I would not recommend this place, I had a eye exam done using my insurance. I was supposed to get contact and they ended up doing a regular eye exam.. My first time getting contacts so I did not know what the process was and I did mark contacts on my form. So then they scheduled me for contacts and pretty upset about it since I then would be getting an free exam in their eyes. They were rude during this whole process. Then took in a pair of frames to have my lenses put in, my husband picked up the frame and there are marks all through out my frame as if there where drill marks or burn marks. Please take your business elsewhere if you want to feel valued as a customer and your items to be well taken care of in their hands.

The front desk staff in this office are extremely rude and have very poor communication skills. I have been with this office for many years and will never return. The staff has become very poor and the last time I was in there I was afraid to try on glasses because they were either really dusty or had finger prints all over them. This place has definitely gone way down hill.

Decent place been going here for years. Their selection of frames isn’t too big. Extremely inconvenient that they are closed weekends and close at 5:30 for anyone working a 9-5

I made my appointment 2 weeks ago and provided my insurance information I came to my appointment 10 minutes early lady said her systems have been down and does not have any of my information and would need to pay $90 to be scene! When my copay is $20 with insurance, then said it was my problem because her system in down. What the hell is wrong with your front desk I will never return and take my family of 6 to another office and advise everyone not to go here either!

I was shocked at the service we received here. We were 5 min early and were seen 25 minutes after our appointment time only after I had to come to the front desk to ask when they would be seeing us. They were rude an annoyed that I was concerned about my daughter missing lunch at school. No apologies for the lateness of their service. They took us to a tiny room with 3 staff in it and crammed my daughter and I in. They didn’t explain anything before starting to spray water in my daughters eyes. The woman who closed the door and DID NOT sanitizer her hands afterward came up to my daughters face and began squeezing water into my daughters eyes without the slightest explanation to what was going to happen. My 9 year old daughter was shaking from concern and shock. Taken to another room to wait for 10 min. Then we were taken out of that room and brought back to it later with someone else in it. SO disorganized. SO unprofessional. I told the doctor at the end that I was uncomfortable with the fact that no one wore gloves because of general gems but especially Covid with us having a baby at home and his hostile response was “I don’t know any optometrist who wears gloves.” Then I had to remind him again for the cups of their tests I asked for (bc I’m never going back here!) and he went out to the front desk, and when the printer was slow he bagged the front desk attendant as to why it was so slow and literally said in from of me: “ you need to call these people! (As he pointed to the sticker on the printer) we are paying for them to fix this!” I felt so bad for her! This place is awful to their staff AND their patients. I will never go back and I hope this review keeps anytime else from having to experience this horrid place.

Really bad scheduling services, I made an appointment about a month ago for me and my son, they had me to wait that long because it was the only one available after 5pm. So I booked. Today we went over there and this lady told us the appointment was at 5:20 and since it was 5:40 already they can only do one of us!! I told her they sent me an email with the confirmation, and she only said Im sorry, but only one. So, do not waste your time scheduling in this company, my recomendation.

Ive been going to Vision Wellness for over 6 years now. I love the staff, Dr. Lee has always been great with my annual exams. I get excellent care, and my prescription glasses always come out perfect. I will continue to see Dr. Lee and enjoy the services of this establishment. Thank you!

From the front office staff to doctors Lee and Ambrose, you will be provided with the best eye care Im aware of in the west valley.They use the latest state of the art technology and the office is warm and inviting. Dr. Ambrose has a great demeanor and he takes his time to explain your diagnosis and treatment, unlike some physicians trying to see how many patients they can see in one day.If you are looking for a group of highly professional eye specialists, do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you wont be disappointed.

1st doc was great. 18 months later 2and doc was great. Staff can be rude. Oh and they never call you back but they insect they do but my phone has call Id (pay extra for exact info to come through) then Im calling back a month or two later just for them to say oh we called bs. So now my son is going else where

I took my three kids to vision wellness right after school, I was really impressed with the service we got all of them were treated respectively and promptly we spent less than an hour. Honestly, I’m really impressed with the level of their efficiency and professionalism. My kids 10, 7, and 6 years said we love this office and we want to continue coming here every year. I was one of Vision Wellness first clients.I enjoyed Dr. Vogl and have come to enjoy the new team just as well.I read the negative reviews about glasses, let me just say, you get what you pay for.I have a challenging RX. For a moment, VW was not on my insurance... so I went to a competitor. My RX never fit me correctly. RETURNED to VW - they looked at my glasses and said, you were not measured correctly. We put new lens in and voila I could see again.In my opinion, their is value in the cost. My glasses are always right the first time and the frames hold their shape. The glasses last.THANKS VW - looking forward to my next appointment!

I loved Dr. Lees office! I was able to get in super quickly after checking in and Dr. Lee found an eye issue Ive been having since childhood that 6 other optometrists Ive seen in the past were unable to diagnose.Thanks to Dr. Lee Im not having double vision (Or migraines!) for the first time in 15 years!!!!!The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. I was able to get a great pair of glasses that werent outrageously expensive like most places. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt want.And the lady that one star reviewed that the office staff that they were pushing up their breasts....... None of the office staff wore coats that I could see... I think she may be talking about another facility. (West Valley Vision?).

I really like Dr. Lee and his associates at Vision Wellness. They are courteous, friendly, caring and very thorough. Dr. Lee takes the time to listen to concerns and fully explains the problem and what hes prescribing to help. I highly recommend them!

Ive been going here the last three years and have had appointments with both Dr. Lee and Dr. Black. Setting up the appointment is always very quick, the staff is friendly, the process from start to end is just what youd expect and I havent ever had an issue. Ive had glasses ordered as well as contacts and whether they ship it to you direct or you pick them up from the office, it has consistently been easy and they have been great to work with.

My first exam was great. Office was nice Dr. Lee is nice. The second appointment I arrived 15 minutes early and an hour after my scheduled time I was still waiting in the exam room. No one bothered to come in and let me know what was going on. I walked out and said Im not waiting and Ill take my business elsewhere.They ended up calling me and apologizing adding me to come back. I decided to go back and get glasses. Ive called to get updated on the status of my order and I keep getting someone will call you back and no one calls back. I was even hung up on during one of my calls. Not only does no one know where my glasses are Ive come to realize they are outrageously expensive. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Front desk staff checked on my insurance, giving out a social security number loud enough for others to hear. Mr.Ambrose never looked at me or spoke to me while giving my children their eye exams. After doing so, told me they were fine and it seemed like 1 minute of his time was too much for him. They just want $$$ and dont care about being kind or taking the time to explain things. Im extremely disappointed!!! They will not get anymore of my business.

The Doctors are good; however the receptionists are very rude and dont care what you have to say. They actually ignore you!The lady that fits your glasses and works with your needs, so you would think... Sells you what you dont need.. My guess, Mo Money $$The prices for frames and lenses are outrageous.. Especially when they sell you what you dont need.If you need a good eye exam, they can do that. Just be prepared to be rudely treated by the front receptionists.If I knew then what I know now.. I would never have gone there.

Im very disappointed, I was being loyal, its time to purchase my new pair of Oakley transitional and sun glasses and was calling to make sure they accept my new insurance, the lady who took my call at 2:35pm was rude and wanted to make sure I knew she was the expert and that I was ignorant when it came to my insurance. She went out of her way to prove me wrong and once successful, asked me to come in, strong arming me basically, I had another question and while trying to ask, cut me off to ask if I wanted an appointment.Im honestly blown away, if this is how they treat you, Im over it. Customer service is important, she ruined it.

I have been coming to this location for years, and have always been happy-until this last time on December 11th. While i was happy with Dr. Ambrose, as usual, he is always a pleasure to see, super friendly and polite every time.But when i went to look for a pair of glasses i was helped by a woman named Rose. Now i had picked a pair of frames out and specifically asked her how much would the frames be after my insurance. Rose gives me a price and it wasnt too bad, so then i ask how much my contacts would be for a year supply, again the price wasnt too bad, so i check and ask what the price would be in total. Not too ba at all. Well! Rose then starts adding all these other numbers into the cost and gives me a new price that is $200 more than what she previously told me! I start discussing with the person who came(Kris) with me about the price and saying maybe getting something cheaper, or going elsewhere. Rose very rudely asks me if i will be buying the lenses, i tell her that is what we are discussing. Kris mentions maybe buying them online, to which Rose chimes in(again, with attitude) the so called statistics of getting frames online. Rose again asks if im buying the frames, because SHE ALREADY PUT IN THE ORDER! Without confirming with me if i was actually buying them or not! I tell her that i cannot afford everything as this time. Rose tells me i only have to put half down now and half in two weeks at pick up again, i say i cannot afford that at that tine. So with attitude, Rose says she has to cancel the order now.Now, if Rose had not been so rude i would have found another pair of frames for a cheaper price that i could afford. But because of the very poor, very rude service that Rose provided me i will be looking elsewhere for my frames and my contacts. However Dr. Ambrose will continue to see me as he is a very wonderful doctor.Vision Wellness, i implore you to discuss this with Rose, as i work in customer service as well and would never treat my clients how she treated me that day. You dont throw in hidden figures last minute nor do you put in an order without confirmation FIRST!

I have been a patient for many years now and just ordered new glasses.Unfortunately, their customer service at the Avondale location sucks!I dont know what happened with managemen here, but Im really upset. The receptionist at this location is really rude, she kept cutting me off while on the phone. Not even a thank you before hanging up, she would even hang up before I finished talking.Im a paying customer and feel I/we have to be treated in a friendly and respectfully manner.

I had great experiences the last few times but this time was awful, from the rude receptionist who refused to believe my insurance info, to waiting an hour for my appointment with nobody communicating that to me, to finally receiving a text and email saying my contacts were ready only to arrive and find out they werent. This place has really gone downhill. The only good part was the actual exam.

I went in last year for my eye exam and the Dr want to do a other test on me a week later he did advise me n tol me it was covered through my insurance and now 8 months later their billing me for something I was tol was cover contacted my insurance and adv me since it was out of network that it doesnt cover the charge but funny my vision coverage was covered but not the medical part. 😡 and also there frames are priced outrageously. I will not give my business to this provider EVER again

Doctor is great, but you will have to watch the staff. After the appointment with Dr. Lee, we were sent to get glasses. I watched the tech open her lab coat and push up her breasts before walking over to my husband (which she didnt realize we were together at the time). All of the glasses I picked out that were within our covered range and budget started disappearing after I would give them to my husband.She would say nope those dont look good and she would put them under her station. She then talked him into a pair that were $350 over our insurance coverage. She upsold him on every possible thing using the fact that he wouldnt be able to wear them at work. I had been removed by another tech who had realized I was saying no to everything she was saying.If they fix the office staff and make it more about eye health than selling the higher-end designer glasses, I would probably return. However, I have found another office, so I dont think I will go back anytime soon to find out if issues have been resolved.

Be careful with this office they will bill your insurance company for procedures you never received and then to add insult to injury when you call they talk to you like you are stupid there are plenty of optometrists in the Phoenix metro area steer clear of this place. they got 1 star only because you cant post a zero

I love going to Vision Wellness for my eye exams!! Dr. Lee and Dr. Black are amazing doctors and very knowledgeable. Theyre always up to date with new technology. No more puff of air to check my eye pressure (which was always the worst part), and no more dilation!! They provide other and more accurate ways to check my eyes health which is great. The selection of glasses have become better than previous years and I can always count on them to have the most trendiest frames (Tom Ford, Michael Kors, Versace, etc.) The staff at Vision Wellness are super nice and always excited to help me whether its setting up an appointment or ordering glasses, etc. I highly recommend Vision Wellness to anyone, especially my friends and family. They will take care of you!!!

Doc is ok, but staff is rude and very unhelpful. Tried giving them multiple tries and I always end up waiting 30+ minutes past my appointment time to be seen and getting a simple contact prescription seems to take an excessive number of visits. Wont be returning.

Honestly its alright. The eye doctor was awesome but the office staff is kind of a joke. Also regardless of when their website says they are open for business if you are here to pick up glasses the opticians apparantly dont arrive till 0815.

Getting my first appointment scheduled was a nightmare I was put on hold like 3 times till I finally told the different girl who answered Im not holding anymore schedule my appointment. You cant ever call that office the first time & someone answer. Ive been calling since they first opened & still no answer. Its ridiculous. Horrible service from the front desk they definitely need more training. You should never call an office & they not answer. The glasses are over priced of course I still purchased mine just for the convenient location. I wish anyone luck with getting someone to answer & attend to you right away.
