If you have a straight-forward medical issue causing your pain, Dr. Dumitescu might be great, but I definitely do not. I filled out the 17 pages of new patient paperwork and brought everything needed to educate him on my MRI-diagnosed condition, since it’s rare. Nothing was looked at. I was told the condition the radiologist and my neurosurgeon has diagnosed me with was incorrect and I’m “just sensitive to pain.” I’m actually very tough and don’t focus on my pain. Bear in mind, I was not looking for medicine other than a strong anti-inflammatory — not pain medicine or any procedures, which are contraindicated in my condition. All that to say, if you’re after a doctor who will treat you according to what you HAVE and not according to what they OFFER, I wouldn’t waste your time — especially if you’re in pain and things are that much more taxing.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this office staff ,Dr. Dumitrescu and especially Caleb Greer ,the nurse practitioner, who is a wonderful blend of the holistic and allopathic approach to healing. We trust Caleb with everything! He has helped us with our hormones, infections, pain management, nutrition, & even depression! He discovered my husband had a cancer that other doctors had not detected. Thanks to Caleb my husband was able to seek treatment in a timely manner. Caleb has a love for God, for people , for the earth & for animals. Caleb is state of the art. He is brilliant and we really trust him.

I can’t say enough good things about Precision Regenerative & Functional Medicine and Dr. Dumitrescu and his staff. For more than six years they have taken good care of me for the pain associated with a variety of neck joint issues. It’s a friendly place and they put you at ease for the procedures that provide the relief to carry on with everyday life. I’ve had numerous steroid injections to the cervical area and several nerve deadening procedures. These are the folks to take good care of you, answer your questions, and to always provide honest and realistic expectations about the limits of what can be done. Dr. D is always studying advances in the field and adapting what is appropriate. Most recently I have been under the care of a nurse practitioner, Caleb, in Dr. D.’s office at his recommendation. This approach to pain management looks at genetic markers and blood test results for a holistic approach. It’s part of the “Functional” in the name of the practice. This has been amazing and I highly recommend that anyone ask whether this is appropriate for your situation. Best pain Dr. in town. I unfortunately deal with tons of back issues at a young age (22) and have been to doctors all across town and no one is as smart, kind, and passionate about their profession. He will teach you the anatomy behind what’s going on and although he does a lot of procedures that are still experimental I have never felt like he was trying to sell me anything. He takes an approach that looks at the entire health of a patient instead of jumping to surgeries or unnecessary procedures.

Be aware! I booked online on the doctor’s website. I showed up to no appointment listed. Apparently they changed my appointment to another date (10 days later) and time. I did not receive any prior notification of the change. This office is not convenient for me so I made an extra effort to make this appointment. The front desk staff was not helpful, did not take responsibility or try to remedy the problem. They blame the online booking software. Anyway, this office could care less. Not a great vibe in their office either. I will go elsewhere.

Dr. Dumitrescu stays on top of the latest treatment and spends time with you explaining everything. He is patient, heart felt and knowledgeable. The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him if you suffer from pain.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Dumitrescu. He was able to see me quickly and he viewed my MRI with solid findings and explanations for my pain. Together we found a path forward to help me regain some strength and help ease my discomfort. I feel he tries to avoid heavy medication and really wants to help me to work through the issues I face. I recommend this doctor highly.

I was amazed at the amount of time Dr. Dumitrescu spent with me during my initial visit. He fully explained the possible causes of my pain. After the MRI, he translated the results in a way I could understand. Dr. Dumitrescu is very attentive, and he truly cares about his patients.

Finally found a doctor who actually LISTENED to my issues and didnt write them off. Wish i would have found him years ago. Staff was also very caring and considerate.

I went to Dumitrescu for many years. At first things werent so bad, but after several failed injections we had a visit where he simply gave up on treating me. Told me flat out that I would never get better, there was nothing else to try, and that I would be on pain medication for years without a foreseeable end.I was devasted by this visit, and went to another pain management doctor for a second opinion without much hope - wherein multiple other options were presented. The only positive thing I can say is that at least the last visit here was so bad that I sought another doctor to go to that turned out to be a huge help.

The absolute best doctor and staff for regenerative medicine, as well as pain management!!! Been going to him for years and have never been disappointed.

I just met with Dr. D for the first time - and not only did he find things on my MRI that my neurosurgeon and my GP missed, he found a congenital spine defect that Id never known I had! He is incredibly thorough and kind - obviously has made it his business to be as much as spine expert as he is a pain expert. Highly recommended.
