The owner Jessica was very professional with great techniques for my hair styling and blowdry!! She did an amazing job with my hair ! The salon is very clean and private!! Her hair products that she used on me feel light and smell amazing. Highly recommend!

After I read the reviews for this salon, I figured it would be a good place for my 13 year old daughter and I to do our hair before a wedding on a Sunday. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Its a bad sign when the stylists arent even dressed professionally or much less have their hair styled. Anyhow, after showing the stylist several pictures of how I wanted my hair to look, I thought they would have done a better job then what was done. One of stylists tried doing my hair, and then she just left to style another client without even saying anything to me. She left the other stylist to take care of my daughter and I....at the same time. My daughter only wanted curls with a simple half up half down hairstyle. Which was straight within 1 hour. I didnt think my style was difficult either. However, it took nearly 3 1/2 hours and we also had to listen to ghetto music with curse words, the entire time. I thought when I I made the appointment for 9am, that it would provide more then enough time to do our hair, and make it to the wedding on time. I had to rush home and rush thru my makeup application and still get to the wedding late. The $108 I paid was not worth it at all.

I was forced to look for a new colorist and stylist after 10 years of going to the same person. I saw the reviews on FeNom and figured it was worth a try. I called with the hopes of getting an appointment as soon as possible. They fit me in immediately. Shelby and Marianne kindly stayed to accommodate me until really late at night since I had a wedding to go to the next day. Shelby was truly exceptional. She matched my color perfectly. You can really tell that she is passionate about what she does. She is also an educator, so she taught me all sorts of things I didnt know about hair and hair products. There is a great energy about the salon. They have excellent customer service beyond their hair skills. I have been back another time since the first appointment and had an equally great experience. I would also like to add that their pricing is very fair for the quality of work they do. I highly recommend the salon and particularly Shelby!

My stylist, Veronica, did an amazing job picking a hair color that is just right for me, and also she gave me some helpful tips on how to maintain my hair healthy and shiny. Special special shout out to Tamar--I was so nervous to have someone new cut my short hair (past bad experiences) but Tamar was so sweet/ funny/ knowledgeable and gave me the nicest haircut/style I have ever had. Stella at FeNom Salon in Aventura, Florida took my messy, unkempt mass of unruly curls and gray roots and made magic.I live out of the country in a very small town with no professional hairdressers. My once-a-year visit to the States this time included a trip to a salon near my brother in Aventura. I researched stylists in numerous towns to find an expert in color and cutting curly hair. I found the right stylist and am thrilled with the results. Stella was a stylist in New York for 20 years before moving to Florida recently. She is extremely competent, which is obvious in her deft handling of all the instruments of a professional stylist. She worked with me to choose a flattering color for my skintone and balanced it with complementary, subtle highlights. Equally important was how she cut and styled my hair. I asked her to keep the length while I watched more and more hair fall to the floor, but I trusted the confidence in her movements.When I returned to my little town, my friends all exclaimed over how beautiful my hair looked and were amazed that after a haircut, my hair actually appeared longer and quite luxurious!In addition to Stella’s skill and artistry, I found her to be extremely personable. I really enjoyed her company in our few hours together. We became friends. I’m bringing my 90-year old Mother back to the States to see Stella at FeNom Salon in 3 months—for both of us!Thank you, Stella!

I made a last minute appointment at Fenom. What a great decision. The salon set me up with Lisa. She was truly amazing. She actually gave me the exact haircut I wanted. She took her time which was about 2 hours. The reason it took so long was because she gave me a whole new look. At no time did I ever feel rushed and they never charged me anymore then what they said it would be, which was extremely reasonable. The other girls there, Jessica and Shelby were fantastic as well. If you have any doubt about trying this place, dont. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Professional and friendly staff has much experience in styling all hair types. For me, as a guy, I worry about cutting too much off but Kimmy did my hair perfect and I already reserved my next appointment. I highly recommend this salon.

I must say this is the best salon I have ever had compared with many others in different cities in different countries.Shelby made me a really beautiful hair cut and an excellent keratin treatment.She listened very carefully all the needs and wants I mentioned her an at the same she also taught and suggested me lots of very helpful things.My hair is very difficult, thick and frizzy. With my new hair cut and after the smoothing keratin treatment I can style my hair in 10 minutes!What a great difference!!The prices are reasonable and the girls are very kind and cheerful.

She has the kind of passion that most look for in many careers and never find and it comes so natural to her. I have been going to her for years with my hair, my whole family goes to her as well, and now i do not trust anyone else with it. I have had the craziest of colors in my hair and with the products she refers me to and the amazing job done at the salon my color holds for a very long time. She cares about her clients and never lets you leave the salon with out you looking your absolute best. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great hairstylist.

Her expertise, passion and amazing personality are a great combination, and she truly pours her heart into every hairstyle, haircut and hair service. Shelby Bettencourt is also amazingly talented, and they will make sure you leave the salon happy. Come by for perfect hair color, amazing blow drys and anything else you need. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice stylist, Shelby, I got the keratin smoothing treatment which came out great. Small salon so they really cater to your needs and wants. They have a referral system where if you are referred by a friend you get $20 off which is awesome. A lot cheaper than any other keratin treatment Ive gotten, around $200. Good salon, I would recommend it to people in the Aventura/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Every time I go to Fenom Salon, I leave looking fabulous and better than I expected. Not only do they make you look great, but also feel great. The friendly staff has done an amazing job of making their clients feel welcome and at home in their stylish atmosphere. I have been going to Fenom Salon since they opened and every time I tell Jessica exactly what I want and she not only follows through perfectly, but adds her trendy touches just for me. I moved out of the area and refuse to find a new salon because I won’t let anyone else touch my hair besides her! The drive is worth the service and results!

I can’t believe i haven’t left a review on here!! This is the BEST salon. I’m so picky with who i let do my hair as I’ve had some horrific experiences in the past. Jess (owner and super hero stylist) has been doing my hair for a while. We’ve been through it all! Bleach blonde to brunette back to blonde, extensions, long hair, short hair....everything! She really takes the time to understand your hair and what is best for it. She gives you REALISTIC expectations of what your hair can handle and what it cannot. I recently decided to chop 8 inches off my hair with Jess and rock a “lob” and omg BEST HAIRCUT EVER! I’ve literally never gotten so many compliments on my hair before m. All thanks to Jess :) She really cares about her clients and she will actually make sure you’re not going through an existential crisis before doing something drastic to your hair. She makes sure you’ve thought about it and are ready for the change. I always have a blast coming into her salon. I used to live down the street from Fenom but now live in Brickell, still worth braving the 95 traffic! I won’t go to anyone else. Her whole staff is awesome and it’s so cool to watch her train and support her team. You won’t regret coming here!

Absolutley EXCELLENT. I came across this salon on google 8 months ago after several bad salon experiences in the Miama area . Jess the owner is fantastic, I have never left the salon unhappy . The atmosphere is to pamper the client and they certainly do this.

I have been going to fenom every 2 months for hair trimming for years now. I just called in today to book yet another appointment again and before I call, I always check the updated prices on their website because I know they tend to go up every now and then and the haircut was still $30 so I called in to schedule an appointment for that. The lady on the phone didnt honor the price and said its always been $37 and I asked her to check their website to see and she said there is no way its $30 on website so I didnt even go back and forth with her for $7 because its not about the price anymore, its about the service and trusting your regular clients. Never going back, I guess...

Im here from NYC to help my sick father in the hospital which is stressful enough but once I found FeNom( short for PHENOMINAL!!!!!!) and Tamar my less than attactive roots are a thing of the past!! I had such awful root regrowth and was fortunate enough to find Tamar who I must say rivals any colorist from NYC . Tamar sat me down looked at my roots and walked me through the entire retiuch process and I must say I will use her color selections when I return to NYC. Kudos to FeNom and thank goodness for Tamar. Lastly their pricing is MORE than competetive for Aventura, Fl.

Ive been going to Fenom ever since their Vegas Night grand opening party. As a guy I wasnt really sure how to pick a salon but I kept hearing about it from people online and many of my friends were raving about it on Facebook. I went there and Jessica completely changed my image. I even found out that I had no idea how to shampoo and condition my hair properly even after 31 years. Id be lying if I said this place didnt reinvent my view on hair altogether. Try Fenom! Youll see what I mean.

I dont recomend this place because of rude reseptionist. She is so mean. First time when I get there I bought a groupon and I really like the girl who did my hair cut and blowdry. But in some reason she is not there. They were nice at the beginning and always try to push you to next appointment that I personally dont like as I dont need to cut my hair so often. But when I came next time that was a hell. They called me a lot of times to change the time ( and I was at work and I told them I cant come earlier but they called again). Also they change the time appointment for my husband a lot of times. And he was upset with it. The girl who did my last haircut was Allisa. I dont know whats wrong with her and how long she is there but I really unsatisfied with her job. Very dissapointing =(

I called to set up my first appointment at the salon after a friend referred me. I spoke to somone on the phone about it and was told about their groupon to save a dollar or two. When I got there, I was told that if I hadnt gotten the groupon my friend would get her referral and I would have gotten a discount for being a new client. Obviously had i been told this when I called and said it was to schedule first appointment I would not have gotten the groupon. When i tried to talk to the workers about it they told me I couldnt do the first time and referral since I bought thr groupon. I asked if i could on another visit as i was directed to groupon when i said i wanted my first appointment scheduled. I cancelled my follow up cut. Disappointed.

I heard about this salon from couptessa and have been coming every week since then. I started out just getting blowouts then quickly converted into color/highlights and haircuts. My daughter also comes weekly for blowouts and hair cuts, she recently got married and both Jessica and Shelby did a wonderful job with the large bridal party and many of the out of town guests (22 in all). As a matter of fact thoughout the day/evening many of the guests were commenting on how beautiful everyones hair looked and how well it stayed throughout the night. Both Shelby & Jessica showed such professionalism and did such amazing work! I reccomend both stylists to everyone I know.Both stylists are so talented and knowledgable that I am comfortable having either one of them for my weekly appointments.
