Not necessarily for RBFCU overall.I set an appointment time to learn about becoming a member, opening an account, and to talk about balance transfers. Got to my appointment 10 minutes early.First impressions- the security guard was weird, greeted me, and asked how he could help and then he didnt seem to care about my answer. Cue the door attendant who works there checking me in and then telling me that they are short-staffed and I might have to wait a little. I received about three reminders to get to my appointment on time (via text).Two new customers who dont have appointments come in and get seen before me. I notice there is also a banker in her office without any customers. Doesnt come out to help me.10 minutes after my appointment starts, I am taken to a private room to talk about why Im there. I tell her Id like to talk about balance transfers. She sets up a video call with a banker in San Antonio, tells me how to operate the volume button on the remote, and then leaves the room. 5 minutes later a banker comes up on the screen. She is cordial and starts credit card application for me. Tells me I wont find the results out until the next day. At the end of the next business day I find out that I got declined because I have debt. Thanks. Thats what Im trying to get out of dude.Take-aways:*Whats the point of an appointment if you arent going to honor the time? Just block off all the open appointments if youre short staffed.*Give ample directions- I didnt know what I was doing during the video call.*Dont treat me like an afterthought. Even if Im not a customer yet, treat me like one.*I left not knowing all that RBFCU could do for me. I see that as a loss. Potential not lived up to. How many future customers are you losing because of this?

Bank elsewhere their policies and staff are garbage and always try to squeeze every penny out of you. HORRUBLE EXPERIENCE

Terrible service. Not understanding. Especially being a member for so long you would think they would be more understanding. All I asked for was for my debit card to be mailed to the branch because I didn’t receive my debit card in the mail the first time it was ordered. They insisted on sending it again through the mail which will put me out another 3/5 business days and hopefully I receive it. They don’t work with you. They don’t care. Give your money to someone else to hold. I plan on it.

This is a good bank but atm is not taking cash right now which is annoying. Its busy and I have to wait in line now just to deposit money.I waited for 30 minutes and got tired and left. Went to Congress/ Ben white located way better. Has 2 atms that work

Do not use this bank if you want to go to a credit union use a credit union that actually cares for thier customers. Ive been banking with them for a year and ran into nothing but problems, they have No perks what so ever unless you own a business of course,Thier direct diposet is even to thier discretion.I am now changing to Velocity so much better in every way shape and form.
