I was blown away at this skilled center. It is so clean, and the staff they are taking such good care of her. I thought I was taking good care of her at home. But they have done a amazing job of caring for her. She is always clean no matter when I go there, and smiling. Skilled care has come along since I worked in one many years ago. I thank the staff from the front door, back to the unites bless you for what you do. It feels good not to have to worry about her care.

When you are left to make a decision For care of my Father With the covid restrictions This is the only option that we had They have a 10 day restriction policy with no visitors So I take their word for it that my Father is being taken care of well Because the only communication that we have is through phone calls from the nurses Theyre evaluation of my father Was that he was able to walk on his own and get around on his own And come to find out that on discharge day it was confined to a Wheelchair Is his pain evaluation Was at a 10 being the worst We are very dissatisfied on the decision that they had made to discharge him My husband left multiple messages with the nursing staff and they never got back to him Very dissatisfied with their center ... They get Zero Stars

In every nursing home there are going to be issues just like there are issues with every company in the world. The building and furniture are very out dated and the rehab gym needs a makeover. But all in all the staff has been nothing but caring to my loved one. If there is an issue it is quickly addressed by the social worker Leanna. No one wants there loved one in a place like this ever but sometimes we can not see what the future holds and what medical care our loved ones will need. I just want to thank all of the staff.

My grandfather has been in this facility for a few weeks now. The staff is very accommodating, and keeps me up to date on how he is progressing. The Social Worker there, Leanna Rice, is absolutely wonderful. She definitely takes pride in how much she cares for the residents.

My mother was in this facility and it was not a wonderful experience. Nursing homes and never are unless you have the money to get the best. This, is not the best. Its adequate if you have no other options.

Coming from my own family member experience. Ive heard nothing but bad things. My grandpa often complains about lack of care as well as food or water. Wakes up in the middle of the night from hunger and also complains about several other issues. Yet seem to never get better. I see online reviews giving this place high credit yet. Digging deeper I only see this place getting worse. Some reviews matching what my own relative is going through. I would just like to see something get done. My aunt has also been prevented from visiting yet she has gotten the covid vaccine. Before jumping to conclusions, take into consideration and dig through other websites to get your own opinion. Still as of today my grandpa hates being there however, we just dont have many options at the moment and are investigating into what is actually happening.

Do not bring your loved one here! My grandpa just past away this week from negligence. I am taking legal action for medical malpractice. The hospital where we went him to has now submitted an investigation as well. The staff is very unprofessional too, do not bring your loved one here!!!

This is a great place! I’ve had family members there and they’ve always received top notch care. The staff are competent and knowledgeable. The management is awesome. If you want your loved one to receive great care take them to Estrella Center.

I was a patient there in December 2018 & I have to say, it was a great place to be, staff, admissions & therapies were such a benefit to me. I was there for therapy after I had fractured my hip. If you are in need of therapy you will definitely get it there for sure, their rehab director is top notch & she will make sure you are getting all you need for therapy & she will not let you miss a session because she pushes her rehab department & staff to make sure you are getting exactly what you are there for. I was on Station Four & the staff was very caring & would do exactly what you needed done. There was a nursing assistant there named Adela & she was fantastic, the most caring person I have ever met. She made sure & certain your needs were met & always answered a light when you turned it on. But actually they were all great. And my theory is if you are kind with them, they will in turn be kind to you. Also when I needed something for pain if the time was right I got it. Another thing is they didn’t run my husband out, he could stay as long as I wanted him too. Now when it came to food, it was certainly not like home, but it was edible. Just a good place to be when you need them & cannot do it on your own.

Wonderful and Caring Center. My brother has been in the Estrella Center for years. The staff is so wonderful and caring with him. They always call and give me updates on his condition and promptly address any of his medical needs. I would highly recommend them to any friend or family member!

I am extremely satisfied with kind care I received.They genuinely and promptly addressed my concern for my recovery. in a highly professional manner. I will highly recommend to everyone in need to avail their excellent kind caring service.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Your staff neglected my grandmother and left her to basically rot in her bed during this time. She was almost DEAD when she arrived at the hospital. You all are very sinister and only God knows what goes on in that place with no actual loved ones around to check on them. Shame on all of you!Update: on 8/1/2020 my grandmother passed away in the hospital alone. Due to your staff and their neglect she no longer has life. I advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. This place WILL be sued and EVERYONE involved in the diabolical behavior against my grandmother and the other patients will also be held accountable. You all are trash and you deserve and WILL have the same energy you gave my grandmother and the patients. My heart goes out to ANY patient that is held captive here under the mercy of these wretched people. All of you are done.

This is a great place to be when youre trying to get better the people here are wonderful and they all become youre very good friends. Helping you to heal is their number one goal.But when your insurance runs out you are nothing but a number to them and thats for sure! They kicked me out with only one day warning! Better make sure that your insurance doesnt run out while your loved ones are here.

The evening receptionist is amazing. This is a great place. Highly recommend.

Estrella Care Center is one the best places a person could work. The staff are an amazing group of hard working people who love what they do. Everyone truly cares about our patients. Its not really work I guess if you love what you do.

I am my Brothers POA. Even though he has special needs, he lives by himself and drives. I handle his Bills, grocery shopping, and any medical and legal decisions. He ended up in Estrella after a brief hospital stay, simply from being dehydrated because of not drinking enough water when it warmed up a few weeks ago. A part of his special needs is the fact that he has always walked a little slow.A few days after he arrived at Estrella, I started asking different employees when he would be discharged. I never got an answer, not even a phone call. Then I was asked to speak to Finance and asked her. Of course, she couldnt tell me except it depended on how he did with therapy. Of course she told me that Medicare only allows 3 weeks and at that point I told her I expected him to be released before then.I sat in on a therapy session and he did everything like he normally did, including getting in and out of my car. I asked the therapist about a discharge, AGAIN, I got nothing. All of a sudden, they schedule an appointment with a Neurologist. I AGAIN, dont know why. I NEVER got a call back from ANY doctor what so ever on his progress or any concerns.3 weeks later, I get a random call stating he is going to be released ( coincidentally the exact time that Medicare allows). I still know nothing about how he did or anything they were concerned about.If you wonder why your insurance premiums are so high, this is why. My Brother was ready to go home a week after he got there but they literally kept him there as long as Medicare was paying whether it was medically necessary or not. The staff avoided answering any of my questions. Every time I went to see him, he was sitting in a wheelchair. He is perfectly capable of walking.I dont recommend this facility because of the fact that they milk Medicare for what they can get.I forgot to mention they lost the clothes he went in with. He kept asking them and it took me calling and complaining to a manager after several days for him to get them back that afternoon.

During tough decisions admitting to a facility we made that choice with 3 family members & chose this facility each time. It is an older building but it is pretty most importantly has friendly/caring staff & it is clean. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Genesis Estrella. Center. Is a home away from home residents, patient s. Needs. Is addressed first and foremost staff is friendly and always concerned about meeting the needs of residents from housekeeping , kitchen staff and the medical staff are all there to make residents always feel at home. Their rehab is the best across the valley

I been here 11 weeks and the staff are great. They care and very nice. It feels like home. The therapy people positive out look in life. Always smiles and music to listen to.

My husband spent 4 month in this care center. I was there everyday I could be. His room was always clean. He himself was clean and shaven. He said the food was ok. He did not like spicy foods so with the help of the dieticians they made a menu that fit his taste. All the staff made my husbands stay easier and comfortable to the last. Thank you all for taking care of him and me when I was there.

I feel they should listen to the family more and with more empathy and compassion. That stage of life affects everyone in the family. Try not to be so busy that you can’t see that. They are short staffed on CNA’s, making this support staff work twice as hard as I’ve ever seen. On the other hand there are a small number of nurses and CNA’s that really know what they are doing and can win over even the toughest patient with their smiles.

This place is a great place to work, we work as a team and we care about our residents. Unfortunately there are people who will not be happy no matter how much you do and no matter how hard you try. We all try our best, but some people will be horrible and miserable no matter what. We chalk it up to people being unhappy with their lives so they need someone to take it out on. Unfortunately it happens.

This place is great. The staff is very nice and very professional.Landrian the speech therapist is awesome and one great guy.The doctors and nurses seem to really care for their patients.The building is clean and does not smell poorly.I would recommend this facility for anyone who needs rehab.

Ive been at this facility for 4.5 years now.Activities has really improved 100%. Our new administrator is making a lot of new improvements. I am happy to be to live here.

This is a fantastic health facility, all my needs were taken care of, and I feel great now! There was this one nurse named Cynthia at station one. She was absolutely delightful, always friendly and it definitely seemed like she knew what she was doing. The wound care that she administered was great, I didnt have any complications under her care. If I ever have these health problems again, which I hope I dont; I hope she is my nurse.

Dont do it! There rating is high only because of the employees giving it a 5 star. Average would be much lower, slick move Estrella. A few good staff members but, most are either lazy or in the wrong field. Management will lie about your loved ones health and when caught, get away with it. My Mom was a wonderful lady who had some very caring people around her, but the ones that are not in the field for the right reason, will lie and say they fed her or gave her water,etc.,when they never did. I witnessed some residents not fed. My Mom went to them because of health issues, but had her wits. They would not feed her or give water, wash her face, help her to bathroom, clean her dentures until it was asked of them by family. Her meds were missed, she would fall and staff would lie and say they saw it and didnt. Other staff would tell us what really happened. Head of nursing is unable to manage and the director is a glorified admin, both will keep staff who should be fired. Some staff would tell us how others were drunk or high, stealing from residents, giving wrong dose of meds that caused major health issues and sedating when not ordered. They will discuss medical information in front of everyone. All this was documented and corporate made aware, but nothing changed. This place needs be shut down!! When my Mother passed they sent an unsigned card! Goes to show the heartless people managing. I dont wish anyone to have to live there and if your family member does you will need to be involved. As I see that employees posting great places to work, I have to laugh. Their posts happen around the time corporate made an appearance. It appears. They get great satisfaction over the pain and anguish they caused my family and the mistreatment of an elderly woman who is dearly missed. How dare them send an unsigned card, prohibit staff from attending my Moms services and declining transportation to residents who wanted to attend my Moms services!
