Since I have time this morning 😉 - ill leave a little review of my experience today. Not my experience with the Doctors because I adore Kadir, just the front staff.I had to get a doctors note to return to work - a simple work release note - about my negative covid test after exposure. My visit was at 3:15 yesterday and its 10:00 still no note in my email, because my portal doesnt work and Ive explained this a few times. So - I call at 8:04 and remind them a out the note. They said they would let the doctor know. 9:00 hits I call back and one girl says oh ill let the doctor know and we will send to your portal - I reminded her my portal doesnt work it has to go to my email and Ive been waiting since yesterday at 3:30, I really need to get back to work and thats why I paid for a office visit and did the entire visit. Literally the entire reason for the visit. That note. Another girl got on and I guess to put me in my place, although I was very nice and calm - maam you will get the note at some point today, we are busy and the doctor is in clinics. I told her my visit was yesterday and I just need my note so I can go back to work. She said, well, we all leave an hour after your visit yesterday. ???? Ok???? I NEED TO GO TO WORK. Just get me my note, the whole reason for my visit yesterday. So, its not the Doctors issue but hopefully they see this and see that their staff can cause a long term patient to leave their practice.Edit: got my letter at 10:17 - and not one doctors actual signature- lol - it was the front staff 😂 its a stamp of the signature. Do better Dr. KADIR.

I became a patient this year and I have been really impressed thus far. They have been very patient, thoughtful, and deliberate in delivering care. Yet they were also quick in assessing my situation and taking action. I was really worried that getting proper care would take months and include tons of unnecessary visits, but they got me on a care plan within a week after my first visit and they dont call me in unless its actually needed. Im self-pay so thats a BIG DEAL. Plus, their rates are very reasonable and they were able to give me an actual cost estimate over the phone before my first appointment - no other doctor offices will do that these days!

I had been going to Lamia Kadir for about 2 years now. Started off as a great experience but quickly felt like I was becoming just a number and rushed through my appointments so she could get to the next one.Recently, I was in for my appointment and needed to switch my pharmacy as I had moved to a different part of Austin. We updated the pharmacy while I was at my appointment and only 1 of my 2 prescriptions were called in. I emailed her letting her know and she told me she sent in and asked for the pharmacy address to confirm location. Seven days had passed without hearing anything after me confirming address of the pharmacy with her, also didnt hear from the pharmacy that the prescription was ready. After 5 days without a refill of my medication (7 days since she said she sent it in) I emailed her back asking about the prescription as Im on day 5 without and havent heard anything from her or the pharmacy. The response I received was extremely rude and unprofessional:mr taylor, you have to call the pharmacy. We have 11000 patients, cant notify all of you when meds called in. When I asked you for the pharm info, assume its sent.I proceeded in calling the pharmacy and they told me the prescription was literally just called in from Dr. Lamia. If you are being prescribed something be sure to keep following up with her as it appears she has too many patients to give attentive care to. I will no longer be going to Lamia Kadir as this is absolutely not the care I want to receive when it comes to my health.

I was looking for a female WOC primary doctor and was super excited to see Dr. Kadir. I went about a year and a half ago and I wasn’t even able to see her but saw her Physicians Assistant instead. The lab work process for the physical was a complete nightmare. They used a shady lab and I was billed for thousands of dollars. It was about a month of going back and forth to get them to get rid of those costs because I did have insurance. It was ridiculous and I never went back. Unprofessional staff and lack of judgement.

I am disappointed about this office. Doctor Kadir a great physician. She was my doctor for more than 5 years! However, the people who responde the phone calls are rude, unprofessional. After more than 5 years I will start to look for another family doctor. I called to schedule an appointment for a Covid test because I am traveling to South America. Everything was fine until I went for the test. First, they wanted to charge me $75 when my insurance cover 100% for that test. Them, they discriminated me, because they thought I had Covid or any symptoms. I explained many times that I need the test because I am traveling, so finally the woman answered me “ ohhh you don’t have the virus “. I was waiting on the parking lot for about one hour !Very disappointed, and sad that this amazing doctor don’t have employees who treat with respect to the patients.

This office has some very serious issues. They constantly forget to send prescriptions to the pharmacy, their website states a 2 day turn around on email, Ive waited a week or longer with no response and eventually had to call and then hold for 30-45 minutes. Their go to excuse is, We have a new system and things are a little backed up. Well it seems they have changed systems three times in the past 6 months. They sure do have bad luck with technology. The doctor flat out lies when confronted with the office workers incompetence. I had emailed regarding a prescription matter and Lamia said she never received an email and then begins to quote the issues I stated in the email.I was in her care for more than a year and she never altered my treatment once although there are serious issues with my current prescription regimen. A regimen I brought from another doctor whom I saw only once. I went to another doctor last week and he immediately put me on a different program and I am now doing much better. She is so incredibly scatterbrained Lamia forgets what she has directed within minutes of advising it. She scribbles her illegible instructions for self-care on the back of used pieces of paper. She is a very nice lady but I wouldnt call her competent. She is constantly being ripped-off by employees and partners with shady lab companies. So, obviously she lacks common sense and judgment. I have never had a doctor complain to me about how poor they are. Maybe if she was a better doctor this wouldnt be the case. This place is a waste of your time and money.

Dr. Kadir is a cool person and her lab techs were very nice, but the other staff were not. Everything I ever did here over two years was a huge hassle. It seemed like once a month I was getting a message or email or text about a new app or portal I was supposed to use or register for. I was constantly worried I was doing something wrong. Everything must be done through their portal or the staff gets snippy. They never had my answers over the phone. When I first started here the doctor ordered an incredibly invasive home monitoring exam performed, which she never mentioned to me, and they tried to stick me with the $1400 bill even after they said it would be covered by insurance. That was a four-month hassle. I dont think I ever received any followup regarding the many test they had me perform in their lab. I paid for those results, where are they? Im 37 and had lots of experience with doctors. This is not how its supposed to go. Im officially looking for a new GP. The first word Id use to describe this place is unprofessional. The second word is difficult. Its a shame.

I just went to visit Dr. Kadir this morning for the first time! I have had some symptoms spanning over the course of years and have gone to a couple doctors within that time. This may be the best doctor I have ever seen! Amazing bedside manner. She was immediately concerned about my symptoms and asked all the right questions. So thorough and best of all -- she truly listened to me. She had me do the in-clinic blood work which is free (awesome). The best part was that she had a game plan and told me what to expect over the next couple weeks. 10/10 would recommend! I will be back.

Unfortunately, I have not had the best experience with this office. I went in for lab work in which the first time the results were incomplete. They advised that I come in a second time-- in which I did. I came in a second time the results were incomplete again.I am an extremely patient person but this has been a disappointing experience. They advised that I come in a 3rd time to resubmit blood, and I declined. I am even more frustrated that they have not brainstorm to come up with a solution to fix this issue. Such a mess. The only good thing out of this is that the doctor is good about responding to her emails. But now I have claims on my health insurance that reflects I am responsible for. The total amount is ridiculous, especially considering I didnt even get the complete results I asked for.

For most of my life I have avoided the doctor out of fear and anxiety, but Dr. Kadir always put my at ease. She was always willing to explain her thinking and make sure I understood her diagnoses. I like Dr. Kadir. Shes friendly, efficient, comfortable, and overall a 5-star PCP.The office, however, gets zero stars. After my first appointment I recommended Dr. Kadir to a friend, and both he and I have repeatedly had issues with filling prescriptions (multiple calls to the office, no results). I have left multiple messages with the staff, but it seems the messages were never delivered. I had blood work done and didnt get the results until I called and requested they be emailed to me. I still havent actually been talked through the results, despite the staff member making a note that it needed to be done.In addition to all that, I have had multiple issues with billing, one of which that has been unresolved for about six months now. I am seriously considering just cutting my losses and footing the extra bill to be done with it.Again, the doctor was great but the aggravation and stress of dealing with the office is just not worth it and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

I thought this was going to be great and wonderful and then I get hit with a rather large bill. Not only was this a lot of money, its also for things that I didnt even get done. I went in for a single yearly physical thats covered fully under my insurance and the girl at the front desk even said that it was as well. So why am I getting this bill? I have no idea. No one in the office has gotten back to me and I am livid. I will never recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to dish out money you dont really owe to them.

TL;DR: DO NOT go here unless you want to be rushed, ripped off/fraudulently billed, and don’t care about your medical privacy. As annoyed as I was I didn’t want to write a review when I left my appointment, but dealing with them has continued to be a disaster and I don’t know if it’s more incompetence or fraudulence or equal parts both but other people should be warned.I was told that the doctor would talk to me before I sat down for a test and that there would be time for the her to meet with me following the test to discuss how we’d move forward. The test typically involves a drug screen, so I was sent down the hall to a separate room where someone barely looked up from her computer to tell me to just go in the bathroom, take a cup from the basket and label it myself, fill it, and leave it in another basket (where someone else’s cup already resided WITH THEIR NAME ON IT). There were no measures whatsoever to prevent tampering or cheating either with my own test or the other person’s, uh…sample.A very inexperienced-seeming nurse then read questions to me from a sheet that didn’t really pertain to my situation at all. Later on Dr. Kadir bustled in in a rush and asked many of the same questions without really giving me any useful explanations. She was holding some papers in her hand that I assumed must relate to me if she had brought them into the room, but after a moment I realized to my utter surprise that they had another patient’s name and medical information on them. Somehow she didn’t realize I had an appointment and left in about two minutes.During this time, while I was waiting between visits, I could clearly overhear the staff discussing other patients and other topics. The door was not always fully closed when someone was in the room with me.No one told me directly that there was no time scheduled after the test to discuss results with the doctor. They just casually asked me when I could come back and when I asked in surprised why we weren’t doing it now as I had been told, the nurse said it hadn’t been scheduled. More time out of work and, conveniently, another appointment fee for the practice. Indeed one of the things I had overheard was Dr. Kadir loudly saying she couldn’t skip lunch every day and they needed to change the schedule. Thank you for respecting people’s time when they were ALREADY there. The worst, however, is that when I was checking my insurance claims area, I discovered that Aetna had a member rate for all the services that had been performed and Dr. Kadir’s office had billed me more than three times what they should have. In fact, my account in their own system showed a negative balance (meaning they owed it to me) for the exact amount I had overpaid. When contacting the office, I was given evasive answers that boiled down to: “We are not honoring the member rate with the insurance company we have contracted with and flatly refuse to charge you fairly.” I contacted Aetna (imagine being so annoyed that you contact your insurance company to back you up, and they take your side?) who confirmed I had been overcharged. They contacted the billing department on my behalf, who flatly refused to cooperate. They are now trying to cover their tracks by deleting the entire bill and I’m not even joking. When an insurance company basically says “wow that’s messed up,” you need to reevaluate your business practices. Their claim is that the test is “not covered by insurance” which is a lie of omission in that there IS a member rate contracted by insurance. Claiming insurance is not applicable is a lie, pure and simple. This is a profit-focused practice, pure and simple. You’re just a bill to them. With the privacy violations, scheduling screwups, lack of attention, general air of disorganization in the office, slowness of replies from the CEO to even understand how their own billing works, this place co
