Was great until she left Abrazo. Moved to different provider which does not take our Ins. We waited for several months to see only to be told we cannot!

I would not recommend. I chose this Dr because it was convenient however, I will be looking for another Dr. They never get back to you and it seems like she has no interest on finding what the issue is with my body. For the last year she always says lets give it another 6 months and see how you feel. The staff who reaches out is also very rude and sounds like they get annoyed when you ask questions. If you have an unknown issue that needs to be resolved do not go here. If its something simple where you just need medication to get prescribed maybe its for you.

She seems nice at first for a professional but I’ve been there twice and been promised things that I haven’t seen for my time and money and referrals are a joke and if you’re transgender or need help being yourself don’t come here she cares nothing for you or transgender people in general

Dr Peckumn is extremely thorough. I’ve only had one appointment, but I can already tell she’s going to do everything she can to find out the underlying cause of my hormonal issues. I have never had a doctor like her and I definitely recommend seeing her.

Unbelievable. I waited three months to get into see this doctor. I waited over an hour for her to actually come into see me. Then when she did, she told me everything my internist already told me, sent me for blood work and the sent me a bill for over $350! So upsetting!

I recently switched from being under the care of another endocrinologists to Dr. Peckumn, and I am more then confident that I made the right decision. The experience that I had with Dr. Peckumn does not reflect any of the 1-star reviews on here. Dr. Peckumm exceeded my high expectations. I have some endocrinological issues that require a work-up every 6 months (i.e. MRI, ultra sound, blood work). She is very knowledgable, thorough, competent, & explains things in laymans terms to ensure that I understand everything concerning my care. Her bedside manner is a breath of fresh air from most doctors I have been to. I highly recommend Dr. Peckumn. She is absolutely amazing!

Hypothyroidism patient here …Boy, am I glad that I did not read the reviews about Dr. Peckumn prior to my first appointment and went with an open mind! I found scheduling extremely easy and the check-in process at the office was fast and efficient. The location is nice, new, and clean (except for the two restrooms that I used, those were dirty) and all of the staff members I came in contract with were friendly.I did not have to wait long in the waiting room before Dr. Peckumn’s assistant called me in; he was polite and attentive, and took all the time that was needed to record my medical history and my reason for seeing the Dr. Peckumn. Shortly after he left the room, I could hear him reiterate the [main] information that he received from me to the Doctor outside before she entered the room - which I thought was neat because she already had an “idea” about the reason for my visit.Dr. Peckumn was warm, welcoming, and polite. She went over my history again and made detailed notes, she actively listened to my concerns, and offered honest feedback. She explained limitations in the research of the treatment of hypothyroidism to me, specifically when I asked about proper diet. She also explained that it is a very individualized condition without a cure, meaning treatment is treating “symptoms” and what may work for one person, may not work at all for another. She did an exam and showed me models to explain things. My appointment ran 20 minutes behind and at first I was a little annoyed while I was waiting for her. But then I understood that she truly takes her time with the patient! (I can’t remember the last time I did not feel rushed during a doctor’s visit) Which I believe to be beneficial for the patient.Overall, I found Dr. Peckumn competent, professional, and very empathetic. Empathy is a big deal especially when you’re told “your labs are fine, so you’re fine” everywhere else, all while feeling like doo doo all of the time. So, I would say.. check her out and see if she is a good fit for YOU, if not, move on. If so, yay.

Horrible service and unprofessional staff. Among other things, I heard the staff making fun of a patient.

This doctor was not concerned about hormone levels only wanted to sell an expensive weight loss injection. Not even worth waisting your time on this doctor.
