and directory line.

Care1st provides all kinds of valuable resources and services. If you have never known about them I highly recommend you checking them out! The main reason I have gone there is for the VITA program for (volunteer) income tax assistance every year which is Absolutely Awesome. Friendly. Professional. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Simply makes the whole process so much less stressful or worrisome for me. I totally appreciate this being offered. Thank you!

I was assisted greatly at their center. They have a good intake process and the workers there are kind, courteous and efficient. I previously came here for a 2 day free First aid and CPR class for certification. They have multiple classes each month and dental services for children

Whoever answers the phone is extremely rude and impatient and hung up on me. I am a manager myself and would never have such poor customer service. I cannot believe the audacity some people have. Definitely not how you handle yourself at work. Due to the covid pendemic I need assistance as most of us do . Ive called multiple times and knew what documents to bring. When arrived i filled out my paperwork and waited. When finally assisted I needed an additional document that I wasnt told I needed the previous 2 times I called. I told another lady I have it on my phone and if i could email it so I dont have to come back and she said yes and gave me the email address. I sent the document and waited more,(10min till closing). She left to speak to the gal who assisted me(Im assuming) and came back and said I needed to come back with a paper copy which I dont understand why when she told me I could email it and she herself had it on email and couldve printed it out for me. Im assuming they knew I had no access to print it out with now 5 min till closing(5pm) and didnt want to assist me any longer. they had all documents and now I have to come back in 2weeks on my next day off and then wait additional 3 weeks for a decision because they didnt want to do their job.i was there since 4! Management needs to take a closer look at the employees they hire for such sensitive positions . Instead of being rude and expressing my frustrations to the employees I thought Id write a review and not make a scene. Hopefully my review gets taken seriouse and the employees get educated in customer service

Everyone here is so kind and so willing to help you and answer your questions. I brought my 2yr old here to get a free hearing test and eye test and although she wasnt having it for the hearing test they were very patient and understanding and gave me some information about taking her to do alternative hearing tests for her. After her eye test they went through it with me very thoroughly so that I understood the results. They also have a booth up that offer free dental exams and give you toothbrushes afterwards. They are so cute looking. There are computers available for you to use if you need to make a resume, essay, or do some job applications. They also have wic assistants to help you apply if needed. As well as monthly educational events for your kiddos to enjoy. There are play areas for the kids to play while they wait for you as well. Overall it is a very resourceful place and the staff are very friendly.

They help the the community folks who need help. They do everything in their budget or want the state will allow them to do they go above and beyond their job . Were not just a pay check to them. One employee gave me money to eat onone day out of her own pocket. Because I was to hot to make to the food bank less than 2 miles away and apologized she couldnt take me their her self she had no drivers license and I found out shes a volunteer 5 days a week .. she dont get paid to help the poor she dose it cause she cares. Dont need to get paid to help someone out you do it because your care about your community people. Someone helped me when I really needed it years ago. She made me want to give back to good people who need a heads up sometime, I help cause I care not because I need a pay check. I just hope I can help out at least1 person a day. When they come back and say you dont get paid nearly enough to go to the length you did to help me everyone else gave up on me but not you , you you did everything you could , even help me out when yall were closed. Thank to all the voulnteres there . You let us know were not just a paycheck to you . You really care about about us you gotta care you dont get paid to help someone, you do it because you want to make a difference in the world

Such a great resource for the city of Avondale. Many programs offered and they are centrally located. Only downside is that Western Avenue needs a major repaving overhaul.

They are alot of help there. They are the best. They go out of there way to get the best help that they can. They are wonderful there.

Friendly staff. Lots of resources in one place. The lines and wait times are shorter than at county offices. WIC office is quick and easy. Has a parking lot but not much shade. I prefer going here than going to the DES office.

Super clean. Super friendly. Have amazing resources including wic, des help, low income help. Everyone is super friendly. Went to get help setting up my car seat for the baby.

I give care first a five-star rating they are really nice and helpful the ladies are in there get the work done quick and easy it was a really fast in and out usually you are stuck waiting outside the DES office for half the day but we went to CareFirst and it was a really fast in and out thank you for taking care of us would go back again well have to go back again

Well turned away from yet another place thats supposed to help with resources. If a agency is in place to help then help, thats what your there for. I will say at least the receptionist at this place was nicer than the one at Phoenix Family Services Center.

Friendly employees. Very helpful. I got two carseats from them at no cost. And the wait is never long when I go there.

Very helpful coordinators. Staff is a little unpolished as they are young. Lots of help can be obtained here.

Has many resources and I always go here to renew nutrition assistance or AHCCCS. You can make an appointment here for help and its much quicker

I had a very bad experience at Care 1st. Arecelly was very abrasive toward me. When I left I cried. Everyone deserves to be treated and spoken to with respect. I do not recommend this resource center.

Waited an hour to find out theres no room. They are feeding kids under 18 free lunch.

My disappointment was that I filed my taxes there and was very disappointed with the out come I worked all year made 20.290.00 and walked out with nothing last year I made less 14.000 and got back around 800.00.so next year im sure I wouldnt be going back there
