As always, a very good experience. I had a more challenging (for me) procedure and the staff and paramedic that I worked with were absolutely wonderful. They listened to my concerns and were very empathic and supportive. I would highly recommend ARA!

I am not an imaging professional and at the end of the day, the results are what matters from any diagnostic-related service, ie. were the images taken properly, with the latest technology available, and were the images interpreted accurately? So I cannot comment on those aspects of ARA. I can however, comment on their: attitude toward the patients they serve, management of scheduling, efficiency of handling appointments and overall professionalism. The Westlake Austin location gets my highest vote in all. Their staff is professional, helpful, welcoming and courteous. Their handling of COVID protocols is superb. The wait time upon arrival for the two visits Ive experienced thus far is little to non-existent and yet their waiting rooms have a constant flow of traffic, and their scheduling and text reminders are not overdone and on point. Great job ARA! Well done!

I had a very positive experience at ARA Westlake.I couldn’t have been treated more caring and compassionate from the time that I checked in until the procedures were completed.I appreciate all the effort that was made by the staff to make sure everything was done to keep all of us safe during this pandemic.The cozy warm robe made me feel like I was at a spa....well, maybe not but I still felt a little pampered!The technologists who operate the imaging modalities for Diagnostic Mammography and X-rays have obviously been skillfully trained. I had to compliment Michelle, my technologist yesterday, and let her know how appreciative I was of her highly skilled and knowledgeable work.I highly recommend services at ARA Westlake.

I had a bone density scan today at the Westlake Medical Center ARA.I was very pleased with Michelle, the tech who conducted my scan. She is the consummate professional -- friendly, patient, and explained everything from start to finish, including what the scan would measure.

If you are willing to wait weeks for an initial appointment and only be asked to fill out forms that could prevent you from having the procedure at the first appointment , and then waste time rescheduling only to find they are available at inconvenient locations be my guest.I will say once all this was endured the staff did a great job the second time around.

Conveniently located, ample parking, often can get “next day” appointments and courteous staff.

Excellent experience with the caregiver yesterday who did my mammogram. In this social distancing, stay safe, keep your distance, time that we are in, the kind and caring way that my exam was done was a very pleasant experience. My caregiver walked me through every step with excellent instructions and expectations. She had a professional, gentle and comforting touch for all of the positioning that goes on in order to get the right picture for the doctors review. The doctor was able to review my file right away and I received a clear to go very quickly.The check-in process was also very professional with the wait in the car until we text you procedure, the in person, fill out and sign the forms was made easy with the forms already being filled out from my online pre-check in information. And, the warm robe was extra special for my feel good comfort.Job well done, thank you for all the parts that made for a very positive overall experience. My breast cancer was caught early 4 years ago and my treatment was light compared to the treatments that many women have to go through. Job well done ARA. Ladies, get those mammograms, putting that off until later on can be a real game changer. You owe this to yourself and those that love you.Mary Ann

Check-in was fast but I got caught up with sending pictures of my DL and Ins card. The ultrasound was pretty fast. Overall great experience.

Excellent staff. On time.

Had two fractures in my right arm. Front desk ladies were nice enough, but the lady doing the x rays (Michelle I believe she said) was a bit sadistic. My range of motion was about 10” but to get the images she said I needed to straighten my arm out completely flat. I asked her if there was another way to capture the image and she didn’t answer directly... instead she said I could curse and take my time. Sweated and winged out of pain. Maybe she didn’t think I was dealing with a fracture and was just being dramatic. Went to get a shoulder image today and the x ray tech was extremely gentle knowing I had a break... and doing the human thing in trusting my word/his perception of my range of motion. He said what she did was not cool and mentioned the golden rule. “Just doing my job” mentality VS “do unto others” mentality. I seem to remember a certain war in the 1940’s and the following Nuremberg trials where people were just doing their jobs as well... Yeah yeah apples and oranges but I would suggest another location if you want medical professionals that refuse to exacerbate your injury to complete their jobs faster.

The 2 technicians I had for my mammogram and ultrasound were so kind and reassuring. Michelle did my mammogram and, unfortunately, I am iffy on the name of the tech who did my ultrasound, Filimino? Both calmly took time to explain the procedures and help me get the images we needed. I couldnt have had a better experience and am so thankful for both of them.

Everyone from the COVID screener to the technicians who provided the MRI and Xray tests were polite and solicitous. I arrived 10 minutes after the recommended time to do paperwork, but finished it well before the scheduled exam time. They started my exam about 5 minutes early and took less time to perform both tests than previously discussed. Ive no doubt the radiologists will do an excellent job (but if they dont Ill post a review on that...).

Horrible!! I went for a Mammogram, Im 33 years old and was told Im not old enough to be tested so why am I here.... terrible customer service.Also, my mammogram was a claim sent to insurance and I owed $160 of the claim. Which is fine, that is my responsibility. However, they had the wrong address for me and I never saw a bill and they sent it to collections. I see 3 other reports on here that are the same. So not my credit report is being abused because they had an address on me from a place I lived 15 years ago. WTF ADA!!Listen, I have 2 friends that are under the age of 30 years old with breast cancer and If I want peace of mind checking my breast for cancer - do not shame me for that or make me feel like Im crazy for getting them checked. Thats not compassion. I pay for insurance, I should be able to get what I need done. Thanks!

These people are great! I have been coming here for years for mammograms, bone scans and MRIs. I am claustrophobic and they were most helpful and considerate when I had my MRI. I highly recommend!

Got some xrays done here and couldnt have been happier with the experience. I was hesitant as my doctor said I didnt need an appointment since it was just xrays. I arrived as soon as they opened to see there were already 7 people in the waiting room, so I expected Id be there awhile. However, after an easy check-in, I was brought it, scanned, and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Friendly people, nice facilities - will definitely go there again if I need any imaging done.

Imaging was fine but they did not update my billing address, so I never got a bill for what the insurance didnt pay and they sent my account to collections. They claimed an autodialer called me but I never got those calls. So, 1 star review, thanks for screwing up my credit right before I buy a house ARA!

I was also sent to a collection agency and had no idea that I owed ARA a balance. I called the billing department because I was so angry and was told that they have a autodialer that contacts patients for bill payments. That really works in this age of spam and phishing calls!
