I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Marie Somogyi at TOC Eye and Face. I had some very heavy upper eyelids that caused vision issues for me. I visited Dr. Somogyi to see if she could help increase my field of vision. I am totally satisfied with my decision to trust her and have her do my upper eyelid surgery. She explained the whole process to me and made sure all of my questions were answered concerning the procedure. The world looks brighter! Eighteen days ago, Dr. Somogyi reconstructed my lower right eyelid the day after a Mohs surgery for infiltrating basal cell cancer. She explained both best-case and worst-case possible outcomes before the surgery, made sure I was comfortable, and then did an amazing best-case job. Although she told me I had been missing about 1/2 the lower eyelid, the repair is already looking inconspicuous and will soon fade into the natural lines of my face. I am so lucky to have had her repair my eyelid and would absolutely recommend her.

Id never had surgery in my entire life, but I got into a bad cycling accident while visiting Austin — 1,500 miles from home — and was referring to TOC for emergency surgery. After numerous surgeries on my left eye, my eyelid began to droop over my pupil obstructing my field of vision. Dr. Somogyi performed a procedure to tighten the left eyelid muscle. The procedure was painless and I had little swelling and no post op discomfort other than an itch. Dr. Somogyi and her team could not have been more knowledgeable, professional or skillful. I had to have a cancerous growth removed from my eyelid and feel extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Somogyi repair the eye. She was very confident and reassuring before and during the operation. I wish I could include my before and after photos. What started as a fairly large wound is barely visible three weeks after the surgery and healing perfectly.

Had a great experience with Dr. Somogyi and the TOC Austin facility!Saw Dr. Somogyi in the Round Rock office, surgery date was set and a great staff forwarded all the necessary information, I completed the paperwork, had my Covid test and was set to go. Surgery was right on time and the people were awesome! My lift was to improve getting light into my eyes and that goal was accomplished. Follow up was exceptional. Great group to consider and Dr. Somogyi is definitely a great doctor!

Dr. Somogyi is very caring, encouraging, and skilled. She gave very clear instructions for post-op care and personally called for followup within 24 hours after surgery. I was referred to Dr. Marie Somogyi to correct a blocked tear duct. I could not control tearing and had tears flowing down my face most of the day. The procedure required anesthesia and was considered a surgery. This is the most efficient office that you will find - everyone does their job and spot on and are considerate and caring. My surgery was successful and I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Somogyi was my doctor when I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty. I love the results! I had a consult elsewhere but did not feel comfortable with the other provider as I did not actually see the doctor. I saw Dr. Somogyi personally at least twice prior to my surgery. During my initial consultation, she asked a lot of detailed questions. She then explained my options and addressed my questions and concerns. She was equally attentive on the day of surgery and post surgery, even personally calling me the evening after surgery to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Somogyi to anyone considering this procedure.

Dr. Somogyi was absolutely wonderful...thorough, informed, and communicative. She took care of my chalazion in a timely and very efficient (and painless!) manner. It healed very quickly. I highly recommend a consultation, and you will see for yourself what a lovely manner she has.

Dr. Somogyi performed an endoscopic DCR on my right tear duct. Everything about the service was efficient and kept me informed and comfortable throughout it all.
