All appointments are virtual until you need blood work. Policy doesnt make sense so found an online place that will get prep to you a lot faster and its all done via mail from your home. Disappointed in the Kind Clinics decision to make this their policy.

Everyone is respectful and friendly. The Kind Clinic is always on top of it. So much so that I am reminded multiple times for my appointments by emails, texts and phone calls. A little too many, but ultimately that is a small thing. Ive thing I would suggest is a statement in those communications that you can ignore this request if all your information remains the same.

Even when I lived in Dallas I’d find a way to keep my appointment in Austin. This is before their expansion. I love the sense of community and service I get here. It’s unlike any other that I’ve experienced. Thank you, KIND Clinic.

I go to the Kind Clinic for all of my sexual health and wellness needs. I also see them for my gender care. As a person of trans experience, I can say with full confidence that they are setting a new standard for gender care not just in the South, but nationally. They are staunch advocates of the trans community, as well as employing quite a few transgender health practitioners and staff. They are educated, thorough, and yeah...kind. They are always eager to have the hard conversations and to provide the best care possible. I’m so grateful!Re: the wait, don’t go on the weekend. It’s crazy. Shoot for the weekdays around lunchtime or earlier.

An Invaluable resource in our community, if there were more Clinics like this in Austin we would be very lucky as a city. The Kind clinic works with incredible compassion, works to empower our LGBTQIA community working in situations where they have been denied healthcare due to financial circumstance and i cant thank them enough.Anything you can do to support them, do it.If you are considering seeking care here, I would personally recommend Dr.Alarcon and Dr.Nguyen as the best doctors ive ever had the pleasure to be treated by.

Needed a blood draw for upcoming surgery, and I havent had a blood draw in over a decade. I was terrified, but everyone was so patient and nice and encouraging. My last blood draw was really upsetting for me, and this was just a totally different experience. I cant recommend this clinic enough! They, of course, were also on top of my pronouns, preferred name, and were eager to give me all my HRT options so I could pick the best one for me.

Very comfortable and welcoming place. Ive never had the courage to go to a clinic for anything as a MtF before but this place was helpful, and everyone was nice. They didnt call me by my dead name and hearing someone else call me by my chosen name was a happy feeling I hadnt experienced before now and had me blushing.

Would recommend everybody who is unsure of their status on everything and who need the help that the people deserve to live a long, healthy life.

An update and edit below. From 3 stars to 1 star* I called to make the appointment for my f to m son as soon as I heard about the clinic. There was a 3 month wait which is fine youre busy we get it. (Although as we left the receptionist said that the next appointment wouldnt be a 3 month wait so this must be normal practice.) I gave all information asked including birth date. The day of the appt the staff was genuinely kind and made me feel relaxed. We were in the community waiting room for about 10-15minutes and the private room for much shorter. Basically she took my sons vitals and told us to go see another dr because of his age. This would have been extremely helpful to tell us over the phone so we could get the blood tests done ahead of time that she told us they couldnt do in their office, because the dr recommended ALSO has a 3 month wait which is excruciatingly slow when we were ready to start at this very appointment which my son, his father, and myself attended and all 3 of us had to miss amazing things to be present for. This needs to be addressed. At the end of the appt she did explain about what we could expect changes-wise for our sons transformation which is helpful but I felt like she was kind of hustling us out the door. UPDATE* The Dr. we were recommended told us that she had no idea what blood work the clinic dr told us we needed. She also said some things this Dr. said was misleading and she questioned the validity of this Drs licensing. While Im sure the Kind Clinic has been helpful for some people, they werent helpful for us at all. I think that once they realized we had health insurance they were quick to refer us but we came to the clinic because just because we have insurance doesnt mean we dont need assistance. But again, they knew all of this when I made the appt so why did they waste our time???

I went in for testing and treatment, and was very nervous, but the amazing staff members that I encountered were much more than just kind. They were all genuinely concerned and caring. You’ll definitely feel the love at this facility from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. As a healthcare worker myself, I can say that The KIND Clinic should be the model that all healthcare facilities set their standards to. Thank you to all the staff that helped me!

I was so incredibly nervous about getting PrEP access - but I hate that I waited so long. As others have written, you can feel the love and passion for helping people from the minute you walk in the door. They match you with an advocate who is your go-to person for the entire time youre with Kind and they are so incredibly helpful. They assisted me with PrEP access and made it possible for someone who would never be able to afford it. Im so happy I came to Kind Clinic and all I can say is come in ASAP! My biggest regret is letting nerves get the better of me and putting it off.

If I could add more stars I sure would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My experience @ the Kind clinic has been above and beyond. From the very beginning you are greeted with the sweetest front desk ladies who are very smart and ready to welcome you with a friendly and positive attitude! Then you see you patient advocate whom will do their best to help you with all your needs and work together with you. Next you have an amazing group of MA’s and phlebotomists. They are so friendly and make you just want to stay at your appt for longer just to chit chat! Then last but not least you have an amazing Provider Marcy who will make sure all your needs for that visit are discussed and met. She will take great care of you and she truly has a passion to help others. With just her vibes around you if feeling nervous, or worried to get treated, etc she will make your day so much better! This group of folks are not your typical office folks. They are so much more than that! They work as a team and when that happens things get done so smoothly and great! I highly recommend this place! You will be in good hands ya’ll!
