Dr Wang is friendly and straightforward. He explains different options and leaves it up to you to decide which you prefer instead of lecturing you. Ive had many experiences with doctors who can be very pushy and judgmental, and Dr Wang is a refreshing change of pace in that regard. I feel like hes a great choice if the thought of going to the doctor stresses you out. He seems knowledgeable and thoughtful. His office staff is nice. I like that they enforce mask requirements and social distancing, and offer telehealth appointments.

Dr. Wang has spent a lot of time caring for me and has done a good job both looking for better solutions for my issues and in listening. He has been thorough, responsive, and very astute in assessing which medications work well with me and which do not. He is friendly warm and takes the time to listen and watch over you. All the elements for a great doctor.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Dr. Wang. Hes a kind person, but as a physician I do not believe my long term care has been adequately addressed.Another MD identified an issue that is directly attributable (and only so) to a rather concerning medical condition. Coupled with a family history of cancer at young ages, the hallmarks of it were there. It felt as though ensuring due diligence, ensuring adequate testing was performed, were a very steep uphill climb. Im convinced that I had not been such a vocal advocate for my own treatment, Dr. Wang would have simply shrugged off the potential for this condition. While ultimately the diagnosis was negative, the geneticist themselves remarked they were surprised that was the case, given my symptoms and family history. It should not have been as difficult to seek testing for this as it was. (I realize that may come off as being a hypochondriac. I can assure you that is not the case, I simply spent a great deal of time at the recommendation of another physician researching the condition and the diagnosis of / care plan for it.)I have other concerns but I will share those with the appropriate parties if given the opportunity. In summation, Dr. Wang feels like a newer doctor, and one who does not spend enough time establishing a relationship with his patients, or place enough value on their input when establishing a care plan. I cant even call it by-the-book, as given the above example I had multiple other qualified physicians questioning his approach. Ive only delayed moving physicians as long as I have due to not wanting to go down that road during COVID. At this point I dont have much of a choice.

I am a huge fan of Dr. Wang as he really takes the opportunity to get to know you as a patient and figure out how different influences on your life may be impacting your health. He seems to really care about you as a long-term patient. My main concern with the practice at ADC is that theres no transparency in billing so you are always shocked by the fact that you have paid as much as you have for a prescription refill request. His office when you need a refill will often say oh hes going to want to see you for that even if you have been successful on it in the past. So you pay $176 to go in and say, I need x for this condition. When hes not available the office will push you to a nurse practitioner who will decide that you shouldnt be on the medicine you have been successful with. Thus leading you to take meds with side effects that are not good for you only to have another visit to get on the medicine you requested in the first place. Yes, another $176.I was referred to a provider from Dr. Wang that did a $6,000 procedure and I was not informed of the cost to even make an informed decision as to whether I could afford it.Once you question why the cost was so high, you get no explanation other than this applied to your deductible. This only serves to decrease a patients desire to seek care.
