Review of Dr. AckermanI received a blood test results in November 2020. I called the office and told the office that my heart enzymes were elevated and if that was a concern. I emailed and I faxed my results to the doctors office. I never heard back from the doctor’s office I had an appointment January 26, 2021. I had to go to the hospital on 1/24/21. The doctor told me I was OK I ended up in the hospital three days later with cardiomyopathy. I felt like Dr. Ackerman was completely Unprepared and his exam was not very thorough. While I was in the hospital, I was taken care of by his partner Dr. Pollock who in my opinion was more Competent; However, when I was released from the hospital the staff person that called me was extremely condescending and arrogant. I do not know why patients have to be treated as victims by doctors.I switched cardiologist and I’m very happy

If you are looking for the best cardiologist and doctor in general, Its Dr Ackerman. I`ve seen so many so i can tell with the absolute confidence, he is my favourite. Here is why: Unlike other doctors he will dedicate as much time as you need to listen to you, ask and answer your questions, look and discuss you tests and explain his train of thoughts. Very compassionate, understanding. Even knowing i have anxiety , he never ever says its all in my head, but rather explains how sympathetic nervous system work. Very happy with my experience!

Dr. Ackerman is an amazing human being first.. You can see his absolute passion for being a Physician. He was so patient kind empathetic to my wife... he was fluid in his thorough exam and also friendly as he calmed her down from her skipped beats she was fearful of. We felt relaxed and believe me I am discerning because I am a Doctor Of Physiotherapy and understand what it takes to deal with anxious patients who need to be rassured... happy to find him.. 10 stars Dr. Ackerman.. THE REAL THING!
