Way to small... no room. Nit nearly enuff equipment as any other power house gyms. Was very disappointed...

I joined Powerhouse Gym in September of 2016. My experiences so far have been fantastic. Its a smaller gym which I like and no one is there for competition, rather just to get a good workout. People come to PG in all shapes, ages, and sizes;) Ive taken a couple classes (spinning, yoga) and the instructors were great! I also try to run/elliptical 3-4 times a week. At the end of November I found myself getting frustrated as I didnt see the results of losing weight that I would of liked to. I then decided to get a personal trainer for the first time in my life! Matthew Brown has been fantastic! I see him one day a week for a workout, but he also provides recipes for meals and provides written workouts! He has taught me its more then just cardiovascular but you have to incorporate weight training/core training, legs, arms, etc or you will just plateau and not see results which happened to me. Just today, I am down 5%body fat, and 5 total inches which Im thrilled about!!! If you are looking for a great personal trainer..Matthew Brown is it!

Been going here for a few months now. Love it. $22 a month, 24/7 access, no contract, no fees, no bs. Small gym but has what you need. Classes are extra but optional.

Used gym while on a nocturnal schedule on nights; Overall adequate equipment for any lifting routine, not many people at all at the hours I used. I did have an issue with an understanding of contract which is why I didnt give 5 stars, I signed up under a promotional rate of 50 dollars for 3 months, and was later billed at a rate I did not expect or understand previously. I discussed this with manager and after a few days we came to agreed terms, as with any gym, my advice is to make sure if you join under a promotional offer, that the rate you will be charged afterwards is clearly defined and the cancellation terms are understood.

This gym is so great, for everybody! Having 24/7 access is perfect for my full time work & full time school schedule. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have been training with Andy and HIGHLY recommend him, he is fantastic. Then again, the whole gym is fantastic.

Matthew Brown has been a tremendous help along with all of the other staff being super friendly and welcoming and nonjudgmental. He pushes you but doesnt use excessive force to help you achieve your goals. He lays out realistic goals and plans for you to follow and stick to. Im very self conscious and I am very comfortable with working with him and look forward to my continued progress and success from having him train me.

Matt is the best trainer ever!!! I tell my friends..If Im not hating him by the end of my workout, he wasnt effective. I think I start telling Matt that I hate him 5 minutes into our workout. He definitely keeps me motivated and in track. This is going to be my best year ever!

I love my gym. The staff are so friendly and my core strengthening class has helped me get more fit. I use their treadmills almost every day. They also take Silver Sneakers.

Good basic gym. There were plenty of machines available. It is cramped for space, but liveable. Treadmills could use some attention. Saw some new machines so they are upgrading! Staff very pleasant. This is your small neighborhood gym.

Recently moved & asked for credit on my account to be refunded for specific classes I paid in advance, but was unable to use because of no attendance & classes were cancelled - but owner refused to refund. Several months later, I asked that credit be applied to my annual membership renewal, but owner refused again. When I moved & let membership terminate, owner would not refund monies paid on account & preceded to harass me about how I scammed them to give promotional rates, which is untrue.They were giving $10/mo to everybody else but me! As their first member, I paid what they advertised, then the rates went up every year while I was a member & I paid the new rates as quoted. It is a small, boutique club that emphasizes personal training for lots of $$$. It is in need of some updating with the circuit training equipment, as the seat covers need to be repaired.

Clean and friendly atmosphere. They have many convenient time slots for classes which make it very easy to schedule a class that works for you. Its never been overly crowded. Im not a gym person and Ive been very comfortable and look forward to my workout here!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They will work with you no matter your level of experience. Enough free weights, strength training and cardio machines to get what you need done. Theres room for some improvements, but I cant complain with the gym right now.

Place is super convient they don’t hawk you down but the personal training service is very good!

A great team of personal trainers that are always there to motivate you and push you. The part that I love the most is that they are so open to teaching you so you can take that knowledge with you for the rest of your life.

Matt is the best trainer!!! He currently has me doing a 30 day ab challenge and I’m already seeing definition and his meals are awesome and his recipes are delicious but clean!!!
