Words cannot express how happy and lucky I am to have had Dr. Shah and his staff at my side to assist me in my procedure. This being the very first time ever having to need any sort of surgery, I admit I was both nervous and apprehensive. Dr. Shah was supportive and reassuring - taking the time to explain things and ensure I knew my options and what to expect.I cannot recommend Dr. Shah and his team enough should you have need for their expertise and abilities. A friendly, positive and upbeat team. I am quite glad to have had him for my procedure.

Dr. Shah is an amazing doctor!! He saved my life!Dr. Shah was honestly a god send when I was shocked to find out I had stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my liver. He immediately found another surgeon to cut my liver the same day he performed the colon surgery. He is very professional, friendly, informative, and has a great bedside manner. Not your normal rude, mean surgeon at all!Dr. Shah really listens to your concerns and is reassuring. He is also very handsome (which really helps)Want to mention how great Alex his medical assistant is, she so friendly and caring!

I had truly one of the worst medical experiences of my life with Dr Mangione. For our initial consultation he was gruff and was irritated at me asking any questions. I had heard he was a good surgeon so I decided to go against my instincts and use him for surgery. The surgery appeared to go well, but the next day I was in severe pain and wrote his office. They told me that was normal. I then had more pain and a large swelling and I wrote again telling them that it was not going well and described what was happening. They said to send a photo (notice they didnt ask me to come into the office). I sent the photo and they said everything looked normal. I was in more pain and I finally had to tell them to put into my file that I believed I had a post surgical complication and that Dr Mangione was refusing to see me. Once they got the email (and realized that they were setting themselves up for a lawsuit by refusing to see me) they allowed me to come in. I came in, and once again Dr Mangione shouted at me, was rude and stated I never said that I wouldnt see you! I kept my mouth shut since I was in pain. At examination it turned out that indeed had a serious blood clot that needed further surgery. I asked for a different Dr in the practice to do the procedure since I had lost confidence in Dr Mangione, and Dr Mangione said I wont let anyone else in my practice touch you and you will need to go schedule something with someone in Williamson county to get care. I was shocked at his response but was in so much pain I let him cut me again even though I was worried about his capabilities. After the surgery I was in such agony despite the pain meds that I almost checked myself into the ER. One month later the wound never healed and I am still suffering. Dr Mangione said that I need to have another surgery to fix the problem from him trying to correct the problem from the first surgery. I have now asked for all my medical records and have switched to another surgeon who is working to fix the problems from my interactions with Dr. Mangione. The new surgeon is actually friendly and is open to answering questions and to discussing options, unlike Dr Mangione.I would never ever suggest anyone use him. He needs to retire and do something that doesnt make him so angry and unhappy.

This review is for Dr. Andrew Miller only. The office staff is average. So nothing good or bad to say. After going in several times with another doctor at the practice and “finding nothing” (even after a second abscess drain), I was becoming frustrated.Dr Miller quickly and promptly addressed my fistula. I was scheduled for surgery just weeks after consultation. He was comprehensive, clear and kind and made me feel at ease. He really knows his practice. Going to him at first would have saved me money.Be wary of other doctors that simply don’t know what they are talking about and are confused.

Dr. Fox kindly and thoughtfully addressed my “fears” about having a preventative colonoscopy done for the first time. The procedure was actually painless, easy, and no big deal! Her entire staff worked to keep me feeling emotionally and physically comfortable, and I am so relieved now that it’s done. I highly recommend Dr. April Fox!

I had one of my best experiences with this practice and with Doctor Robert Cline. The office staff was welcoming and helped me with all my questions. They were very polite and kind.Doctor Cline has a very professional and very respectful manner. He’s very pleasant, listened to all my concerns and addressed every one of them. He make me feel that at that moment, I was the only patient he had to see. No pressures to end the consultation quickly. I was impressed. I really liked that for the first step he recommended the least aggressive way to deal with my problem. His nurse was also just as pleasant.I would certainly recommend this practice, especially Doctor Robert Cline.

5 stars for Dr. Fox. She was clear, attentive and knowledgeable. She did an amazing job explaining my options, answering my questions, and eventually performing a surgery with zero issues or complications. My issues were with her medical assistant. Interestingly enough, this is the same assistant who has garnered bad reviews for the practice because of something that she had posted on social media. While I dont necessarily think that the practice should have to answer for her previous bad behavior outside of work, she just so happened to also be a horrible medical assistant. She never once answered my calls, and rarely got back to me on the same day; even while I was in the throes of surgery prep and was puking my guts out (she later told me that this was a common side effect of the medicine that I had taken, even though she had not mentioned that previously.) I had to proactively reach out to her to ask about surgery prep instructions a week before my surgery, so I didnt learn until days before how much time I needed to request off from my job. She told me that I would be left with 2 incisions, even though apparently it was 5. She told me that I might be able to leave the hospital without spending the night, even though apparently Dr. Fox always advises spending the night after that particular procedure. The only way I was ever able to get her on the phone was when I specifically asked to talk to someone besides her. I seriously considered trying to find a different doctor in Austin as a result of dealing with her, but I saw it through because there arent many (if any) alternative clinics in Austin with the same specialty, and because, again, Dr. Fox is incredible. But dealing with her in the lead-up to my surgery was worse than the surgery itself.Overall: I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Fox, but if Erin is still her assistant, be prepared for even more pains-in-the-butt.

I have a chronic anal fissure and decided to meet with Dr. April Fox. She was professional, took her time, explained the several options I had and made the office visit pleasant and gained my trust. Today, I had my Sphincterotomy procedure at Seton (took 30 minutes) and I have minimal to no pain. I am able to sit, walk and eat with no discomfort! She did an excellent job and is a fantastic surgeon!

Today was the first time for me visiting this office and seeing Dr. Fox. I had a very POSITIVE experience with the front office staff checking me in and checking me out. I had to make a testing appointment and that was very easy and efficient. The wait time to see Dr. Fox was minimal. Dr. Fox spent a fair amount of time in her examination along with a review of my medical history, I did not feel rushed. Dr. Fox also gave me plenty of opportunities to ask my questions and I left feeling very confident with the Dr. and the answers she provided me. She provided patient care with compassion and she was very thorough.

5 Stars for Dr. Fleeger and the rest of the team at CTCRS! I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in April 2018. Dr. Fleeger performed my resection and temporary ileostomy. I am now in remission. Kim Furlong (CTCRS ostomy nurse) is wonderful too! The staff has ALWAYS been friendly and professional each time I have been there. I cant say enough nice things about their office. Cancer sucks but if youve got to go through it, this is a great team to help you along the way.

My appointment date was 2/15/17. Made the appointment 10 days in advance with the operator even confirming my insurance. Got a reminder call on 2/13/17 for my appointment at 10. Show up and I am no where to be found in the system. It is now 50 minutes past my appointment as they try to fit me in. Gives me little confidence in future treatment if they can not properly schedule a patient appointment. So far would not recommend.

I have not personally received treatment from this facility, nor do I expect to...however I do not believe that this company deserves the negative reviews due to an employees actions who was not acting as an agent of this company at the time of the incident. As an Aggie, I am ashamed and disgusted by anyone, fellow Aggie or not, who would post a negative review of any business in a situation such as this. Anyone who posts negative reviews calling for the individual to be fired needs to reevaluate their own actions as I am sure she has. You should not have your livelihood threatened because you are human. Have compassion and forgiveness.

Im in shock! This practice will not allow me to see a new doctor even though I have not seen one of their doctors since 2009! The doc I saw is out of town until next week. I have to wait for him to return to the office, find time to review my notes (close to a decade ago) then HE decides if I can see the female doctor in the office. I explained to Lupe that Im supposed to start cancer treatment next week and it was IMPERATIVE this be address ASAP! I was then told, old doc does not have any openings until July anyway...I would still be waiting! Why does this practice, the only one in Austin,Lupe said nearest one is San Antonio, make NEW patients, considered new even in cardiology if not seen in 1 year, go through this? I have been fighting for my life a year, my 2nd breast cancer. Now that I can finally get treatment... because of this VERY STRANG protocol by the doctors... I have to suffer with this pain and delay cancer treatment as any possible infection must be gone before treatment.

Dr. Cline is the BEST he got me through Colonectomy and several colonoscopies. I see those complaining about somebody exercising their 1st amendment right and although it doesnt sound like anything I would personally support. It has ZERO to do with what kind of doctors and practice they run. If you need a Colon/Rectal surgeon this is the ONLY place I want to go to for treatement.

I would never give a dime to an organization that had conducted itself as disgracefully as CTCRS. One of their employees recently made an intentional, public desecration of a memorial to service members who have given the ultimate sacrifice, and CTCRS pretended nothing happened once they were made aware of it. I understand that one cannot blame an organization for the occasional poor hiring decision. However, an organization that sweeps such an act under the rug by refusing to fire her or even make a public comment condemning the behavior has thereby demonstrated a complete and utter lack of professionalism and respectability. There are many surgeons in this great state. Go to one who possesses some integrity. God only knows what other responsibilities they are willing to shirk...

A practice that employs people that are completely unprofessional and immature makes me wonder about the integrity of the rest of the staff here. I tried to give Erin Solorio the benefit of the doubt, and forgive her for her mistake. However, I have yet to see an apology to the Texas A&M memorial student center from her or by Central Texas Colon and Rectal surgeons. As an Aggie and a 10 year Marine veteran, I am deeply saddened by the immaturity of one of their employees. Maybe she should be forced to go volunteer her time at a VA hospital or at Walter Reed, and see firsthand the struggle of a servicemember who has lost limbs, suffers from severe burn injuries, and PTSD in service to our nation. Maybe, she should go with a casualty assistance calls officer to the home of a spouse or mother of a fallen servicemember to inform them that their servicemember has died in combat. She can experience the devastation of a mother, with 2 kids wholl never see their father alive again. I really hope yall make this right.
